Does anyone else think that this Kherson counter-offensive feels like a return of the old concept of pitched battle? Is this common nowadays? As wars become too complex, both sides just take the initiative to do one big battle at a time to simplify things up. Zelensky announced it, Russia responded by sending troops there, and big numbers on each side are fighting now.
bump
Wasn't aware he announced it.
If that's true, i take it as proof he's not even trying to win
>he's not even trying to win
Do you think the Russians wouldn't have even realized they were being attacked? Without his announcement hours after the start of the attack?
He announced it a long time ago and it might have been a good idea. If Russia moves troops to Kherson and if it's easier for Ukraine to fight those troops when they're in Kherson rather than in the Donbass, it makes sense to get Russia to reinforce Kherson.
im not expert but this makes sense. ukraine could benefit from the larger battle being across the dnieper river. it also looks like it could pin the russian supply routes between ukraine lines and the sea of azov, making it easier to target
No, what you're seeing is a return of pre-motorized warfare. The reason why pitched battles happened at all is not because of muh honor or everybody just wanting to have one battle and call it a day, but because you had a scouting force that was far faster than the entire rest of the army; and so when two armies found each other was either a decision to accept the engagement on the best possible ground for yourself or nope out and be chased off until you found ground more to your liking.
All that changed with motorization. Now suddenly your infantry can keep up with your scouting force, and your heavy cavalry are mobile armored cannons. Better communication means you can coordinate an entire frontline, and industrialization has given you enough manpower to fill that frontline with bodies. Technologies like airplanes, long range artillery, and missiles are just added bonuses that keep encouraging the doctrine to move towards this mobile warfare.
BUT, that's all broken down in Ukraine on both sides. Ukraine doesn't have the tanks, and Russia is a potemkin military. So they devolve back to not necessarily announcing when they'll fight each other, but lobbing what amount to rocks at each other from across the proverbial river - like chimps - until they amass enough force to actually power an offensive attack. It's taken Ukraine months to prepare for even a small push towards Kherson. The lesson here is not what military doctrine will advance towards, but what it will devolve into.
tl;dr it's the Iran-Iraq War all over again.
tl;dr it's the Iran-Iraq War all over again.
To the human aspect, their is something terrible and grim about being in war with a neighbor who is too stupid to live and too scared to die.
It's like getting into a knife fight with mexican beat cops while lighting bar's full of tourists on fire from giant money burn pits set up through all of Tijuana. I mean we could do it but frick am i glad for drones and rifles. No one wants to fight to death a shit smeared moron, but a shit smeared reatard you might be related too?
>tl;dr it's the Iran-Iraq War all over again.
Actually, that's probably one of the better parallels I've seen here, though the foreign aid situation and general global sentiment favored the attacker and not the defender in that one, which is why Saddam gassed civvies and Putin likely won't. It also implies that Putin has some reserve of heavy shock troops squirreled away somewhere (tbh he probably does). Other than that, the parallels are pretty solid.
>Iran-Iraq War all over again
imagine an electrified dnipro river...
solid analysis
it's why we get trench webms that look like WWI now
Libya was the same way once NATO broke Gaddafi's airforce and most of their artillery it turned into a waiting game for the rebels to mass enough troops and for Gaddafi to mass enough replacement equipment to launch another offensive.
Really Libya shows how a war like this could end, the Rebels were stuck in the same general area of the country for months until they gained enough equipment and Gaddafi lost enough equipment for them to make a break through.
Unexpectedly lucid and well explained. Capped for posterity.
>it is not yet possible to confirm the extent of Ukrainian advances
there are none
>most of the units around kherson are likely under-manned and are reliant upon fragile supply lines
"likely" doesn't sound very reassuring
>if ukraine succeeds in undertaking sustained offensive operations
that's a big if
>Talks out his moronic anus
LOL, I can't wait for the butthurt to come pouring out once opsec concerns relax and let the Ukrainians rub their dicks on your Muskrat mutt fetal alcohol syndrome face.
100%, when we start seeing ukrainians state "we're conducting an offensive towards x with y forces" openly like an hour before the offensive starts we'll get salt better than 2016 and 2020 combined
>likely" doesn't sound very reassuring
They're talking about Russian troops
>I have no evidence to refute these claims or really anything of substance to say so I'll just pull shit out of my ass because I'm a seething homosexual
t. You
>pic saying they’re mostly shelling each other like before
>pitch battle am I right guys
oh look, it's another one of those "we don't know what's happening but ukraine is winning for sure trust me bro" bong updoots
kys
I love how Russians fall upon Freudian projection almost every time the part their shitstained homosexual lips.
It's a return to WW1 style trench warfare. Anyone who watched the battles of Mosul and Aleppo (like the entire Russian MoD for example) knew it would be. The advantage is always going to be to the defender, machine guns, mines, mortars, digging equipment, man-portable guided missiles, etc, it's WW1.2
The Russians clearly knew this going in which is why they've been so clever with their artillery.
lmao, heavy artillery usage is standard Soviet doctrine.
>The Russians clearly knew this going in which is why they've been so clever with their artillery.
uh, wut? having no PGMs and shooting your tube artillery til the barrels warp isnt exactly clever
Where they've deployed it was what the big brains saw. There was ONE artillery brigade at Kiev and five at Mariupol. Those five were then moved to to Izum front to attack that big Yuke salient, ultimately to good effect. Now it's at Bakmut I think. It's all very methodical, they knew it would be a war of attrition and they know what they're doing.
They Yuke plan was to run an insurgency, but the Russians have so far only taken the Russian speaking bits and pivoted immediately into a hearts and minds campaign. Then they were overly impressed with the idea of combined arms warfare, but as we've seen that's just banging their head against a brick wall, and now of course they've seen the Russian point of view so what is Zalensky begging for? Artillery of course.
If you watched The Great War week by week, nothing about any of this is particularly surprising with two exceptions, both Russian
1. How very cautious they're being with their capital. At least after the first few weeks.
2. How quick they've been to accept failure. If you think about how Haig or Foch or Falkenhayn would have acted with the Kiev front in 1916 they would have just kept piling troops in there, where the Russians immediately cut their losses and moved to reinforce their successes.
Meanwhile, and we're not hearing much about yuke casualties at this point, the yukes seem more than happy to Verdun themselves at every opportunity.
I don't know this, but I willing to be money that the Russian defenses around Kherson are full defense in depth. The hidenburg line on steroids. All the yukes are actually doing is feeding meat into the grinder.
>and we're not hearing much about yuke casualties at this point
The absolute highest admitted daily losses by Ukraine extrapolated out across every single day of the war still only amounts to a third of Russia's confirmed losses.
Impressive.
>the hindenberg line on steroids
Much like shock and awe on steroids, right scott?
>The hidenburg line on steroids.
I can't take these posts anymore, I seriously can't.
>Hearts and minds
So slaughtering civilians and tossing cruise missiles into random Commieblocks is supposed to win hearts and minds?
>shooting your tube artillery til the barrels warp isnt exactly clever
it is, however, very ww1.
>let's get bogged down in a 6+ month long attrition battle :^)
>surely nothing can go wrong :^)
>our artillery will make up for it :^)
clearly being on the eastern front twice wasn't enough for you was it, do you need a lesson in the ways of the western front as well vlad?
it even has stealth bombs from cold war days
holy frick
This thing really is just a riced up Su-27 isn't it?
At least the Su-27 is currently flying.
Russian fighter jet design is sexy, if you know what I mean
rapeable?
dude you are so weird, all of your posts with the same smiley face.
Last week you were talking about how Russia would unleash nuclear holocaust on the world, now you're taunting russia.
Are you just bored? I find many hobbies to be relaxing.
>massed fire area shelling when you have a 5:1 advantage in tubes
>clever
Select one and only one.
Making all that artillery could be considered clever though
Yeah, that' why they sent in riot cops as frontline troops and charged in with undefended convoys.
>Anyone who watched the battles of Mosul and Aleppo (like the entire Russian MoD for example) knew it would be
This is absolutely nothing like the battle of Mosul you tard. Why do homosexuals think they're military experts because they watch youtube?
>Russians
>Clever
The Nato shills flocked to this like flies to shit. Nice b8.
Its often a case of what you can do militarily is really down to what your troops are capable of doing, in terms of training and going on organised joint scenarios where you figure that out just what works and doesn't in terms of people and equipment. Having to 'wing it' in terms of putting together an taskforce that will be capable of functioning tactically up against their op-for and still meeting their operational targets is really fricking hard.
However,
Strategically you can get away with a bit more in the big picture of things and while I've never been 'brass' in terms of a military command at that level, I can look at it from the operational level by being a cunning rat frick bastard.
>I want to fight you on some occupied land
>do a weigh up of what I've got, what they got
>figure there's a lot more pro's for me in the Kherson region at the attacker
>there's a number of cons for the defenders
>this might be the best place to fight them
What I'd want to do is load up a lot of the enemy in that area (as we're not really working on a specific timeline) and I would attrition them with having to keep all those troops, vehicles and arty fed with some really long supply lines that drag all the way from Crimea. Cut those lines so they're on bread, water and happy thoughts and let them rot for a few weeks in their own shit. They'll be a bit cranky being stuck in the field for weeks on end, being molested by harrying and spoiling attacks, meanwhile we can use that time to-
>Find weak areas
>Get our guys operational and tactical shit stowed away before hitting the op-for
So I think thats sort of what they're doing in Kherson, its not a bad place to attack and if Russia sent a lot of dudes there, then its really only straining a lot of its logistics tail having to keep them there.
But without being on the ground or access to any secret stuff its kind of hard to give much more than that speculation
Actually a strange manner of thinking, such a counter-offensive. After shouting from the rooftops about the invasion of Russia, the damage and the suffering, Ukraine now intervenes itself and goes on the attack. Have they learned nothing? Why return evil for evil? Everyone now has land, leave each other alone, stop the war and reconcile with each other as Slavic brothers and sisters.
Im saying opinion thus?
ah yes, spamming your oneliner everywhere is definitely a genuine discussion where you present your opinion and are willing to have it changed.
hokhols deserve no reconsciliation after this.. be honest
I agree, ukraine should never reconcile with russia. No country should reconcile with russia. Russia should be isolated and left to rot from within, cut off from supplies, advancements, and aid. Never reconcile with an abuser.
hokhol will be deliberated, sorry
typical vatnik bot.
hehehe
>Slavic brothers and sisters.
The Russian slav's aren't doing shit, its just their asiatic goblins being sent in from out east from the bumfrick nowhere provinces
If the death toll for white Russians were as high as the deaths of non whites Putin would be hanging from a tree right now
St Petersburg AND Leningrad?
St. Peterburg is the city proper
Leningrad Oblast did not change its name after the USSR fell.
There are also two Moscows, one for the city, and one for the oblast.
>Leningrad
It took me many years to finally get used to calling it "St. Petersburg".
>Chechnya
Do Kadyrov's supersoldiers actually do anything but film TikTok videos?
The Kadyrovites are mostly used as blocking troops. I'm not even sure if there's that many left in Ukraine right now, Kadyrov himself seems to think Poots is gonna lose considering he just asked for an air defense system he has no use for as a gibsmedat. Already planning for retaliation strikes I guess?
They are the worlds best COIN infantry who actually know how to put down insurgencies, unlike americans
Last I saw of Chechens was in 2006 near the Afghan-Paki border doing their whole war-tourist, jihad shit.
It didn't end well for them then, probably not much different now days
Story time?
Hah, sort of the funny old story of go to Iraq, end up fighting Syrians, go to Afghanistan and end up fighting Pakistanis
US intel had a hot tip that they passed down to us in the region of Badakhshan to follow up a convoy headed into Pakistan and seemed pretty concerned.
>Finding arse in that place is hard with both hands
>Manage to get my guys in the hills to eventually track down the most likely route
>We busted ourselves catching up
>Big convoy of about 50 dudes + about the same with donkeys loaded up with opium
>6 of us, not great odds, get on the hook and the yanks can get us a bit of support
>about a dozen 10th Mtn and a TACP from their AF
>Run like mad a bit more over hill and mountain, really impressed the airforce dude keeps up
Things get worse, the 10th Mtn picks up some intel from their guys, there's a meet up happening
>Big convoy coming in from the Paki side
>At least another 40-50 guys + twice as many donkeys carrying cargo
>There is no legit cargo
>We do some spitballing on our maps for course-heading and figure roughly at their rate cross country, where they will meet up
>Plan will be that my team + AF dude will come in from the south and block the east way
>Americans will come in from the north and picket the western path into Afghan
>We put in a lot more legging it and we're pretty fricked by this stage but sort of manage to get into situ 'good enough' for an hour sleep and start they start filtering in
>Sort of not exactly comfortable with being outnumbered 5-1
>There is no chance of anyone else, we're not in the world no more
>TACP has 'a solution' but it requires timing
cont
>The AF dude reckons, if we can tie them up between 1600-1700 he can get a passing airstrike
>Someone's got some spare bombs, but they'll need a very slim window and drop their ord on the grid
>However, if its not between this time, we're shit out of luck and will have to sort it out ourselves, no one else will come help
Not feeling real great about it, but after some talking to 10th boys, they're relatively confident on delivering enough fire to hold their part of the world alright, but we're sort of in long range patrol rig and not really up to any kind of protracted shit fight. But if we're super annoying for at least an hour we should hold out about that long, but probably have to watch every bullet.
>Afternoon tea time in the mountains, our convoys meet and decide to settle in for a bit
>Smokin da weed, 'miring some donkey butts, they get haggling
>Terry n Friends has about a tonne of opium and hash
>Paki n Chechens look to be sort of criminal types, they've got a lot of guns and ammo- late model Chinese stuff which is pretty hot property in this part of the world
>frick only knows where they found it, but there's plenty of it ranging from guns to grenade launchers
>Eventually gets to go-time
>10th opens up from their end and its a fricking circus from the get go
>We're adding in our pot-shots on the outlying guys and after enough bullshit downrange, sort of thinking I might not die today
>there is shit being blazed into every large rock, bush and donkeys running everywhere
>fricking guys chasing donkeys
>random fricking fire into the sides of the valley faces
>we even got people not sure if they are supposed to be shooting each other
Apart from the random 'what the frick factor' we're not inflicting exactly great amounts of casualties and if they get an actual bead on us, they will get fire superiority on us and that wont end well
This bullshit goes on for a good half hour until TACP lets us know its going to be close
>2 x 500 pounders go in
cont
>Pools closed!
>Anyone managing not to get wrecked, gets shot and we stumble in to do the BDA
>Fricking smoke, donkey meat, dead-uns and shit everywhere
>Like doing a BDA on a bipolar woman's cat litter box, god frick my life its a mess
We sort of do a rudimentry count of the gear they're each carrying, any ID's and stuff- suprising amount of what's actually Indian nationals in the mix, about 20 Chechens and a lot of Pakis, there's a few outliers which could have some from basically anywhere from Afghan to Saudi or even North Africa. Add on top there's maybe 800kg of dope of various flavours and a good tonne of guns, grenade launchers and all sorts of things that explode.
Control-det the arms because ain't no one carrying that heavy shit out of here over hill and dale and start the biggest dope fire innafrickinganistan.
I fricked up
>So wanting to get out of here because it smells of bombs, butchery and shit
>I might have got a bit frisky with the fire
>Some wood, some fire starters
>Yeah boi, that's a fire!
>Except, its sort of this ugly browny-grey cloud headed down the valley
>You probably might not want to have much to do with it
>Send runner down the side of the valley in sort of just enough time to let 10th guys on picket know, probably wanna get out of there!
>A couple of them looked a bit buzzed but otherwise ok
I end up about 2 weeks later over their place signing off a whole heap of paperwork with their Major that it Pvt Snuffy and Cpl Benis test positive in a piss-test it was 'Involuntary Exposure'
>So that's how I got some guys really blown out in Aghan, legally
Well, Russians aren't known for their courage. As an aside if not for the hostages Russia took I'd say every asiatic-face churka monkey should have their throats cut.
>someone steals something from you
>trying to get it back is returning evil for evil
>instead you should shake their hand as a brother
lmao the leftist mindset
Da i agree. Am Jonhnny for ohio Oblast Ukraine adn HATO must stop this centless aggression at one.
Why are Ukrainians so unreasonable? They could have put a stop to all this back at the end of February. Instead they decide to go on a murder spree and attack Russia. After such betrayal, it is understandable that Russians demand compensation for their damages and injuries.
bargaining: stage 3 of grief
i think that’s still anger
It's stage 6: moronation
>stop the war
Putin can do it at any time and take his troops across to his borders.
"I robbed you, why you mad, you should make peace with me robbing you and hug it out."
Russia doesn't have the capability to go on an offensive, and Russia isn't going to abandon their defensive lines for pointless land that they'll never be able to hold.
There's a reason Russia is playing defensively in Kherson, they've given up on Odessa.
And without Odessa there is no reason to keep going
>Russia doesn't have the capability to go on an offensive, and Russia isn't going to abandon their defensive lines for pointless land that they'll never be able to hold.
pretty sure they do have the capacity this is not like kiev where they blow up the dam to stop the russiansthey do not have the same luxury here
>wake up
>screeching everywhere that ukrainian counteroffensive failed(without a single proof), ukraine has to negotiate because reasons, muh civilians, ect
Seems like ukrainian counteroffensive has been extremely succesful if vatniks are panicking this much

Why is China making America look so badass?
>ect
etc, short for et cetera.
>try to genocide ukrainians at least ten times in different occasiosn
>how is russia abuser
lol
>Russia
no such thing
Russia: invading ukraine
Ukraine: Not invading russia
this really isnt complicated.
The way this shilling is going they must have reached Crimea or something
>whatabout
lol
>not allowed to compare like with like
Not really if you want to argue instead of subverting
Ukraine is the real Ruthenia, not the one with capital in Moscow.
every time you see a "Russian" that acts like complete subhuman its probably the CIA
Damn, I didn't realize that CIA has manpower of 144 million
I was referring to that butthole whos denying the holodomor few rows up, hes too moronic to be an actual Russian, its the CIA pretending
I'm sorry to say, but I meet people like him daily.
t. Russian outside of Russia, but still somehow surrounded by vata
can anyone stop the CIA?
no one can stop CIA being moronic on the internet, but if you point it out enough times they might stop because people get smart
>no one can stop
>but if you point it out enough times they might stop
You just contradicted yourself in the same line. Literally the same thought. How is it you're not going insane from cognitive dissonance, the tension resulting from trying to believe two contradictory things at the same time.
Or has /misc/ or living in Russia mind broken you to such an extent that you're comfortable with such insanity?
NTA but making someone stop doing X and someone stopping X of their own volition aren't the same thing but i enjoyed your autistic outburst anon
It's already over. We should just surrender, dude.
JFK tried to stop them
Bane?
The United States didn't respond to the dust bowl by starving an ethnic minority to death.
A clear demonstration of just how weak America is.
>muscovites think they are a real country
lol, lmao even
Literally nothing of value would be lost if everything east of Smolensk get nuked
> American Dust Bowl
We nearly had feral hippos because of that
So how far would they have to push before Putin decides to push the big red button?
since they have said they won't use nukes unless the state is threatened, we can even kill Putin before they use nukes, because Putin isn't necessary to the state existing
Not in his mind
thats not his call once hes in pieces
If he survives an attack he could do it
Or he could just ape out (further) before it gets to that stage
Unlikely. While assassinations are all part of the game, targeting heads-of-state with military weapons is generally taboo. Also, strongmen like Putin usually keep a lid on much nastier shit. It all depends on whether the West deems getting rid of Putin to be worth the ensuing chaos. Better the devil you know and all that. I honestly think that glowBlack folk would much prefer Putin to stay in power and allow Russia to continue deteriorating after getting repulsed from Ukraine.
>targeting heads-of-state with military weapons is generally taboo
shouldn't be, in a democracy, our leaders are less valuable than in a dictatorship, we can afford to trade them one for one longer than they do
The parlamentarians voting to go to war and the generals advocating for it should be forced to lead the first charge
this. putin is a russian nationalist lolcow but hes a complete cuck, keeps up the "special military operation nothing happening" LARP and he and his clique are hilariously incompetent, they also promote societal relations that are unfavorable towards the military (see how vets get treated there)
If an actual military dictatorship from junior officers (aka the non-gerontocracy shills) took hold, Russia would be at least 2x more competent after a bit of purging and reorganization, ala 1941-1942
Didn't the fricking FSB try to kill Zelensky multuple times and got caught? Get the frick out of here.
what ukraine claims has the equal validity as what russia claims
FSB got caught trying to blow up buildings IN RUSSIA so even though what he says isn't all that implausible
but its not an invasion
its a SPECIAL delivery
>Russia built Ukraine
Ukraine predates Russia a country that has only existed for 30 years longer than St.Augustine Florida. As far as Novgorad one of Russia's predecessors.....
>Chronicles also stated that the Novgorodians paid tribute to the Prince of Kiev by 1113. Some time after this, the administration of the principality seemed to have matured.
Kind of embarrassing isn't it?
>tfw you’re now reminded that St. Augustine, Florida is older than Russia
Top fricking kek thanks for the reminder, I completely forgot this as a kid
>American Dust Bowl genocide of white farmers as well?
Not all of the farmers were white (one of the most famous pictures of the time is actually of a native woman). That aside the country wasn't taking what little food they had and shipping it to blacks in Georgia.
>oinkrainians still think they can invade a pro-russian city
How naive...
>oinkrainians
ACK my morale
still think they can invade a pro-russian city
>posts a pig faced Russian man who probably fricks pigs
a pig faced Russian man who probably fricks pigs
Not a russian, but a finnish russian shill who changed his Twitter handle from Dosentti to Dozentti as soon as the invasion started. So yeah that kind a sperg.
Kherson had Anti-Occupation protests well into the war.
The only bit of Ukraine worth having is the Donbass and that was built by Britons.
>zelensky provokes russia into an open war
thats not even laughable at this point they only held for so long because of the guerilla tactics and now they want to go on a all out war?
on the other hand why liveuamap is shown areas near mykolaiv as liberated? when did the russians ever went that close to that city?
This post is extremely low quality

An offensive during trench warfare is by definition not a pitched battle.
Bong updates are more interesting now something is happening. Why don't the Yanks release this style of update?
>Why don't the Yanks release this style of update?
Probably as the UK started doing it first and there is diminishing returns from doing the same thing twice. It's unlikely that the US would say anything different anyway.
It does appear like the UK has taken a lead with influence ops and behind the scenes politicking to keep western unity up. As they are doing well at that the US is best served by supporting that effort rather than replicating it.
Also the fact that brits have always been the leading force at espionage in russia since the cold war
test
I know you just renamed the filename to get (You)'s but Crimea was a English colony and Donbass' major city was made by a Welshman
Crimea is rightful Greek clay

You kept trying the make other people "Russian" at gunpoint for 70+ years.
>"sellout Gorbachev"
Butthurt much, snowflake vatnik?
>"...that anyone even thought of the two as separate entities"
It went //back// to being 2 seperate entities the instant the Soviet Union imploded. Because Ukraine voted on that (because "sellout Gorbachev" "allowed" them to vote). 87% voted for independence even in the most heavily "Russified" parts of Crimea.
>" to keep Ukraine ignorant and poor."
The average Ukranian has a much better standard of living than the average Russian. Hence why flush toilets and washing machines are like holodecks and replicators to a vatnik.
>Hence why flush toilets and washing machines are like holodecks and replicators to a vatnik.
Topkek
>You kept trying the make other people "Russian" at gunpoint for 70+ years.
Arguably almost 500 years as it started with the Tsardom of Russia as before the areas were the Grand Duchy of Moscow, 4 Khanates and one Horde. Your average "russian" is some slavic/finno-ugric/mongoloid hybrid convinced they're some single ethnicity.
>70+ years
Try 200+
And before that, they were still busy killing the real Russians so they can claim the name for themselves, or stealing from all their neighbors.
An Azov pow, lost over 100 lbs in 3 months

Damn vatniks even stealing gains
Imagine documenting your warcrimes and then presenting them to the world, and then being surprised when everyone is disgusted and calls you a subhuman/
>The Russian people will be punished for supporting this shit any day now, you'll see!
War Crimes are literally a meme. The victors don't have to worry about it, and if Putin and his entourage were to off themselves after their loss, nothing would come of it. Likely, leaders would go on about the need to 'unite' and forget the past and move on with the future. The same reason we hold back on sanctions is to 'not harm' the Russian people. (Even if they are partially or fully responsible). The Nuremburg trials were a one off that are unlikely to be repeated.
>War Crimes are literally a meme
moron
>and if Putin and his entourage were to off themselves after their loss, nothing would come of it.
You realize that the entire country is the one that gets penalties applied to it when they lose, right? It doesn't matter if Putin and everyone close to him died, Russia itself would get penalties on top of whatever rebuilding payments would go to Ukraine as punishment.
not if we just agree to vivisect the ringleaders on live TV and get it over it
Every russian deserves death
>"An Azov pow, lost over 100 lbs in 3 months"
Hell of sales pitch for a diet plan. Unfortunately, it requires moving to Russia.
Funny thing. He's currently eating better than most Russian Soldiers...and perhaps better than most Russian Citizens.
I don't understand why you Black folk keep bragging about this shit.
Do you think it makes you look tough that you can brutalize a man when you've got him disarmed, outnumbered, and held in captivity? It doesn't take strength to torture a prisoner, just a lack of humanity.
>Putin is restoring what is rightfully Russian
Serfdom, oppression, poverty, famine, corruption, isolation... Yes, rightfully, Russians deserve no better than to bathe in their own shit.
Why does Russia continue to use the Military District system? The US abandoned District/Departments back in the 1800s.

>Twitter is [..] form of communication [..]
false, its a digital white noise generator
this, twitter hasn't changed in over a decade, except for more rage
Really removes your faith in humanity doesn't it?
is the main form of communication now. Deal with it, caveman.
Grug smash puny internet
>the CIA is digging in its claws deep to try to keep Ukraine ignorant and poor.
> poor
Every American ally has a higher standard of living than you lmao
No-one sent border guards to stop the fleeing Midwest farmers with lethal force. No-one confiscated the remaining food from the Dust Bowl and shipped it to Upstate New York. The US poured cash, food, and scientific research into the area immediately, trying desperately to reverse it, and then when they found the cause they fixed it instead of calling the locals homosexuals who deserved to die. Also, and this is a very important also, the US did not send in secret police to depopulate random villages with large numbers of totally naturally-occuring .3 inch embolisms and brain haemorrhages. Nor did they hand select East Coasters to move into the territory vacated by said third of an inch oopsies.
It is in no way comparing like for like.
No. Simply because the counter-offensive as such isn't happening. If Ukraine massed large numbers of troops for a pitched battle, they'd be artied into oblivion.
>Polish analyst Jarosław Wolski claims UKR seems to be using limited forces and aiming for much more limited goals than officially stated.
"What's with the offensive?
At the moment UKR used at least 4 brigades so around 20 battalions. Perhaps more forces are in action, but I can't see them (OPSEC limits OSINT).
RUS forces on the western bank: 28-32 BTGs
There is an apparent parity of forces, RUS would have to be extremely demoralized or weakened to "break". Additionally RUS has a full army south of the river. That's a powerful force.
What is happening at the moment then? IMHO we're dealing with the URK operation to preempt a planed RUS offensive in the region and which is another part of psychological operation aiming to lower discipline or even induce panic among RUS forces west of Dnieper. Local attacks + massed HIMARS strikes + PSYOPS.
I'd love to be wrong and witness throwing RUS to the other side of Dnieper, but in my estimation chances for that are close to zero. Especially since even a week ago a preparations to a major RUS operation in the region (and in Donbas) could be seen. That might be an explanation for this "offensive" - that being a skillful preemptive strike to force engagement of additional forces on this axis which RUS will then lack elsewhere and/or to change plans for the relocation of the RUS 3rd Army Corp and other units. Either way I advice caution to at least Friday."
Wolski is a homosexual who parrots ru telegrams, hes been wrong about practically everything
>UKR used at least 4 brigades
No chance these hohol morons engaged 4 brigades in this facebook offensive. They can't fly, and their artillery is a small fraction of what's being thrown at them.
This faux offensive is a psyop, for the rubes to swallow.
The 'it's propaganda' narrative doesn't hold water for a number of reasons:
1. The average Ukrainian has already made up their mind on the question of Russian occupation. They want them out of their lands. Whether that takes one year or ten years is an irrelevant question, populations can wait centuries. Look at Greece, it still wants Constantinople.
2. International military observers have some of the best spy satellites in the world and know exactly what is going on. You simply cannot lie to them, and a failed offensive is worse than none at all.
3. The general public on Twitter has no relevancy on this war whatsoever. Even if a vast majority disapproved and thought Russia should totally annex all of Eastern Europe, they don't get a vote in how the military of Ukraine is run or how much aid NATO sends. Wars are not won by arguments on /k/ and twitter.
4. The bridges being targeted isn't propaganda, and the attrition the Russians are suffering isn't propaganda either. Ukraine has the manpower glut, not Russia.
5. Ukraine has gone radio silent. If this was for the propaganda, Ukraine would be livestreaming it.
When will Russia recruit tigers for the special military operation
4 brigades would be around 1500 men for UA, wouldn't it? That's belieavable.
No. You're actually moronic.
