Pic related is the reason everyone is so upset about the army switching to a caliber larger than 5.56 for the NGSW program.
Would putting soldiers on steroids fix this problem?

We need dual wielding shoulder mounted M134's on motorized gimbals with 11.5in 300blk barrels with integrated suppression. A helmet mounted sighting system with target tracking for l337h4x aimbot 360 noscoping.
But in all seriousness this would be unfrickingbelievable in CQB.
i dont get why we dont have a blitzkrieg company that is just full of soldiers we pump full of steroids and give them stims
i know 2 people in the marines that only joined because they didnt give a shit about their life and just wanted to kill legally, they would be perfect for it
We have 3 line Ranger battalions on standby
because missiles do it better.
while putting soldiers on steroids would be incredibly beneficial to their immediate performance, that would entail adding a MASSIVE logistical problem. along with providing hyooge amounts of drugs for soldier, theyre sensitive to how theyre stored and if theres a break in supply there would be a disproportionate drop in performance.
as well as designing effective steroid cycles for everyone would require an incredible amount of medical oversight unless you want insane side effects from the majority of soldiers.
thats not even mentioning the facts that there are undoubtedly life changing consequences and not everyone would want to accept that.
have ranger frontline battalions, attach medical company to it
WOWWWWW
Does this twink homosexual like carbon all over his light? Why would you position a light there? You never served pog homosexuals are the worst. You can tell this kid would get pummeled irl and cry like a b***h.
seethe
Some moron that spams /arg/. The only person in those threads who served is a literal pog troony that tries to rep socom.
Ok private

thank you for your service :^)
No, thank you for paying for my bachelor's and master's degrees
> He can't even reply correctly
Was that "master's degree" a degree in being a moron? If so, I didn't pay for it, you definitely got a scholarship kek
I’m guessing he didn’t want to give you a (you). You should stop posting pictures of yourself though it’s pretty cringe and you look gay
Two things are clear,
1.) Stop samegayging, and
2.) You're too stupid to reply correctly, probably because you took too many loud noises to the head when you were in the army kekekekek
Bonus:
3.) Your insinuation that I look like Jerry Seinfeld is pretty lame. Not only are you stupid, but you can't even insult someone correctly (Jerry Seinfeld is actually quite handsome).
It's a PA degree, Black person
>thinks I don't know how to reply
lol frick outta here
> PA degree
More like a P-enis in your A-ss degree you homo, kek
> thinks I don't know how to reply
Not only are you too stupid to reply, but now you're doubling down. Congratulations, you are actually twice as moronic
Nobody cares about carbon fouling on a proper light. Reducing the barrel/suppressor shadow is why you put an extension on lights. You goober.

I don't understand what the picture is supposed to represent.
some homosexual attention prostitute that will inevitably get doxxed if it hasnt already happened
He's been doxxed several times, no one cares.
Tons of combat arms dudes use roids because 99% of them do not show up on a standard "hey surprise b***h" Urinalysis test and no rifle company commander with half a brain would think "hey, my guys are all getting stronger, more motivated and more aggressive. I need to request an order for an expensive UA that specifically tests for steroids". The only way guys get booted from the military (at least, in the army) for roids is if they're either A: a massive shitbag that everyone hates and so the CO is looking for a reason to kick him to the curb, or B: a third party investigation is happening (think battalion/regiment/brigade level health and welfare inspection) and they catch the dude with roids in his room or ass.
So technically yes, steroids are a nogo in the military, but in practice they really aren't.
At least with the Navy, the standard drug test only goes for the usual suspects (weed, coke, opiates, meth).
The one for steroids is different and has to be directed specifically by the CO.
so how have you gotten around the steroid use, seems inconvienient to keep in the barracks.
Keep it in your car or stash it at a married buddy's house
The average soldier in WWII was 140lbs and 5'7"
In addition, steroids are terrible for your health. I'd rather work harder than risk my nuts for an easy way out.
Saving other people's picture isn't cool. Using other people's pictures to talk shit isn't cool. OP is a giant homosexual of the worst kind.
What a conundrum we have here folks. I mean, it's not as if the .308 Winchester, or even more improbable that the 30-06 was commonly used in military service rifles.
Even if the caliber difference is minimal.
.223" vs .308"
It's not even a big deal. Calibre means next to nothing for small arms combat and when it does meant something, bigger is better as shown in Disney's famous film in Sweden, Black Hawk Down.
I thought fire superiority was the name of the game for infantry, 5.56 was light and small, easier to gain fire superiority in a firefight.
Ik this dude from another battaltion who forgot to cycle off roids properly and now has fricked hormone levels and birch breasts
Most SOF are on PEDs, as well as most pro athletes
He might be able to get free gyno surgery
Though mil docs would probably botch it
How exactly dud that happen? Forgive me for not knowing shit about roids, but if you just stop taking them all of a sudden you grow fricking breasts?
Like permanent breasts? What the frick?
Chemical imbalances bro
Taking steroids for a while means your body becomes reliant on the steroids for testosterone, your balls shrink because they don't need to produce T anymore and when you stop taking them your body lacks T and has an imbalance of estrogen.
Literal fricking high school biology
Yeah I remember all of that shit, but we never covered the intricacies of performance enhancing drugs, sorry.
ITT /k/ learns about middle school biology 101 (for our next comedy, sex ed!).
Steroids aren't a problem if you cycle, supplement, etc properly. While they'll frick you up if u don't. It's a midwit bell curve meme.
I do not support a move from 5.56 because my ARs are 5.56 and I don't want them to be outdated.
Why does everybody think that steroids is instantSchwarzenegger?
Steroids shrink your dick, enlarge your heart, give you body acne, give you b***hbreasts, make you bald, and can frick up your glands.
you have no idea what your'e talking about.
By all means. Shoot steroids up your ass. Please.
homosexuals
Oh no, the skinny fat baby man is calling me a homosexual when he can't even do a single pull up, whatever will I do.
>moron moment
>Would putting soldiers on steroids fix this problem?
Endurance is a lot more important than strength for infantry. I guess it might help some 13B or something but regular cardio would probably do them all a lot better.
>get into fight with poorly trained, under-equipped, lightly armored insurgents
>have a blast shooting them, random farmers, and the witnesses to you shooting random farmers, and the people who now just want you to pound sand for killing their 12-year-old farmer cousin all while making the MIC billions
>suddenly the insurgents you didn't create with your massive collateral damage campaigns hire mercenaries that show up with mounted machine guns and battle rifles
>surprised pikachu.png when they clown on you from beyond 200 yards in the mountains
>oh shit oh frick maybe switching to intermediate calibers from full power rifle cartridges was a bad idea
>thinking emoji 144p.jpg
>we'll make an entirely new round that doesn't solve the range problem of 5.56 or the penetration problem at range and adds a new problem with higher weight
>wouldn't x51 real frickin' nato fix more of the problems that NGSW?
>no frick off the first idea is positively brilliant!
>and the soldiers?
>frick them and their knees
You are moronic, 6.8 x 51 has nutty BC and form factor, it makes 7.62 NATO look like a potato, because ballistically it is
Hey guys, let's give emotionally unstable manchildren with automatic firearms a drug that makes them more emotionally unstable.
What could possibly go wrong?
The destruction of the federal reserve
Uh, I think that's what could (and should) go right
>Hey guys, let's give emotionally unstable manchildren with automatic firearms a drug that makes them more emotionally unstable.
zero clue on what he's talking about
>roiding
Bruh just get these guys to lift 3-5 times a week. Half the time mfers are just on base doing anything to kill time. Instead get them in the gym
ethics or something
with the something being VA claims
No steroids don't make you healthy, they cause loads of health problems. Also the ngsw program is moronic even ignoring recoil
When I got down range top said I was too skinny and gave me a sandwich baggy filled with Dbol. I know a shit ton of guys that used gear just because they liked to lift honestly.
Everyone in the teams is on gear and they still prefer 556 over battle rifles for anything within 100 yards because it provides the least muzzle rise ie the fastest splits while maintaining adequate lethality. If we put everyone on gear they’d just shoot faster splits. Recoil isn’t a problem because it’s unpleasant; it only matters to the extent it increases split times, and this changes in a scalable way according to the gun handling ability of the operator.
the recoil makes u flinch tho so ur not as accurate
>implying they're not on them already
