>Probably being massed somewhere, and maintained and prepared for spring offensive.
There is not a lot of movement right now due to mud season, if it looks like the ground will freeze for an extended period there might be a small push but otherwise I think they'll be preparing for that Spring. They'll need time to integrate the large amount of western equipment they've been receiving, what they've got already is impressive and I strongly doubt it stops here, the Jan 20th Ramstein meeting should be interesting.
>How do I put this gently: they kind of got "used up"
Sure they lost many but Russia generously donated so many tanks they have more than before the war.
And next time post a pic that isn't 8 years old.
You don't here anything about any armor right now because its been a mild winter and without a hard extended freeze the mud eats up anything heavier than a half starved mobik.
Mud
It's been unseasonably warm in Europe, so there has been more mud than usual, longer than usual.
Ukraine is risk adverse with their mechanized assets and won't start an offense unless there is a long and predictable deep freeze, and it doesn't look like one is going to happen this year.
Basically wait until May for any big armored pushes.
US has significantly increased their movement of assets within Germany.
You usually see them once every few years.
Now it's hard to take a long-distance train and not pass a train loaded with Abrams.
>Upcoming movements of U.S. Army equipment for Atlantic Resolve >More than 2,500 equipment items from the U.S. Army’s 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Calvary Division stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, will off-load at port facilities located in Vlissingen, The Netherlands; Aarhus, Denmark, and Riga, Latvia throughout the January 13-18, 2023 timeframe. >During this period, U.S. Army equipment will stage at the port facilities and subsequently conduct onward movement via rail and commercial trucking to follow-on locations in central and Eastern Europe. As a result, communities in the vicinity of these facilities are likely to see an increase in U.S. Army equipment as it transits to its final destinations. The U.S. Army closely coordinates its equipment movement with our host-nation allies and partners to ensure our transportation operations are conducted safely and with minimal impact on the local community. >The 2/1 CD is arriving in Europe for a regularly scheduled rotational deployment in support of Atlantic Resolve. Since April 2014, U.S. Army Europe and Africa has led the Department of Defense’s Atlantic Resolve land efforts by bringing units based in the U.S. to Europe. The deployment of ready, combat-credible U.S. forces to Europe in support of Atlantic Resolve is evidence of the strong and unremitting U.S. commitment to NATO and Europe. Through bilateral, joint and multinational training, Atlantic Resolve builds readiness, increases interoperability and enhances the bond between ally and partner militaries.

Why do they still have desert paint on when they are destined for Europe?
Wouldn't it be easier to change the paint before in the US at their home base?
No but I heard how an apartment block got raped with Ukrainian AA, caved in and killed a bunch of ukronigs ironically. Pretty fun stuff lol. I’m joking.
Problem is we ain't joking unironicly NATO should have just glased Serbs to avoid the embarrassment that is now Serbia Jesus fricking christ you pepole used to be based now it's just russia dick sucking and cum slaves. You're more of a homosexuals then most left leaning country's in the world
Anon, the fact that the west is mulling sending over modern western tanks means the Ukrainian ones, as well as most of the soviet stock in western Europe is gone.
Why do you think the UK would send Challengers if they could prod some EE country to send a few dozen T-somethings instead?
>Why do you think the UK would send Challengers if they could prod some EE country to send a few dozen T-somethings instead?
they could do this but they hate giving good deals to eastern european countries so they do the 10 tank publicity stunt bullshit instead
Probably not that exciting to watch videos of them being repaired, videos of crews training on them, or videos of them dug in, scooting forward 8 feet, firing 1-2 shells in indirect fire mode, and then reversing back into protection.
There isn't that much cool shit tank shit to film on the defensive. Maybe a counter attack, but it seems like Ukraine is doing what it did all summer and hoping to wear Russia down via attrition as they go on the offensive.
I would imagine their resources have been too stretched to do much else. The Kherson offensive took a huge commitment of resources and resulted in a large number of losses. They had a ton of shit to repair after that, men to rest, units to bright back up to strength, etc.
Unfortunately, they didn't come out of Kherson with the momentum the maximalists were hoping for. It was a great victory, but they didn't roll up 10,000 prisoners or anything like that. The later rounds of Mobiks sent in who actually got some training are also probably making it harder to find weak points.
I would not be surprised if they husband their strength until Russia's planned spring offensive is close, although they may try to pre-empt it.
This. And a lot of both sides' surviving tanks have still been all sorts of fricked up. They need to rotate them for maintenance. Even ones that haven't been significantly damaged they will want to get back in the shop to ensure there aren't issues when they try to use them.
Both sides are also saving up for the spring. Russia for a attempt to regain the momentum and accomplish whatever the frick their "goals" are, Ukraine to survive the renewed Russian assault and hopefully have enough strength left to counter and retake key areas.
If Ukraine gets any of these new tanks in a timely fashion they will probably want to have units train with using a mix of the current and new tanks to get a feel for how to maximize the benefits of the more modern tanks too.
>using a mix of the current and new tanks to get a feel for how to maximize the benefits of the more modern tanks too.
mixing sounds moronic.
only new tanks can be used at night which is their biggest advantage.
Probably being massed somewhere, and maintained and prepared for spring offensive.

How do I put this gently: they kind of got "used up"
Is that a t-62? it's kinda hard to differentiate the t-variants.
T-64. Note the small road wheels. T-62 has larger wheels with uneven spacing, and its turret sits towards the front of the hull.
u sure its not a t72amt?

>unseasonably warm
Western Europe is literally freezing to death.
Same reason that they are asking for 300 new top line western tanks........
Wat am I looking at ?
a shipment of Abrams tanks on a train somewhere in Australia
>Australia
It is in the nederland in the port waar I work
So it is a Abrams cool
The US maintains pre-positioned equipment all over the world including Europe, most likely you're just seeing a routine shuffling of some armor.
nice to know i see quite a bit of stuff there .wanted to know what it was

Thats one of the reasons you cannot use most highway cameras is Germany for a year now.
Careful your ground harness doesn’t break anon, that looks like a big drop
KEK
I don't know why dat happen it is normal on my foon
PrepHole deletes Metadata from your photos. Including the rotation.

>Wouldn't it be easier to change the paint before in the US at their home base?
No, painting a tank on a base in Europe works exactly the same as painting a tank on a base in the US.
they dont have that many and conserving the few they have left.
To be fair I don't think we ever heard much about Ukrainian tanks
I don't hear much about Russian tanks either anymore for that matter.
I didn't hear how T-90M in thermal cover got -ACKed yesterday east of Novoselivske?
No but I heard how an apartment block got raped with Ukrainian AA, caved in and killed a bunch of ukronigs ironically. Pretty fun stuff lol. I’m joking.
glavset slide attempt
serbia should be bombed again, harder this time.
Poland should be ironically split between Russia and Germany again. And baltBlack folk should be ironically genocided. Lol I’m joking.
Problem is we ain't joking unironicly NATO should have just glased Serbs to avoid the embarrassment that is now Serbia Jesus fricking christ you pepole used to be based now it's just russia dick sucking and cum slaves. You're more of a homosexuals then most left leaning country's in the world
the ''ACKSHUALLY it was ukranian AA!'' narrative pops up literally every time russia hits an apartment block lol
Because its mud season. Utilizing mass armor in mud season is not optimal for any kind of offensive. Uts only limited to light armor
Because of weather and general attrition.
I wouldn't worry about it. Same as when we wondered where the tanks were before Kharkiv
they don't have an army anymore, ukrop army melted upon contact *~~*~~*~~))

because it's mud season moron, even russian armor hasn't been operating much
