I trained myself, after years of waking up with numb arms and trying to roll over by using numb arms to push my body up, to come out of sleep paralysis through sheer force of will. One time I thought the grudge girl was crawling on my floor but froze mid crawl because I woke up and saw her, then I just got angry and lifted my body up and the paralysis wore off. Eyes were locked on her the whole time but once I snapped out of it, it was just a pile of clothes on the floor.

checked and anon, I just moved to Colorado springs. Are these shirts worth the ludicrous wait times? I have met 3 people in town talking about them and I can't tell if they are good or just homosexual shit

People who go around talking about clothes are into homosexual shit. I know Americans are used to hyper-consumption, but most of the time, a shirt is just a shirt.

yeah one of them was a literal homosexual so no surprise there, but some gear is definitely worth it. Although looking at their website, it looks like normal, locally made warm hoodies.

They're just using polartec which is the og fleece brand. If you are into wearing plastic it's the best for durability. Just read up on materials and made sure it is what you want. I prefer classic fleece cause it's the best blend to match wool in high breathability to some of the other fleeces that trap too much heat. Other companies are too stupid and switch to generic China fleece.
Swazi uses polartec fleece. Used to be made in nz but now Thailand. Owner is a homosexual but good designs. The heavyweight shit they use is the same material that the 1990s fleece that people still use to this day on shit like the synchilla from gayagonia. Polartec used to be called Martin mills and made fleece on a joint venture with Patagonia. Don't think synchillas use polartec anymore though.
Taiga is Canada German that uses polartec. Okay designs
Marine Corp also had a surplus polartec jacket that is an amazing design because it has giant pit zips. I always find fleece a bit too warm so this is a godsend. Guaranteed to preserve your innocence too.
Ps fleece is a hair magnet and campfire will frick it up

honestly, olive drab is the most versatile shade you can get. when you beat it up and it gets dirty? diy camo. keep it clean? fine for everyday use

          Anonymous

these USMC surplus sweaters are the only piece of milsurp i can really appreciate. except mine came very shrunk (yes i know it's supposed to fit tight), so i had to soak it in a shit ton of hair conditioner then wear it wet until it reformed to my body, imbuing it with a smell

olive drab is my color of choice for outdoor gear, though blaze orange is choice for things like guylines, rape whistle, tick key, etc. i'd thought of camo but multicam sticks out like a guy in a pickup truck with a coleman propane burner, and realtree is unobtanium

Would acrylic make a huge difference to wool? seems like the military is starting to adopt it more and more.

while some milsurp is well made, in general, the military gets the shittiest gear possible

          https://i.imgur.com/FMZehaH.jpg

$14 Canadian heavy wool shirt. It's got two pockets, the left one with a pen sleeve big enough for a Bic lighter to fit.

based. my #1 desire for outdoors outerwear, is for someone to start making cheap woolens from the felted hair of random animals like steppe yaks that have shit-quality wool

I used to get Russian surplus on ebay, but now it seems like every listing is from Ukraine. Feels like the old nigerian prince scams.

Acrylic knits aren't moisture wicking, will smell much faster and are vulnerable to fire. It's a cheaper, lower quality material.

      Anonymous

just went boarding the last two weekends. one weekend, i brought a 70/30 acrylic/wool sweater. the next i brought 100% wool. the acrylic one was worse by every metric. idk how wool does it but its much better at keeping you in that goldilocks zone of warm without feeling too hot. also, yeah poly shit reeks to high heaven after a day of sweating in it, which, because its acrylic, youll probably be doing moreso than a wool sweater.

all in all, just go wool. if its scratchy, either nut up and ignore it or wear a shirt under it.
