NATO assessment and lessons learned for the first 4 months. > In the context of deterrence, one of the biggest challenges may be preventing the Russians from deceiving themselves.

> and no rules of engagement
The frick does that mean? Mass arty at cities? Woops, shell hunger is a thing. Murz, Girkin etc + various russian sources have been increasingly complaining about this. They blew most of their load on literally 2-3 cities in E Ukraine. Now they are running on fumes, shells-wise. Also, their barrels 😉
> Kiev will become Grozny
They've thrown 1000 shahed drones and just as many cruise missiles at that oblast, think they will be fine.
> or maybe they cut the supplies routes from the east
Lol, that alone will be a what, 500 miles brand new front they will have to capture, reinforce and then hold from 2 different sides under 24/7 visual surveillance from Poland that they can't shoot down? kek
> lets see what happens, the ground is freezing.
Bruh it's almost mid January. Time is running out and I still see positive temps there every few days. The ground will not freeze at all this year
Much more troops, change of doctrine, no rules of engagement and pound the enemy with artillery until submission, ukrainian losses are taking a massive toll and they're showing lack of manpower in several key areas along the front, russians are advancing while being outnumbered, imagine when hundreds of thousands of fresh troops join the battle, i don't think 50 aluminum caskets from US are gonna change the situation.
>Attack unprepared defenders with 200k trained soldiers, supply and working equipment >Fail >Next attempt will be to attack prepared defenders with the same amount of untrained mobiks, no supply and T-62s >Charge into 150km of presighted artillery, blown up bridges, endless minefields and defensive positions
The only good thing is that Russia will actually attempt this and we can see more dead Russians.
Ukraine repelled that invasion with little to no NATO equipment. Now they have entire brigades equipped with sophisticated western stuff, and can BTFO any convoys moving in with precision artillery strikes, AT missiles, etc.
If Russians tried it their armored columns would get BTFO. They can't pull a desert storm with their already depleted frontline units and air force, especially when the Ukrainians actually have advanced missiles and AA systems now.
In february they had a lot more troops, waaay better equipped and supplied, with years of trainning and with a working air force and got wasted by a rat tag of whatever the TDF can munster, expect not going better, expect going a lot worse...
It's 5d Chess, they want to scare Ukraine into pulling soldiers off the lines in the east. Even if Russia can capture Kiev, they sure as frick aren't going to be able to hold it and maintain their supply lines.
They've been sending them there to train because they don't have the capacity to train all their mobiks at once. Send them there, Belarus training fields, make Ukraine nervous and force them to(ideally) draw units off the line to cover the border just in case. Send back when done.
Lot of noise about another attack from there over the last month or so though. Makes me wonder.
Yes, that's the problem, whilst it would be insanely stupid to have another pop at Kyiv, Russia has time and time again shown itself to be insanely stupid.
No and no. They are there for different reasons. Most likely training and housing them.
This. They are trying to emulate what Ukraine is doing with NATO training. Training and housing 300.000 extra troops somewhere close to the action is complicated, and every relief helps. Also, Belorussians can teach basic soldiering stuff just as fine. It’s not like moving on line and shooting an AK74 works
differently in different parts of the world.
So Russia invaded from Belarus when Ukraine's military was in disarray, and they still got stuck for weeks in a huge convoy and eventually had to turn around and go home. If they try now that Ukraine has long range precision artillery the road north is gonna be paved with Russian bones like a medieval ossuary.
Target Russian Logistics without mercy and kill their officers. Then destroy their artillery and their armor.
Force them into a mass of leaderless infantry running low on ammo, fuel, and food.
Attack the Vatnik weak points without fricking mercy or hesitation, Ukraine. Turn their sheer mass against them. Troops without logistics burn through things very, very fast.
Russians had air superiority and favorable logistics through the Caucasus. Getting from Belarus to arty range of Kiev is a nightmare death march for Russia.
They had to get their asses beat to activate their Saiyan zenkai and boost their power levels. Now all the Russians need to do is take a senzu bean and with their newly increased power levels they'll have no problem taking Kieyev from the decadent cr*pitalist w*ctoid zogmuttmurilardzogolemclaps'd oinkoholilols.
>The speed and conception of the Russian advance posed grave dangers for the UAF. Russian Ground Forces made rapid progress towards Kyiv from Gomel where there were in any case very few Ukrainian troops. The axis past Chernihiv also posed major challenges as Ukrainian forces were caught between their positions, while the orders to bypass resistance left many Ukrainian units cut off, behind Russian lines. >... >Even with [Ukranian] efforts, the Russians achieved a 12:1 force ratio advantage on the Gomel axis. Similarly, around Chernihiv, the 1st Tank Brigade found itself encircled and lacking infantry support, necessarily drawing on
territorial defence units and reservists to adopt a position of all-round defence. >In Donbas, the Russian operations to fix the bulk of the UAF proved almost entirely successful. Although the AFRF made little progress against the defensive positions along the line of contact, it proved impossible for Ukrainian troops to be redeployed from this theatre. >From the above, it is important to recognise that the Russians achieved surprise and succeeded in bringing about highly favourable force ratios on their main axes. On the second day of the conflict, there was considerable anxiety in the UAF as to the ability to halt the advance from Gomel. ... [Russian] troops were largely moving in administrative formations. They lacked a clear understanding of where they were. Whole towns did not exist when the maps they were using were made. They had not anticipated heavy fighting, nor did they have established communications to report the situation or to receive updated instructions. Ukrainian forces found themselves bypassed and often confronted with columns of unprepared Russian troops. ... [The] contrast between expectations and reality induced panic and caused the abandonment of equipment that was widely observed on social media.
Russians were really close but the troops had 0 morale or understanding of what they were meant to do.
Yup. Here's the report I'm quoting btw
https://rusi.org/explore-our-research/publications/special-resources/preliminary-lessons-conventional-warfighting-russias-invasion-ukraine-february-july-2022
It has some funny takeaways
On deception (some excerpts): >Deception has succeeded against Russian forces at all echelons and across all three service branches. At the tactical level, the UAF have systematically employed false signals traffic and decoys of prestige systems to misdirect Russian fires. This has almost always succeeded, leading to a vast expenditure of munitions against non-existent targets and a corresponding vulnerability for Russian fires in revealing their positions. >In much NATO discussion of these issues subtle changes in force posture, weapons fits on aircraft, patterns of behaviour and so on are used to try to message varying levels of readiness, preparedness and will. Many of these actions are premised on the assumption that they will be observed by the adversary. ... However, when Ukrainian forces struck the cruiser Moskva in the Black Sea with Neptune anti-ship cruise missiles on 13 April 2022 there was no indication that its radar was operating. This was supposed to be the central ISTAR node for the air defence of the Black Sea Fleet, yet despite being in an active warzone, the ship’s primary sensors were not on. Nor was this an isolated incident. >From a deterrence point of view – or for the purposes of shaping decision-making – this is concerning because it suggests that most of the nuance in messaging may be lost. Therefore, while the Russian forces may be vulnerable to deception, the message must be clearly telegraphed. In the context of deterrence, one of the biggest challenges may be preventing the Russians from deceiving themselves.

kek, good luck with that, Russia's been in a collective hysterical hallucination since the mongol rape trauma. Every day they convince themselves that (a) everything is just peachy (b) they have the right to exist. Both of which are lies.
Lmao that is Based Charlie Magne Poster, tripgay who was bullied for being tripgay and eventually stopped. This looks exactly like one of her brain dead takes.
Was the Ukie military in disarray though? They expected this invasion for a few weeks before it happened, it's not like they were entirely unprepared. I mean, yeah, equipment and morale wise they are stronger now, but why would they have been in disarray back then?
The Russians attacked with over 50,000 troops during the first offensive on Kyiv. If they do it again, they'll attack with at least that many again, if they have even a single working brain cell among the besotted frick-ups that comprise the general staff.

I really want to see how this shakes out. Russia is in a worse situation capability wise to make an attack, has even less a grasp of Ukraines C&C System and Anti Air coverage. Do they think they're going to drive through with little resistance?
if they were planning ANYTHING they would be amassing armor, equipment, munitions, medical facilities, etc. all on the Ukrainian border.
If our DoD isn't seeing signs of this happening, I don't think it ever will happen. Recall that it took over a year of preparation just for the initial invasion into Ukraine, they were massing equipment on the border, building bases, etc. for almost a year and we saw it happening, knew it was happening, told the Ukrainians about it and they refused to believe an actual invasion was coming and that it was just intimidation for their "military exercises."
I hope to see kino of TDF boomers with stingers taking down $25 million ack-tack helis just as they cross the border. The Northern territories are most likely crawling with bloodthirsty reservist types aching to mow down mobiks.
>20k puccians >20k belarussians >on belarussian soil >puccians try to push belarussians to be the meat shield >belarussians refuse >one spark is enough to make them kill each other
To be honest, this whole northern deal is the perfect recipe for a catastrophe.
I hope that NATO and the west will finally start thinking rational and recognise that poolacks are responsible for all atrocities of the XXth and XXIst century and will be exterminated
What double standard? You poolacks are the biggest waste of space and oxygen on this planet. It would be better for this planet if you were exterminated and every trace of your existence erased
so anyway thats the second time twitter landed me to jail

In february they had a lot more troops, waaay better equipped and supplied, with years of trainning and with a working air force and got wasted by a rat tag of whatever the TDF can munster, expect not going better, expect going a lot worse...
>Kiev will become Grozny,
They won't get to Kiev
60 km convoy traffic jam reminder, moron
LOL what gear? Nuggets and a bucket for a helmet?
I'm sure the OCCASIONAL item of actual value will be found. Maybe even some museum pieces.
How can you be this moronic? They've been sending trainloads of equipment and ammo FROM Belarus not to it.
Sure, but it won't be very mechanized this time round.
My advice is the same as before.
Soon to be kiev
Not without commanders, fuel, and ammo.
Ukraine just needs to take all of that from an Russian invasion force.
Blast their supply points & command posts immediately.
Russians had air superiority and favorable logistics through the Caucasus. Getting from Belarus to arty range of Kiev is a nightmare death march for Russia.
if russia is so big and strong why didn't it look like this on day 1
They had to get their asses beat to activate their Saiyan zenkai and boost their power levels. Now all the Russians need to do is take a senzu bean and with their newly increased power levels they'll have no problem taking Kieyev from the decadent cr*pitalist w*ctoid zogmuttmurilardzogolemclaps'd oinkoholilols.
A goodwill gesture. Just like Snake Island!
Gloves raised eyebrows off etc.
Also the Ukrainians did make some gallant stands, most likely via the 1st Tank Brigade.

Yup. Here's the report I'm quoting btw
https://rusi.org/explore-our-research/publications/special-resources/preliminary-lessons-conventional-warfighting-russias-invasion-ukraine-february-july-2022
It has some funny takeaways
On deception (some excerpts):
>Deception has succeeded against Russian forces at all echelons and across all three service branches.
>Attack the Vatnik weak points without fricking mercy
Sounds hard to target the butthole at long distance.
With maximum contempt directed at Russia, it really is.
Nice Avatar / Signature use, false flagging vatBlack person.
https://desuarchive.org/k/search/filename/charlie%20demon/
It's me, lol. Vatniks insist on using my retired user name. Besides, they could never capture my sheer blatant contempt for Russians.
they're already doing that you homosexual
Just a reminder to the Ukrainians.
>"No matter how many fricking IDIOTS the Russian throws at you, his weakness is still the same."
Lmao that is Based Charlie Magne Poster, tripgay who was bullied for being tripgay and eventually stopped. This looks exactly like one of her brain dead takes.
Are you seriously saying a top-down led military without supplies and without leaders can still fight for long?
>the road north is gonna be paved with Russian bones like a medieval ossuary.
nice phraseology anon
Was the Ukie military in disarray though? They expected this invasion for a few weeks before it happened, it's not like they were entirely unprepared. I mean, yeah, equipment and morale wise they are stronger now, but why would they have been in disarray back then?
more meat for the grinder
They need 200k plus. Not 20k.
I hope so. I’d love to see Dollar Store Thunder Run 2.0
The Russians attacked with over 50,000 troops during the first offensive on Kyiv. If they do it again, they'll attack with at least that many again, if they have even a single working brain cell among the besotted frick-ups that comprise the general staff.
I want to see 50,000 dead Russians after a strike by those flying claymore HIMARS rockets.
Bargain basement battle of the bulge.
isnt the belarus and ukraine border full of dogshit terrian for invading?
The terrain north of Kiev is okay but further to the west it gets really swampy
>Do you think ruskies will try to attack from Belarus again?
they would be stupid enough to try it, yes
Ukraine also seems to think so, but maybe they know they wont do it, but they keep saying they think so keep russian forces occupied on belarus
Blood will run in rivers if they attempt that again.
>is that why NATO is sending light tank to Ukraine now?
keev is going to get FRICKING STEAMROLLED, and Putler is going to force the arrogant little frickers to negotiate.
AFU morale is buck-broken anyway, and most people are ready to just get the inevitable over with, before there arent any ukrainian 'male's' left
AFU morale is downright murderous and screaming for more russian blood. You're delusional, vatBlack person.
>before there arent any ukrainian 'male's' left
LMAO, full-on projection. At the current rate, the Ukrainians will slaughter every single last military-age Russian male alive before running out of manpower. You're going to get mobilized, Vanya, and you're gonna die at Bakhmut. Make your peace with this fact.
Too bad Ukraine is on their own now that European gas supplies are depleted and the American Congress incapable of selecting a speaker.
>European gas supplies are depleted
Gas Infrastructure Europe says otherwise
>the American Congress incapable of selecting a speaker.
McCarthy is in what are you on about?
No stop posting facts you are freezing okay, RT said so
RT can suck my apparently frostbitten nuts
>Gas Infrastructure Europe says otherwise
>McCarthy is in what are you on about?
Nice MSM propaganda, schlomo
Reality really is biased against you, isn't it?
Yesterday the temp inside my house got under 16º and got so unconfy that had to turn on the gas heating first time in the winter for about half an hour, since then I'm demoralized and now I am the most staunch supported of russky mir.
We poked the bear too much and there's a price to pay.
>tfw I went to the new years fireworks in a shirt because it was something like 16 degrees at midnight
How is it propaganda?
I am literally sitting in a comfy heated house right now with going broke nor having my nations gas reserves drained at all.
As soon as spring thaw starts, Mein Monke will order the advance.
inb4 they're gonna CONVOOOOOOOY
10-4 rubber ducky
Lukas has had to front up for virtually everything shy of what will outright frick him from a state stability standpoint.
If he did well, those cats are just there for training.
If he did badly, they launch an assault from there, and that's going to put a massive dent in his plausible deniability, and basically frick him.
Either way, he's on thin ice, and he will absolutely know it, and be trying to mitigate that shit.
When you hear that the numbers of Russians in Belarus had grown to 300k then you can start to worry.
I really want to see how this shakes out. Russia is in a worse situation capability wise to make an attack, has even less a grasp of Ukraines C&C System and Anti Air coverage. Do they think they're going to drive through with little resistance?
no
how about post guns you stupid slav Black person subhuman
No and no.
troops is nothing.
if they were planning ANYTHING they would be amassing armor, equipment, munitions, medical facilities, etc. all on the Ukrainian border.
I swear if Belarus starts acting up again... I'm going to have to get involved.
Please do, I'm a bit busy with Russia atm.
Of course not
They'd have to be fricking moronic to do it while everyone already knows that we know they're planning to do it
...
They're actually going to do it, aren't they?
>They'd have to be fricking moronic
Sure, why not. Nothing of this special operation makes any sense anyway.
I'm sure a second time with mobiks and rusty tanks will succeed where the first time with the best troops and gear russia had to offer failed.
I hope to see kino of TDF boomers with stingers taking down $25 million ack-tack helis just as they cross the border. The Northern territories are most likely crawling with bloodthirsty reservist types aching to mow down mobiks.
they will take all winter esp when there are not enough facilities near to that border (and not in training area)
You just know Luka is starting to get a little anxious.
>20k puccians
>20k belarussians
>on belarussian soil
>puccians try to push belarussians to be the meat shield
>belarussians refuse
>one spark is enough to make them kill each other
To be honest, this whole northern deal is the perfect recipe for a catastrophe.
CSTO kicks Russia out.
I can't even begin to imagine how many mines and other booby traps must now litter all routes to Kyiv, that wouldn't have been there back in Feb.
A little bit of me actually wants Russia to invade just to see.
>wants Russia to attack (again)
Rather
If this shit happens again, Poland should level Belarus.
What if they surprise attack the Suwalki gap instead from Belarus?
Is Luka even done peeling the potatoes yet?
Belarus is rich country, has infinite potatoes.
what does Lukapotato gain from attacking Ukraine?
I hope that NATO and the west will finally start thinking rational and recognise that poolacks are responsible for all atrocities of the XXth and XXIst century and will be exterminated
>be pole
>straight nose
what does this mean
I'm not sure anon, let me get my calipers and phrenology chart.
You're a subhuman filth that starts all wars and should be exterminated for the good of humanity
hmm i think there is a double standard happening here
What double standard? You poolacks are the biggest waste of space and oxygen on this planet. It would be better for this planet if you were exterminated and every trace of your existence erased
Go back polBlack person
>butbutbut whatabout (...)
It's your turn this time Boris, can't talk your way out of it.
Cope poolack. Soon you will be exterminated and your land will be split between Germany and Russia
