>Malaysian renowned prominent defence expert researcher revealed that French-made Rafale Multi-role Fighter already destroying American and European fighter market with multiple orders from various country especially from Middle East and Asia. This statement were supported by multiple defence expert researcher from India who testified the superiority of French Rafale especially against; terrorist Paki F-16V.

So/ How come a bunch of cheese-eating surrender monkey killing the American fighter plane market potential? In this statement correct?

Americans like to put some restriction in the usage of their military hardware. I mean forbidding the country who buy the US military hardware to use said hardware for fighting against some terrorist organizations and the threaten them with sanction if they disobey is not exactly a good marketing.

Don't forget the Greek and Armenian lobbyists. They dictate French arms transfers too but it's not like Turkey is trying to purchase Rafales so it just hurts US sales of the F-16.

          So fuck Malaysia.

          Moreover
          >multiple defence expert researcher from India who testified the superiority of French Rafale especially against; terrorist Paki F-16V.
Pakistan has no F-16V, they got a few block 52 and a bunch of block 15, so what the fuck is this guy talking about? Indian "experts" can go fuck themselves too considering the volume of shit they threw at France since 2016 accusing the french of being scammers. Hello sirs, no you can't redeem Rafale transfert of technology.
France has been trying the whole kamasutra for these guys who think buying 36 Rafale would grant them a special access to Alizee's boobs and vagene. Since then the UAE has bought 80 and never asked for anything in return.
          >So/ How come a bunch of cheese-eating surrender monkey killing the American fighter plane market potential? In this statement correct?
It's not, those who buy french either do because they can't buy american or don't want to buy american. It's a tiny market and I don't see more than maybe 500 Rafale being exported and 250 built for domestic use in a far away future. We currently sit at 495 including 285 export.
However this small success is indeed unacceptable in the eyes of the murrican' industry who thinks only them should sell weapons and then get special access to Alizee's vag for their amerimutt tiny AIDS-riddled fentanyl addicted cocks.

Go cum in your kebab as a replacement for white sauce, turk. You are so schizo you think France is like 90% greek and 250% armenian or something. We don't need these guys to hate you.

I don't think you realise how much the French are international pieces of shit, like to do deals with the French is like doing deals with imperial china, only just minus the actual kowtowing, you accept all of their demands (which are always massively in french favour) and have to just hope they don't decide to change the contract or ask for a couple million more euros just to give you the thing you have already ordered.

It's hard to explain the mindset of a nation that literally could not understand why the Algerians wanted independence, to them the idea of not wanting to be Frances bitch is unthinkable, and they have continued with this mindset for years, still confused when Australia didn't want to pay more more subs that France had delayed many times, and when mali would rather deal with an islamic insurgency than with French totally-not-colonial forces.

Not every country is allowed stealth technology, and the Rafale is the 2nd best 4th gen after the F15, which is even more expensive

I haven't looked up any numbers but I'm going to bet that total lifetime cost of a Rafale is much lower than that of a F-35.
Also, half those countries just wouldn't be allowed to buy F-35s.
Now I would have bought the Gripen instead, because it's aesthetically superior, and I hate the French. But that's just me and the Swedes are probably the worst cucks when it comes to export restrictions.

        >I haven't looked up any numbers but I'm going to bet that total lifetime cost of a Rafale is much lower than that of a F-35.
Depends on how you calculate these "lifetime costs" and what is added into the total. Like fuel, maintenance, upgrades, total crew salaries for the duration of the frames life, storage buildings, tools, inventory system costs, spares, etc. It's more complicated than just X is less than Y.

          Anonymous

Well I just assumed a plane covered in composites would be more expensive to maintain.
Then again, the Rafale has two engines, so who the fuck knows.

            Anonymous

According to Finns, the maintenance cost between aircraft isn't huge. Anon is right, calculation is simply hard to compare between nations. They simply have different calculations.

If you can't buy the F-35, you can't buy the Gripen, because like more than half of it's components is american made

      >F35
      >5th gen
No one even agree on that classification.
The only reason it's 'cheaper' now is because they've already scammed everyone hiding maintenance cost or retrofitting the previous half-finished prototype, they already want to change the engine.
Germany didn't want the F35 but were forced to because of NATO nuke deterrence, Australia and South Korea also wanted to test it, but you know how the US operate with back deal now.

I bet Lockheed have full time shills working to salvage the F35 reputation.

        Anonymous

The only people who don't agree on F-35 being 5th Gen is other aircraft shills.

Half-finished prototype? Lmao. Various pictures inside the factory at various stages simply debunks your point. And wanting new engines is because of an increased amount of processing requirements. It's one of the consequences of having a very high bandwidth data bus.

If anything that have backdoor deals, it's Rafale. Their current scandal in Switzerland is fun to watch. Dangling EU cooperation and electricity as a bargaining chip is such a lol.

I bet Dassault have full time shills working to salvage the Rafale's failed competition against F-35. This is especially magnified when going to a French forum.

    >How come a bunch of cheese-eating surrender monkey killing the American fighter plane market potential?
Imagine you are neutral-ish 3rd world Asian country
you can have fighters from following countries:
    >USA
great performance at reasonable price due to mass production
but they use military deals as diplomatic carrot on a stick and if you displease them, they won't supply you planes or spare parts for ones you already have
if you don't play ball, your airforce will get grounded (literally and figuratively)
    >Russia
the planes are cheap, great for airshows, but kinda shit if you're actually risking going to fight
    >China
probably the reason why you are arming yourself in the first place
    >French
Rafale are less cost effective than American planes, but they don't play geopolitics in Asia, so you can do whatever you want
also you can use them on a carrier (India)
    >Sweden
Gripen is cheap for a western jet, even cheaper to keep running than Mig-29 is
but the smaller size means lower range and payload capacity
    >South Korea
T-50 is not a thoroughbred fighter, but can do the job if you don't have deep pockets
