exactly that, also media blackout on how fricking insane ukrainian losses have been in Kherson, honestly looks grim if they can't get Kherson decisively soon enough and the bakhmut front collapses freeing the way to Kramatorsk the mood will change rapidly.
Can you try to not be so blatant? I get it, you think 35 million ukrainians are dead and the bakhmut superdimensional frtress city, key of the pisky relics is about to fall and doom The Oinkraine.
They're starting to pick up again and they've been pretty dogged so far. So naturally this means that something has gone catastrophically wrong for them and we'll find out about it in the next two days when the Russian Milbloggers very kindly give us a step-by-step run down of the frick-up in question; because with Russian OPSEC, you don't actually need spies when the enemy is willing to tell you their secrets purely for upvotes alone.
That's what Putin wants, so that he could keep telling the soldiers' families that their husbands and sons are still fighting in Ukraine
If they didn't do that the refusenik exodus wouldn't be as massive as it is now
A photo or a video aren't enough to convince your average brainwashed Russians
>It's Spooktober. Now is the perfect time for phantom offensives.
Also for making exhausted and starving zombie Russian soldiers into frustrated ghosts.
They've had a no retreat order for a while now. No like that they abandoned Lyman despite the not one step back chest pounding Putin has been screeching for the last month.
>"Kherson soldiers have order: NO RETREAT"
Ukies have their orders: "See that trench full of starving, poorly-equipped Orcs? BTFO all those frickers. ALL OF THEM!"
I thought they did this before the relatively failed kherson offensive in August but were more open with kharkiv. So I don't think it's as simple as blackout = success
>failed
I don't think they failed as badly as /misc/ claims, or the losses were as heavy.
I'm pretty sure Kherson is being used to attrit the best Russian troops and there's steady frontline pressure. The russian lines already collapsed once because of that in the north of Kherson.
Is the new vatBlack person strategy to pretend to be a ukie shill hyping for a offensive thats totally happening only for the brave conscriptovich to destroy it?
Not happening unless vatniks on telegram start boasting about thousands of destroyed tanks, repelled nazi attacks etc, at the same time. That's usually a sign that UAF is advancing again
>because ukies are taking too much casualties
this is why Ukies are emptying their prisons for penal battalions and sending 300,000 fat alcoholic bums to the front with no training or heavy weapons
Why do morons think info blackout = Ukraine is actually succeeded in a big push but it's just not getting reported? If this was a big push that was succeeded, we'd hear about it.
This literally happened with every "info blackout" so far. In the first Kherson push there was an info blackout and we didn't hear about anything aside from a view villages being taken, then after a few days turns out that's exactly what happened. In Kharkiv and the recent push in Kherson we had updates in real time when Ukraine would successfully capture a village, because that shit was getting leaked and uploaded to social media instantly.
> In Kharkiv and the recent push in Kherson we had updates in real time when Ukraine would successfully capture a village, because that shit was getting leaked and uploaded to social media instantly.
incorrect, the telegram posts lagged about a week unless a resident hunkered down posted which was only the case in a few towns further East near the end of the run
the "real time" you are referring to was a lag of 4-5 days on average
This isn't true at all, literally every major place that was captured had a post on /k/ calling it the day it happened based off social media posts where Ukranians posted vids and could be located, and in the days beforehand people were calling what places were being cut off and captured based on the same info. There was never a complete information blackout where we didn't know there was a successful push until 4-5 days after, we knew shit was happening basically the day it happened.
your picture is a great example, Ukrainian recon had cleared Kupiansk and began sweeping by 6 September on the later FIRMS estimate, yet publications began claiming entry only after 10 September and your post is 16 September (the cleanup)

That was my frick-up, looking through the archives /k/ was reporting on Kupiansk being taken much earlier. Wiki says that Ukranian forces entered Kupiansk on the 9th, so we had updates on it basically the next day.

Even if there is a slight delay, I don't buy the idea that there are these hidden offensives that we're just not hearing about but will hear about in 4 days time. It feels like if Ukraine was taking places, we'd hear about it within a few hours.

>Wiki says that Ukranian forces entered Kupiansk on the 9th,
Wiki is reporting on official announcements that were delayed by design because it bans original research
the 9th would be a 3-day delay from the actual siege of Kupiansk, which is well in line with the known fact that the UA is operating a media blackout even if it isn't always perfect
>impose media blackout because you don't want the public to know the amount of losses you incurred for a political/propaganda gain
Ukraine doesn't allow freedom of the press anyways so idk why anyone acts like this is some big news
It's probably this. Ukraine loudly announced they would launch a big assault on Kherson, when they really meant to divert Russians from the North and take Kharkiv.
All the Russians fell for it, moved to Kherson and are probably mauling the Ukrainians who weren't seriously intending to attack there. This war is so hard to follow because you can't believe anything unless both sides admit to something in agreement because it's too big to lie about. Although the trend I noticed is whenever the Ukrainians/NATO mouthpieces are silent on something, they fricked up. Whenever the Russians frick up they spaz out with huge doses of copium and try to contradict reality. Their propaganda game is way weaker.
but that's dumb anon because we literally saw the russian right flank on the west side of the Dnieper collapse in real-time, so obviously the russians can't be mauling the ukrops too badly.
>a defensive line retreating or collapsing means that theres no way the Russians are shelling the advance heavily
stellar logic, like the last offensives everyone will be silent on casualties but screaming about how much ground was taken
>stellar logic, like the last offensives everyone will be silent on casualties but screaming about how much ground was taken
So better than Bakhmut with heaps of casualties and no ground taken?

what's the origin of tempo? is it military slang?
Tempo of operations during offensive, look battle order video on French invasion of Mali to get a perfect example.

You sound worried.
Theres been a media blackout in kherson for months now this isnt even something new you morons

Don't worry, Conscriptovich. The anus will will cut off the dick of the Ukrainians any day now, maybe even in the next 2 weeks!
>stop with these phantom offensives
But phantom offensives are very scary, Russian controlled territory just keeps disappearing.
>There is no panic in Kherson

The tank at the start and the rez made me think it was footage from Grozny for a second.
it makes me so glad to see this guys face everywhere still. He’s /k/‘s spirit animal and I think thats just great
likewise, good to see some oldgays are still around.
Why bother? Waste of labor & fuel. Just toss them in a roadside ditch and let the wildlife deal with Russia's brave sons.

Probably routed immediately on contact with the Kraken regiment in Kharkiv
They were more like a brigade strength when deployed and by all accounts got clapped trying to reinforce Kupyansk.
