"Decimating armour" bit of a stretch. Can barely scratch a gepard.

It's "cheap" and hard to counter, and it strikes less protected high value targets in the rear. Just watch DARPA create a shit tonne of anti drone warfare next year.

The spike NLOS has a range of 25km and it can be steered on the commander hatch of a tank, moreover it actually works against tanks.

It probably depends on the launch altitude since it glides for most of the time, probably 25km is a reference for land launches

Best part it's like only counter battery fire that Russian poses, without lanclet NATO artillery would be almost indestructible for russian war machine. And also I would like to look at real statistics because what we see are cases where lanclet hits or almost hits something, we didn't see failures, spotter drone getting destroyed etc. Kinda like with fpv drones or drone bombers

Why didnt Russia help Armenia with their drones when they were getting bodied by Turks?

      Anonymous

Because the Armenians acted in the same dumb way as the Ukrainians. Pashinyan's government started signalling to the West that they wanted to re-align, which is the most moronic thing they could have done from a realpolitik point of view, as Russia also has amiable relations with Azerbaijan. They willfully isolated themselves from the one friend they had.

Here's a video of a Lancet destroying SPG "Krab". Note the secondary explosions after impact that were filmed by another drone in the area.

The Drones seem really accurate but 70/80% of videos (I'm being kind here) follow the quick cut formula and also get followed up by ukranian photos of the actual damage so I rly don't know what to make of them. In some cases they have less effect than a molotov

  22. 1 year ago
    Anonymous

why is this drone so ineffective? even in the best footage they're willing to show it misses half the time, and the other times it leaves a little white cloud and the vehicle hit doesnt explode or catch fire, hell it doesn't even smoke. along with that all the embarassing edited ones.
why must you embarrass yourself like this?
why are you so desperate to convince everyone that this is a good weapon's system when all your evidence speaks against you?
i think i've seen like 5 videos where it actually properly damages something, like when it popped a tire on an m777, and even those usually get repaired. the best it's done is occasionally popped an exposed air to air missile.

    >Why is this drone so effective?
It is thoroughly mediocre. "Ok" against light vehicles and towed artillery pieces, but so are cheaper and more quickly procured FPV drones.

A 4/10 drone in a sea of 1/10 vatnik slop makes it shine.
