Could be a psyop to get West Taiwan to respond so we can get some EZ intel on them. I mean think about it. Why announce anything until you have already landed. They could have snuck her in and had the meeting already and only broadcast the recording of it only after she had already left if we just wanted to get a photo op.
Probably because she b***hed out when she heard China was making threats and other figures in the government and military that actually understand politics rather than using it as a tool to enrich themselves explained to her how bad America would look if they were visibly spooked by China.
1. The idea of her going in the first place was a stupid idea and never should have been mooted
2. China making threats against the US makes it so backing down would set a bad precedent, so now it has to go ahead even if it was a stupid idea in the first place

Having worked with them on pic related, I wouldn't actually be concerned. What a lot of people don't know is that the rate of failure during testing for Osprey was expected and matched production forecasts (yes, there is an expectation that people will die during aircraft testing, get over it, this isn't Hollywood) .
Not that people don't know that, you could file a FOIA and get those numbers of course if they're not already public. No, what I'm referring to is the psyop about tarring them as unreliable flying coffins. I think people would be surprised about how...deliberate...that misinfo is. nah chief, after years of chinese coercison and threats on their neighbours and anyone who as much criticises them. A simple trip to Taiwan will slap them back to reality
Basically we learned from our mistake in Ukraine. You can't appease dictators by not giving too much support to places they want to conquer. We tried that in Ukraine when we should have been arming them heavily since the first invasion in 2014. Now we know China is going to invade Taiwan we have to give them full support.
The support Ukraine got over the past eight years definitely shows. Access to NATO intel, advisors and training...and only recently weapons. Putin didn't just walk into a trap (where Russia losses were always going to be high, but the question of Ukraine holding was up in the air) He tripped over his shoelaces and went face first into a bear trap.
Xi would be doing the same. Against an island which has been readying itself for decades. Of course Taiwan won't win a war against China by itself but it creates the stage for heavy losses for the attacker. Dragging them into a conflict they cannot just walk away from and where the West will play whatever role it deems necessary.

That's the point, we absolutely are. It's just that the CCP has to twist everything that happens on the world stage as some sort of sinophobia against poor little china
>never been to China chama....
The Chinese hate everyone who is not Chinese. And most of all they hate the other Chinese because they are too much or not enough Chinese. It's true.
Wrong, they hate the Chinese brand as well. Even Chinese people in China admit that they would rather buy products that are not made in China if given the option. The only reason they don't is only out of obligation or fear of not appearing Chinese enough to their Chinese friends.
Ok, I meant loyalty not in a consumer sense though. All you said can be true and many still defend China socially. That is the loyalty I talk of.
Anonymous
Loyalty is when you trust your friends and family who have differing opinions to still have your back because they are truly your friends and family in the end. In current year China you can't trust anyone even your own brother and sister. These are the people who made a legal inheritance system which incentivizes family infighting. What you have is a culturally bankrupt country where it's everyone for themselves. You are encouraged to show your loyalty because you fear that doing less may make you look less loyal than the next guy on the chopping block.

That and China is likely the only power they feel they have or are a part of. But yes, loyalty is not the best word to use there. More desperate attachment then anything.

The USA was... Who the frick do you think funded agrarian china into what it is today? The frick?
How easy could have the USA smacked China with an embargo and with the soviet union at their throat they would probably be India tier by now.
Even now the USA is heavily invested in China, that didn't come out of necessity.
USA built China from nothing just on the basis of trade.
As for being "nice," look what's happened with playing along with russia.
My assumption is if they are flying Pelosi into Taiwan, now of all times, there's a good reason to that the general public isn't aware of.
China is just a shittier version of Bush-era USA, isn't it? This is the same sort of autism you'd get in and from US around '05 if you took the piss out of the troops, Iraq war and or Bush.
China is, thanks to their culture of theft over innovation, about a decade behind the US, for good or ill. Take, for example, the housing crisis that's about to buttfrick their banking system. It's like '08 on steroids.

They're on the verge of a bigger economic crisis than the US was during the 2008 GFC. If it's unfixable Xi could be desperate for a conflict so he can blame US sanctions for any economic collapse.
Regardless of who kills Nancy Pelosi, both sides will be scrambling to take credit for it in order to garner what will likely be complete support from the American populace.
>"DOD states that China's claim that they were responsible for the death of Speaker Pelosi is yet another example of China's insidious use of fake news to foster division. In reality Pelosi's plane was shot down by a USN fighter aircraft, the pilot of which (who shall remain anonymous) had to be chosen by lottery due to the number of volunteers. The USAF is currently malding over the fact that it wasn't them."
Poor China thinking it can tell other nations what they can and cannot do.
All they had to do was stay quiet and things may have gone their way, but they couldn't resist saber rattling and crying like a child about how "If you don't give me what I want, then I will break this!" Well, now's the time to lose. Either through shutting up, or by breaking it and then getting a spanking.
Shoot down her plane and start a war, or do nothing and prove all you do is talk shit. Either way it's a win/win for America.
China and Russia seem to have lost sense of how the US gracefully got into a superpower status. Instead it's like a fricking child jumping from 8 years old to 21 and armed without undergoing any of the intermediate.
The way China is behaving we're either going to have a war with them or they're going to collapse. So at this point while I wouldn't want a war I'd rather we get it over sooner than alter.
Exactly. It's obvious what the end conclusion of these types of things are. In the past, the world let dictators bully others until it came to a massive war where the aggressor had the head start. Russia blew its load early and isn't going to recover, China is on the verge of doing the same (and even if they don't, they have other problems that will take their toll in the future.)
The only worry I have is if/when a war does kick off, the losing side is going to pop a nuke. And it can get very, very, bad if it escalates from that.
That is something I expect to happen. Or brinkmanship the same as Russia is doing. It's blatantly obvious to be the Chinese MO same as it'd be the Russian one >Take territory as fait accompli >Declare said territory is your indigenous home territory and thus any invasion of it is registered the same as if you were invading the internationally recognized borders (IE trying to take a Chinese fake island is the same as trying to invade Shanghai).
There's no good endings to this situation which is the fricked thing and why I can be cavalier about the idea of war. Because it's going to hurt badly no matter when it happens and I don't see any chance China will take a chill pill. So unless the US is better positioned in 2032 I'd rather the US confront the chinks now than later.
Eh, the U.S. played it smart. Effectively Spain couldn't fight the Caribbean and the Phillippines at the same time during the war. By the time Dewey arrived, the Spanish fleet there was barely anything formidable and were on their last legs as some were even relocated to the Caribbean.
>$20 mil
you should be proud- that's pretty expensive compared to the Louisiana Purchase. france sold the US nearly half of its current territory, as well as parts of what is now Canada (that were later traded to the UK as part of a border-straightening treaty) for a whopping $15mil.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louisiana_Purchase
Your point and the spain anon are right to an extent but I see it beyond foreign policy and more a sense of how you see yourself in the world. The wrong approach of a superpower is entitlement and demanding your place in the sun, demanding respect, demanding and demanding and demanding. I fricking hate invoking pithy quotes from media but the perfect shorthand is that shit in ASOIAF of >"I'm the king" >'A man who has to say he is the king is not much of a king'
A country that demands to be treated like a superpower is a kid demanding to be treated like an adult. That's what you see Russia or China doing, when if China had waited (and survived its systemic issues) it could have graduated into true superpower status in 10-20 more years. Their tantrums instead scared off everyone around them - rather like if the US had been bullying and harassing the Spanish French Portugese English Germans Russians Japanese everyone in the world in 1890-1920 instead of mostly just the Spanish. The US demands impotently on homosexualry or democracy or trade deals as well but it doesn't do so with the shrill histrionics of an impotent smolderingly vainglorious people.
Russia is >Do not do thing or we nuke you we bury you we destroy you [hysterical]
China is >Do not do trivially minor thing or we economically embargo you, we castrate your business opportunities here, we destroy your ship and major political figure [hysterical]
US is >Do not do thing or various parts of our establishments will b***h and whine about you and other parts of our establishments or populace will be buddy buddy with you [half disinterested]
I'd say exceptions but even with a third rail like Israel you can say mean nasty things about our leash-holder and not get ground into dust by a screeching US government/public.
destroy your plane*. Slip of the tongue. You see this vainglorious sensitivity with all kinds of impotent bullies though. Arabs do the same shit with insulting muhammad. Nothing's as dangerous as someone whose inflated ego does not commiserate with their actual reality. And that's the seminal case of China or Russia today and what, at least looking back, the US lacked back then. We had imperialists aplenty but at least off historical records the only case of >Inflated egos [not] commiserate with actual reality hysterical with rage when confronted with said reality
Are our neocon/neoliberals of the 90s-2010s.

>The Taiwan Travel Act (H.R. 535, Pub.L. 115–135 (text) (PDF)) is an Act of the United States Congress. Passed on February 28, 2018, it was signed into law by President Donald Trump on March 16, 2018.[1] As a follow-up to the Taiwan Relations Act, the bill allows high-level officials of the United States to visit Taiwan and vice versa. >The law is considered a substantial upgrade to Taiwan–United States relations, making them official though still sub-diplomatic. As such, the law was harshly criticized by the government of the People's Republic of China in Beijing (which had formally protested the bill through ambassador Cui Tiankai, demanding it not pass) for violating the One-China principle, which holds that Taiwan is an inalienable sovereign part of China. >In July 2019, Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen used this act to travel freely to New York City, New York and Denver, Colorado while in transit to countries in the Caribbean that still have official diplomatic relations with Taiwan. Before the act was passed, Taiwanese presidents usually could only meet local Texas government officials in Houston, Texas, which is where they could get on transit flights to the Caribbean and South America.[2] Tsai was the first Taiwanese president to visit UN ambassadors of Taiwan's diplomatic allies in New York since the passage of the Taiwan Relations Act in 1979. In New York, she also met with a U.S. congressional delegation headed by U.S. House Foreign Affairs Chairman Eliot Engel (D-NY) and Ranking Member Michael McCaul (R-TX). In Denver, she met with the governor of Colorado, some U.S. congressmembers and mayors from the local area and visited the National Center for Atmospheric Research and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.[3][4]

Chinks are so moronic it's funny
Same thing with Russia, if Putin just waited everything would have went his way
Why are eastoids like this
Because both nations were on the verge of self-created ruin until another power invaded and the West stepped in to support the defender.
The PRC never would have gotten off the ground without the Japanese fighting the Nationalists. After the war, the Communists came out and swept up.
Stalin's USSR was strong but by 1940 it was about to be at war with France and Britain, until Germany knocked France out and then invaded East. Leaving Britain with the need to keep the Soviets in the war.
People in Russia and China perceived these mercies/timings as their own victories and concluded they are always in the right. However, when they revert to their hostile natures in a modern world that isn't embroiled in war, they find out that few states are accepting of their antics. And as in the past, when a nation is invaded for little reason, many side with the defender.
No we haven't. Our new PM is a c**t but he hasn't done that yet. Wouldn't be surprised if he does though, but I don't think it would actually matter in practice - we'd be at war anyway
Anthony Albanese literally dodged the question. That's 'no'. >Will Australia defend Taiwan? >We're not dealing with hypotheticals, as have Australian governments taken that position in the past
He then went onto say he respects and Australia recognises the One China policy.
France has always been pretty dodgy to us. Right after the American Revolution when we sent some diplomats to their country, they insulted us by only sending extremely low ranking adjutants to talk to the American delegation who demanded a bribe to let the American envoys speak to anyone more important and threatened military action if we didn't pay up. America refused and there was a small scale undeclared navel war over the next few years.
In more recent history, France basically blackmailed the US into getting involved in Vietnam when it became clear they couldn't hold them anymore. France pissed and moaned about how they weren't getting any help like Korea did less than a decade earlier and even threatened to flip to the Soviet sphere. So, the US (and the Aussies) grudgingly got involved, with JFK really trying to keep it low with just special forces and other clandestine deals. When he was killed LBJ went full moron and started sending Americans en masse; France, safely out of the situation, condemned America escalating the war they had wanted us to fight in the first place.
I could go on. Don't get me wrong, I think France is a valuable ally, but they have a very long history of stabbing us in the back.

>France, safely out of the situation, condemned America escalating the war they had wanted us to fight in the first place. >France is a valuable ally, but they have a very long history of stabbing us in the back.
These are the most salient points as it relates to France-US relations. France has always, *always* viewed the US as a utility in their plays at Franco-centric Euro-frickery. It's always been transactional to them, and they love to play up historical ties as a means of barely concealed moral blackmail. I don't despise them, but the idea that they have and have always had our backs is trite and insulting.

He’s not totally wrong about Vietnam. But I think the US is equally to blame for its poor choices. We should have been opposed to the French from the beginning in Vietnam, but the US was too scared of communism in both France and southeast Asia. They couldn’t see that they had the opportunity to turn Ho Chi Minh away from communism — he (and most of the NVA/Viet Cong) were more interested in independence than any particular ideology.

We will never forget how Frogs got in bed with us entirely to spite your arch-nemesis and helped us BTFO those lobsterbacks for the all for the lulz. This is why we don't mind too much having helped save France once, then outright doing the heavy lifting and saving it again 20 years after again. But then there's literally been endless "hon hon hon, wizzout us, zere is non America lolol," with further endless amounts of shit-flinging and condescension for centuries since. A little gratitude for us attempting to clean up France's Indochina debacle at no small cost to ourselves would be nice, but will never happen.
Poles, Worst Koreans and Aussies have been such original homies and so consistently it's actually hilarious.

france has never forgiven the US for the shame of liberating them in ww2.
I don't blame them.
Aus has 25m people total.
Everyone keeps assuming they're this mega powerful nation, but the reality is they've got a population 60% as large as California. They're a fifth as populous as Japan.
They punch above their weight for sure, but there is only so much funding you can divert towards military expenditures and the defense of other countries while still being able to feed your people and maintain your infrastructure.
I assume it's full of nothing but cucked shitposters that can't even own a gun and lost their only international relevance of note in their entire history to a meme animal.
We can own guns, just shit ones. And we joined every war you invited us to last century and a couple you didn't. So enjoy your semi-autos, I'm jealous, but maybe leave your basement once in a while.
please do it, please fricking do it.
I would love nothing more than to see the absolute seething of chicom homosexuals when they do absolutely nothing or finally have a reason to enlist.
All I want are commie tears or blood
chinese will either go quiet or never shut the frick up after pelosi lands and the party does nothing but a fly-by of taiwanese airspace far from her landing craft
here's my idea on how to handle this situation: >get a bunch of American jets to fragrantly violate Chinese airspace >make them perform a a badass airshow directly over Beijing > red white and blue smoke, low flying, sick-ass loop-de-loops, the whole nine yards >tell the ccp that if they so much as scratch one of them, it's war >Xi humiliated, bluff called and the USA proves once and for all they can do whatever the frick they want
i know this might escalate things and result in an all-out nuclear war, but on the other hand it would be really funny
>here's my idea on how to handle this situation: >>Xi humiliated, bluff called and the USA proves once and for all they can do whatever the frick they want
fixed
Pelosi going to Taiwan is a win-win-win all around. Either China calls the bluff and actually heems her and the US has a cancer excised from its government and the entire demtard party has a stain on its record for time immemorial, or China does jack shit frick all and it's a 'Murica fuark ye moment. Honestly the former would probably earn a good bit of support from a large chunk of the US voter base which makes me think it may actually happen, even if they get shitdicked as penance. Both countries are desperate for a war right now too since both economies are in the relative shitter and both ruling parties need a big win, I could entirely see her being the sacrificial lamb especially with all the insider trading bullshit scandals she's been responsible for blowing up everyone's money making ability which is the entire reason why half the people in the senate or house are even fricking there to begin with.
my favourite has been the many times Biden has unmistakably pledged military support to Taiwan and his chud white house aides keep trying to retract his statements
Allies are paying close attention, Countries Like Australia, Japan, Philippines, if the USA flip flops, it's going to be hard to sell in Australia a tough on China approach (it's biggest economic partner) as they spread in the south china sea.
China has talked big game, state media outlets all have referenced officials saying ''Shoot down'', if they allow Pelosi to land without issue they will lose face, these news have circulated within china, Just 2 hours a go CGTN was tweeting it again.
She always disliked and was vocal against the CCP and it's probably the one pulling the strings anyways Biden is a carcass, b***h is 46th½, USA is sending the defacto president to Taiwan, probably cuz invasion is imminent, there has to be a damn good reason.
>USA is sending the defacto president to Taiwan, probably cuz invasion is imminent
maybe i am a schizo but could this be legitimate strategy? if the USA knew of an imminent attack on taiwan would it not be a high-IQ play to put a senior official there so china knows the USA will be involved?
Russia taking Ukraine, China taking Taiwan, Serbia taking Kosovo and US will be given Cuba as comforting reward.
Wolf is full and the sheep is whole, everyone is happy.
So, either we get WW3 or a really spicy set of government documents (and resulting pile of totally-not-Tom-Clancy books) get declassified in a few decades?
Isn't this exactly why they put so much into the DF17 , hypersonics can take out carriers ?
And we know for a fact these are hypersonic, they just tested one off the coast of taiwan, Hypersonic nig, If these are as manoeuvrable as chinks claim, the USA has no counter measures or weapons with similar capability, Hypersonics are probably a decade away for the USA.
I know we all joke about the chinks, but Imagine China launches 200 DF17 from all over Chinese mainland and their south china sea islands in which they've been sneaking in material for a while, and in a single day Sink the entire CSG 5, just legit Wipes carrier strike group 5 off the earth, no survivors type of shit, eliminates the ability to project force into Asia into the USA can move more CSG into the area, and would they? after that? do nukes immediately fly or do chinks win
>imagine if China Numbah Wan >imagine if US dumb and stupid and never considered how to deal with faster missiles >imagine if hypersanic missile was magically invisible to both radar and thermals >imagine if AWACS and spy sats did not exist
No, I don't think I will entertain your delusions.
You havent been paying attention have you. Tesla could light a field of lightbulbs wirelessly. That was over 100 years ago. You ever see ball lightning Spainanon?
C'mon put it together. No Chinese or Russian nukes will be getting through. Now you know why the US didnt waste time with hypersonics until now. They are already obsolete. Ayyy lmao.
>do nukes immediately fly or do chinks win
No and no.
This isn't how wars work.
Sinking a carrier group would just be the beginning or the conflict.
The reality is that China is very dependent on globalization which is 100% dependent on the US navy maintaining the security of the global shipping lanes.
So an immediate response from USA would likely be a blockade of the south china sea, sending subs to destroy the Chinese navy and firing tomahawks from subs into key targets in China.
I know we all joke about the chinks, but Imagine China launches 200 DF17 from all over Chinese mainland and their south china sea islands in which they've been sneaking in material for a while, and in a single day Sink the entire CSG 5, just legit Wipes carrier strike group 5 off the earth, no survivors type of shit, eliminates the ability to project force into Asia into the USA can move more CSG into the area, and would they? after that? do nukes immediately fly or do chinks win
yeh bro it's all chinknesium that will fall apart instantly.
keep that up as we fall into irrelevance, fricking mongrel attitude right there.
what's wrong with looking at the capabilities of you soon to be enemy you fricking idiot, there are american sources for their Hypersonic capabilities, it would have taken u 5 seconds on google, and by sources I mean literal american officials testifying in front of congress and explaining the need america has to achieve hypersonic as they believe china has.
>mean literal american officials testifying in front of congress and explaining the need america has to achieve hypersonic as they believe china has.
i agree peter cadillac of idaho oblast, we are not making the progress similar to the programme of saddam
>tricking Congress into funding Mach 20 scramjets because the Chinese made a conventional clone of the Pershing II is the same as being beaten into space by the Soviets
the absolute state of chang copers
>Hypersonics are probably a decade away for the USA.
You do know that the US has had hypersonic missiles since the 60's right? Attaching a rocket booster to a cruise missile isn't that hard.
Imagine if China had 50+ Warships less than 1000 nautical miles off the west coast of the US.
US government says China is agressive because they build those artificial islands but in the meanwhile they have easily 100 billion dollars worth of hardware parked right next to chinks
>steal land from neighbors, then claim it's really yours all along >spend decades trying to subvert and steal from foreigners >act like inner-city Chicagoans on foreign-affairs matters >China dindu nuffin! We wuz good boyz!
N
fun fact, 70-80% of China's oil consumption is imports, most of that passing through the Strait of Malacca (where the USS Ronald Reagan is currently positioned)
Served on it. Massive piece of shit, at least that's how those c**ts in San Diego left it when we picked it up on CVN 220. George Washington was INFINITELY better, I just wouldn't be caught dead in a sisterfrick shithole like Virginia.
The big irony? The ship named after the president that fricked over blacks the hardest is being fricked over the worst of them all by black mold. Hi-fricking-larious.
The channel between taiwan and west taiwan is probably so fricking loaded with INSANE underwater wunderwaffe and nuclear mines or some other psycho shit that hypersonics don't even really come into it for me, frankly
>Sit there with your finger in your pocket threatening to shoot when the other guy clearly has a holster with a gun
Brilliant idea. Up there with removing crucial parts of an ecosystem.
>launch nuke at US over some boomer visiting Taiwan >gets shot down just after liftoff by an SM-3 >US retaliates by wiping coastal China (i.e., where everything relevant in the country is situated, along with about half the population) off the map >free swim lessons for 250 million commies, in keeping with their ideology
>>mfw fricking up the chinks has bipartisan support >han genocide now
every american war fought against asiatics has resulted in a blood-feud tier hatred of them beyond their graves. every nip every asiatic every zip. maybe we're the next iteration and we get to hate chinks
We are the most powerful military force in the history of man. Every fight is our fight. Because what happens over here, matters over there. We don't get to sit one out. Learning to use the tools of modern warfare is the difference between the prospering of your people, and utter destruction. We can't give you freedom. But we can give you the know-how to acquire it. And that, my friends, is worth more than a whole army base of steel. Sure it matters who's got the biggest stick, but it matters a helluva lot more who's swinging it. This is a time for heroes. A time for legends. I don't know what language you speak, I cannot find your country on a map, and I couldn't tell you a damn thing about your culture, but I will defend with my life your right to be free from Russian and Chinese savages. History is written by the victors. Let's get to work.
The big brain plan would be to have the dried up old c**t stuffing around SE-Asia for the month on wide-loops 'mmaaaaybe' going to Taiwan >Then... maybe not today >But maybe tomorrow! >Maybe
If you can't shoot em (legally) its perfectly fine to drive them to madness by distraction
pol jannies are fricking moronic, they banned for 3 days because i posted prolapsed anus, i hope frickin china goes into war and destroying this moronic world!!!
Is being banned on /misc/ so unbearable?
Just turn your modem/router/whatever off, wait a bit and turn it back on. Or reset it.
On your phone you can use airplane mode but I'm sure you already know this >Inb4 i get banned for this
This shit makes no sense. Why do they keep flip flopping?
Could be a psyop to get West Taiwan to respond so we can get some EZ intel on them. I mean think about it. Why announce anything until you have already landed. They could have snuck her in and had the meeting already and only broadcast the recording of it only after she had already left if we just wanted to get a photo op.
US never said that she will visit Taiwan.
2. China making threats against the US makes it so backing down would set a bad precedent, so now it has to go ahead even if it was a stupid idea in the first place
>it has to go ahead
Do you think they will actually kill her?
We can only pray
Isn't she escorted by F-35s and whatnot?
yes
Yeah they're going to have a hard time
Through God, all things are possible.
May that false catholic harlot sink headfirst into the Taiwan strait
Not at all. It would be the end of China and possibly the world once they lose the war.
Well if I was her I doubt I would go. Situation is too hot for my liking.
I'm in the 'delenda est' category, so I'd not only go, I'd go in an Osprey just to bait it.
Fate of the world in the hands of Osprey reliability... that would be intense as frick.
Especially when you compare it with anything PLAF is running.
>I think people would be surprised about how...deliberate...that misinfo is
Why? Literally what is there to gain from making people think one of your aircraft is a piece of shit?
Mabye that you need more funding to improve it? I am a brainlet though, take it with a grain of salt
Demoralization.
>what is there to gain from making people think one of your aircraft is a piece of shit?
Would anyone develop a copy of a piece of shit to add it to their own arsenal?
And that's why you will never be remembered. Imagine thinking a situation is too hot because some fat chang is seething on Twitter. Its too hot when you are in a room with guns drawn and point at people. Not seething online.
>The idea of her going in the first place was a stupid idea and never should have been mooted
nah chief, after years of chinese coercison and threats on their neighbours and anyone who as much criticises them.
Dragging them into a conflict they cannot just walk away from and where the West will play whatever role it deems necessary.
reminder "hurting the feelings of the chinese people" is an actual thing the chinese government gets upset at. any and all criticism is hurting the feelings of the chinese people by the way
why cant we just be nice to the chinese
Because they don't want to be nice to us.
That's the point, we absolutely are. It's just that the CCP has to twist everything that happens on the world stage as some sort of sinophobia against poor little china
>poor little china
>also: frick you Japan we will nuke you
They had such a sweet deal, and they couldent help themselves.
Is anything they do original?
>never been to China chama....
The Chinese hate everyone who is not Chinese. And most of all they hate the other Chinese because they are too much or not enough Chinese. It's true.
>hate
Yes, this is all true. The only thing they don't hate is China, the state corporation. Very brand loyal these folk are.
We were so nice to them that we saved them from being serfs for the Emperor and didn't sever trade with them for picking the ideology of our rivals.
They are subhumans.
The Chinese can’t even be nice to themselves
We were.
The issue is that China doesn't want to be nice to us.
>why can't we just be nice to the insects?
We can't be nice to the Chinese for the same reason we can't just be nice to trannies. Communists hate reality.
The funny thing is...is anyone really going to feel like China did America anything other than a favor?
With how often this chink is trying to get into my steam account, unsuccessfully, they don't deserve niceties. They deserve the sword and to be shown no quarter
For me it's apparently chinese and russian people trying to get into my facebook account. I have 2 factor and all different passwords on everything so them getting into my shit in any meaningful way is unlikely, but every time I look at my login attempt history and see all the constant almost daily shitloads of failed attempts it scares the shit out of me.
Because they're satanic communists who aren't nice to anyone
The USA was... Who the frick do you think funded agrarian china into what it is today? The frick?
How easy could have the USA smacked China with an embargo and with the soviet union at their throat they would probably be India tier by now.
Even now the USA is heavily invested in China, that didn't come out of necessity.
USA built China from nothing just on the basis of trade.
As for being "nice," look what's happened with playing along with russia.
My assumption is if they are flying Pelosi into Taiwan, now of all times, there's a good reason to that the general public isn't aware of.
Beacuse they'll think of it's as a weakness and will exploit it.

I literally cannot stop kekking.
the feelings of the Chinese people weren't the only parts of them getting hurt at that time
What happened in 2005 and 2012? I don't remember anything big involving China in those years.
Not sure about 2005 but 2012 was the Senkaku Islands kerfuffle if I'm remembering things correctly
2005 was also another anti japanese ape out.
It's like '08 on steroids.

>if Pelosi “really has emergency problems... the People's Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft can provide protection to her plane and let her land at airports in China's Sansha city, Hainan Province in the South China Sea, or other airports in the Chinese mainland, which could provide professional services and assistance.”
In other words they'll shoot her down... why tho, they only have to wait another 20 years for US to completely deteriorate and then do whatever they want.
>they only have to wait another 20 years for US to completely deteriorate

modern totalitarianism like China has all the time in the world, their planning goes for generations in the future unlike in western type of democracies where everything is subjected to feelings, emotions and next election cycle.

US is already in state of decline that started rapidly accelerating around '08 or so. If they waited waited for that long what is another 20 years on grand scale of things.
Why is the US in decline
Hard mode: don't mention trannies
It stopped being country driven by hard science but is now driven by feelings and emotions.
>but is now driven by feelings and emotions.
is Biden's support of Taiwan driven by his feelings and emotions? surely there is no economic reasons whatsoever the USA would engage with Taiwan, it is only to spite the ccp
s*rb spotted

The US banning abortions does make me FEEL proud and EMOTIONALLY elated. Maybe the chinks should take notes
Incels having interest in question of abortions is like 4ch shitposters having interest in world politics.
you fall outside both categories though, unlike all of us
These are the morons that keep whining about the US blowing up children on the other side of the world and yet have no problem killing a child before it's even born
I never said I was pro abortion. It’s just the bans don’t work
So are you a libertarian then?
Just against the concept of bans in general?
yes. access regulation doesnt work. theres countless historical precedents. firearms, alcohol, most drugs, bans only deter the obedient
>bans only deter the obedient
That's like 80 % of people
Ban's are rarely perfect, but they very clearly reduce the total amount of product in circulation.
>>bans only deter the obedient
>That's like 80 % of people
that's naive and simply untrue
Believe it or not, most people aren't the enlightened over-man forging their own destiny.
If you ban something with consistent enforcement, it tends to reduce the amount people use. Especially if you can control the major manufacturing centers of the product which is were we failed with prohibition and the war on drugs.
naive, untrue
you have a very narrow worldview and there is nothing more i can gain from picking your brain
If you think ban's don't work, not ban's are unethical or counter freedom or something, how do you think government should regulate something. Keep in mind that any high taxation acts as a pseudo ban.
>how do you think government should regulate something.
i don't think it's possible for the government to regulate anything
>i don't think it's possible for the government to regulate anything
OSHA exists
The FDA exists and functions rather well, in terms of making sure your eggs don't have salmonella the majority of the time
You views don't seem to reflect reality.
>OSHA exists
Yet tens of thousands of people get hurt and killed on the job every year
>FDA
That's a lobbying money sink and everyone knows it. How else do these experimental medications get approved and 3 years later we find out they cause cancer, heart failure, hormone imbalance, etc, etc.
You used literally the worst examples aside from the DEA and ATF
>And everyone knows it
There's a whistleblower program you could get paid millions for opening up the 'big secret' that only you seem to know. Easiest money in the world, you just have to prove you're not a full of shit loon. I'll wait.
>whistle blowers
Yeah let me threaten the fortunes of billion dollar corporations with 10s of thousands of people at every level of society on their payrole. Doesn't sound very good for my life expectancy.
Pussy.
>Yet tens of thousands of people get hurt and killed on the job every year
>A system is imperfect
>Thus the system doesn't do anything to improve thing at all, because there are gaps
Smooth brain binary thinking 0/10 see me after class.
Enjoying your l.mono in your cheese and e.coli in you meat as well as soon as you are done defunding the FDA
Not even that. The OSHA reps thay tour job sites in response to complaints are deeply corrupt. And are happy to cover their eye with cash and pretend they didn't see anything. That's IF you can get one of them to actually show up.
Without OSHA our factories and workplaces would be more like china. So they can't be completly corrupt
You can thank our Hebrew lawyer friends for that. Every safety measure a company takes is solely to protect themselves from law suits, nothing more, nothing less.
So regulations work then. I dont give a shit why they work only that they do.
Abortion bans don’t work
>makes it harder and more dangerous to abort
>higher chances for roasties who are obsessed about killing babies to die while aborting
I'd say it works
>abortion bans work
so does gun control but you're not ready for that conversation
Abortion isn't a God given right sweety
What a cruel piece of shit your god has to be to make you a 4ch user.
Sweety, i know you REALLY want to kill babies
But won't happen
i don't care if prostitutes prevent themselves from reproduction via abortion, they'll always have ways to do so
And now it's more likely they'll also die while doing it so
i don't care about that either, if you interacted with women you'd think about them less
if you argue prevention of access works then it applies to guns not just abortion, doesn't matter if it's the USA or not
>if you argue prevention of access works then it applies to guns not just abortion
It does work, but I don't care.
Gun rights for me, dead prostitute for thee.
>It does work, but I don't care.

ideological inconsistence and confidence does a /misc/tard make
You can have fun being ideologically consistent, while you obey rules that your enemy ignores and uses against you.
Or you can start actually winning.
And besides it is consistent with my ideology, " What I care about is good, what my enemies care about is bad"
Simple as.
>le ideological warrior
oh, brother!
I see your ideology is consistent with illiteracy considering I stated the exact opposite but ok. Enjoy the coat hangar I guess.
>incoherent seething

>incoherent seething
b***h I am winning. What the frick would I be seething about
Gay marriage is next btw 🙂
why would i care about gay marriage?
Ah, see, found the new guy. See, whenever anybody says 'gay', you're supposed to replace it with 'pedophile'. See the notes we have about 'globalist' and 'Jew'.
We need to make sure we cover down for the pedophiles that run our churches so we don't have to actually examine our ethical foundations. I mean, it means we support the actual rape of children, but hey, as long as we can convince idiots it's the gays fault, we never have to worry about either problem.

If abortion bans don’t work why would anybody bother to protest an abortion ban?
Because they want the moral justification of legality
>If gun control doesn't work why would anybody bother to protest gun control?
it's fine that abortion isn't a constitutional right but you're seemingly unable to comprehend that other people would fight for that right the way you may a constitutional one

China's gonna experience a demographic collapse in 2 or 3 decades too, they need start shit now and they need to be quick about it.
Regardless of who kills Nancy Pelosi, both sides will be scrambling to take credit for it in order to garner what will likely be complete support from the American populace.
My money is on the Raptor
It's blatantly obvious to be the Chinese MO same as it'd be the Russian one
>Take territory as fait accompli
>Declare said territory is your indigenous home territory and thus any invasion of it is registered the same as if you were invading the internationally recognized borders (IE trying to take a Chinese fake island is the same as trying to invade Shanghai).
>China and Russia seem to have lost sense of how the US gracefully got into a superpower status.
This. China and Russia must declare war on Spain.
I'm Filipino and reading about Spain selling us to the U.S. for only $20 million after they lost the war always feels kind of cheap.
Manila Bay is a good benchmark to track how hard the US went on technology to avoid people getting hurt after the Civil War
Well they also outgunned them.
Big stick etc.
Eh, the U.S. played it smart. Effectively Spain couldn't fight the Caribbean and the Phillippines at the same time during the war. By the time Dewey arrived, the Spanish fleet there was barely anything formidable and were on their last legs as some were even relocated to the Caribbean.
>the U.S. played it smart
You are cheap.
>$20 mil
you should be proud- that's pretty expensive compared to the Louisiana Purchase. france sold the US nearly half of its current territory, as well as parts of what is now Canada (that were later traded to the UK as part of a border-straightening treaty) for a whopping $15mil.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louisiana_Purchase
to be fair france (napoleon) was stuck in perpetual wars with the rest of europe at the time and was kinda pressed for more money
spain wasn't exactly rolling around in reals at the time either.
being at war with spain is honestly just a rite of passage into nationhood
To be fair it's direct competitors destroyered themselves twice in the span of 30 years
Your point and the spain anon are right to an extent but I see it beyond foreign policy and more a sense of how you see yourself in the world. The wrong approach of a superpower is entitlement and demanding your place in the sun, demanding respect, demanding and demanding and demanding. I fricking hate invoking pithy quotes from media but the perfect shorthand is that shit in ASOIAF of
>"I'm the king"
>'A man who has to say he is the king is not much of a king'
Russia is
>Do not do thing or we nuke you we bury you we destroy you [hysterical]
China is
>Do not do trivially minor thing or we economically embargo you, we castrate your business opportunities here, we destroy your ship and major political figure [hysterical]
US is
>Do not do thing or various parts of our establishments will b***h and whine about you and other parts of our establishments or populace will be buddy buddy with you [half disinterested]
We had imperialists aplenty but at least off historical records the only case of

Chang, you're the one getting under a blockade
How...exactly...would the CCP enforce a naval blockade on Taiwan, considering that to get a fleet close enough for said blockade to be effective, they'd need to send necessarily hostile warships within Taiwan's territorial waters, which would trigger the Winnie the Poohcalypse?
US just can't make its mind up. Is it ok for country to split like Taiwan from China or LPR/DPR from Ukraine or not?
Sending Spetsnaz-GRU personnel to seize parts of a country is not "declaring independence", moron-kun.
It was not the question debil.

is it okay if a separatist region to split like taiwan from china or chechnya from russia?
It's almost like it isn't about right or wrong? You're almost there anon.

>If CIA glowies crossed into Saint Petersburg and then claimed that it was declaring its independence from Russia, would that be equally acceptable to you
yes because russia is a pitiful nation not worthy of autonomy, but that's why LPR/DPR are not recognized by the west, the situation you described is what russia did in ukraine.
Taiwan is the real China, PRC is the LPR/DPR in this
LPR/DPR is real Ukraine bro.

In Denver, she met with the governor of Colorado, some U.S. congressmembers and mayors from the local area and visited the National Center for Atmospheric Research and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.[3][4]
uh, based?
>Pelosi
Kek, everyone's going to take credit for her untimely accident.
Reminder that Australia has backed out on defending Taiwan. If Taiwan is invaded, it is down to the USA and USA alone.
Won't matter if US ships start taking shots, we'll follow you guys in anyway. We love a good war.
Unironically Australia is historically the closest US ally
Not France?
I don't despise them, but the idea that they have and have always had our backs is trite and insulting.
absolutely moronic post, i don't even know if it's a shitpost

Just hope one of those doesn't crash and gets mistaken for a bomb starting ww3.

What is Pelosi's deal anyways?
She always disliked and was vocal against the CCP and it's probably the one pulling the strings anyways Biden is a carcass, b***h is 46th½, USA is sending the defacto president to Taiwan, probably cuz invasion is imminent, there has to be a damn good reason.
>USA is sending the defacto president to Taiwan, probably cuz invasion is imminent
maybe i am a schizo but could this be legitimate strategy? if the USA knew of an imminent attack on taiwan would it not be a high-IQ play to put a senior official there so china knows the USA will be involved?
>high-IQ

Isn't this exactly why they put so much into the DF17 , hypersonics can take out carriers ?
And we know for a fact these are hypersonic, they just tested one off the coast of taiwan, Hypersonic nig, If these are as manoeuvrable as chinks claim, the USA has no counter measures or weapons with similar capability, Hypersonics are probably a decade away for the USA.
I know we all joke about the chinks, but Imagine China launches 200 DF17 from all over Chinese mainland and their south china sea islands in which they've been sneaking in material for a while, and in a single day Sink the entire CSG 5, just legit Wipes carrier strike group 5 off the earth, no survivors type of shit, eliminates the ability to project force into Asia into the USA can move more CSG into the area, and would they? after that? do nukes immediately fly or do chinks win
>imagine if China Numbah Wan
>imagine if US dumb and stupid and never considered how to deal with faster missiles

Do you exclusively read Chinese propaganda rags and assume everything in them is absolute truth?
yeh bro it's all chinknesium that will fall apart instantly.
keep that up as we fall into irrelevance, fricking mongrel attitude right there.
what's wrong with looking at the capabilities of you soon to be enemy you fricking idiot, there are american sources for their Hypersonic capabilities, it would have taken u 5 seconds on google, and by sources I mean literal american officials testifying in front of congress and explaining the need america has to achieve hypersonic as they believe china has.
>mean literal american officials testifying in front of congress and explaining the need america has to achieve hypersonic as they believe china has.

You do know that the US has had hypersonic missiles since the 60's right? Attaching a rocket booster to a cruise missile isn't that hard.

angsty contrarianism
AYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Imagine if China had 50+ Warships less than 1000 nautical miles off the west coast of the US.
US government says China is agressive because they build those artificial islands but in the meanwhile they have easily 100 billion dollars worth of hardware parked right next to chinks

You mean she is a Satanist baby killer? Yup.
STOP THIS THREAD AT ONCE
YOU'RE HURTING THE FEELINGS OF CHINESE PEOPLE
america won't do shit if nukes are launched
Why would we shoot down our own outgoing nukes?
Is the Chinese ego really so fragile it needs to hover its hand over the button because one plane flew to an island?
escalate to de-escalate, moron
>escalate to de-escalate, moron
with china's reputation building escalators, not a good look
>Sit there with your finger in your pocket threatening to shoot when the other guy clearly has a holster with a gun
Brilliant idea. Up there with removing crucial parts of an ecosystem.
>launch nuke at US over some boomer visiting Taiwan
>gets shot down just after liftoff by an SM-3
>US retaliates by wiping coastal China (i.e., where everything relevant in the country is situated, along with about half the population) off the map
>free swim lessons for 250 million commies, in keeping with their ideology
>Fly across the globe to other part of the world and do bullshit you know biggest count there doesn't like
>We're threatened from aboard

every american war fought against asiatics has resulted in a blood-feud tier hatred of them beyond their graves. every nip every asiatic every zip. maybe we're the next iteration and we get to hate chinks

batshit insane, it's all just about feelings and emotions now
We are the most powerful military force in the history of man.

The big brain plan would be to have the dried up old c**t stuffing around SE-Asia for the month on wide-loops 'mmaaaaybe' going to Taiwan
>Then... maybe not today
>But maybe tomorrow!
On your phone you can use airplane mode but I'm sure you already know this
>Inb4 i get banned for this
Frick pelosi, she regularly tries to circumvent our rights so hopefully the chinks do what no one in the US will
