A Zombie Outbreak has occurred, It includes Fast Zombies (28 Days Later & Dawn of the Dead 2004*) and Slow Zombies (Dawn of the Dead 1978); No Smart Zombies (Return of the Living Dead).
What gun do you grab? What vehicle do you use? What's your outfit?
i'd play video games as long as i could and if zombies try to get in my house i would kill myself
You forgot to mention where would you flee or fortify.
>Outfit
XOF Suit & Gasmask, Backpack
>Weapons
Skorpion
Browning Hi-Power
870 Pumpaction Shotgun
HK MP5 SD With Grenade Launcher
>Vehicle
G60 Patrol
>Where, Would i go?
Metro or Underground Subway station.
I’d grab my mossberg shockwave and 9mm and then board my windows up.
All I have to do is wait
Why the *?
>What gun do you grab?
your mom's fat and juicy ass.
>Fast Zombies
I browse the internet as long as I can and then kill myself. Not worth trying to survive in that world.
What's the ratio of fast to slow? We talking 50/50 or 10/90 like Resident Evil?
I would guess dead island
since the appearance of zombies means the laws of physics no longer apply, I'd enchant a sword and cast spells
Okay, Since your pissing me off. Your sword is enchanted. It talks. ITS A feminist who yells rape, rape!
>Not forcing your feminist into involuntary slaughter until it's nice and mindbroken
>No Smart Zombies
Can I have your Brian if you're not using it?
Your best bet is to hunker down, and make sure you make no noises to draw attention. A gun is absolutely useless as any zombie will be replaced by 10 other attracted to the sound. Melee is too risky, and eventually you'll get sloppy and die. So you can only hide, until they detoriate enough that they are not a threat anymore.
This. Go as far from people as possible and hunt with traps and bows.
You can't really save yourself from being killed by a screaming runner coming out of the forest at 5am because it spotted your candlelight or something, so the best bet is to be in a place where none are present.
I only have a machete and auscam in my house, an 80 pound bow too.
Why do zombies never attack another? They're hungry for human flesh, but they instinctively hang out with hordes of other zombies they could feast on?
I never got that.
>zombies
Ultra gay.
>le zombies of my youth as a child of the late 80s laserdisc havers
so THIS is why I am a decade ahead of everybody else. You just connected two dots in my mind that I never was really aware of anon. Thanks. Fukken phased plasma rifles in the 40 watt range. How did I not see it before.
I'm ready
After playing practically every good zombie game ever made, I've determined that I'd prefer to have a shotgun over anything else.
The utility of a shotgun can not be overstated enough.
Need to clear a parking lot full of zombies? Buckshot.
Need to nail a single guy over yonder? Slug.
Need to get into a room or building right NOW? Breaching round.
Need to light something on fire? Dragon's Breath.
With all of that said, I don't think I'd use it very frequently. I'd probably use one of the various sharp swords in my collection instead.
As for vehicles, something like an up-armored range rover would be ideal. While I do have the welding knowledge to make such a thing happen, I don't just keep the materials onhand.
Outfit, not sure. I could probably craft my own mail shirt if I had enough time. I have padded HEMA gear which is strong enough to withstand bites and scratches, as it's proven strong enough to withstand repeated blows from blunt steel longswords. Eventually it would get torn up all the way down to the hard plastic reinforcements though, and then I'd need to find something else.
Based. Wish I had picked some of these up back in the day.
>grabs .22lr in closet
>grabs oil filter
>makes oil filter into make-shift suppressor
>grab several bricks of 22lr ammo also in the closet
>poke out the window of a 2nd story window and have a shooting gallery
>What gun do you grab?
Crossbow and Spear
>What vehicle do you use?
Small sailing ship with enough provisions for weeks and adequate living facilities
>What's your outfit?
Probably a shirt and trousers or something like that no need to add more weight if they can outrun me.
Nothing
>Lock metal door in front of house
>Fill bathtub filled with water
>Human can survive 2 months without food
Just waiting it out.
Get myself, my family, a few thousand rounds of ammo, my bugout food supply, my sloppy milspec AR, and load up in the van
Drive slightly outside of town where there are 10 trillion deer, no people, visibility for miles, and vanlife it up until the crank-powered radio says the coast is clear
so you expect everyone else to do your fighting, pussy?
Not my problem
if everything is a gay like you, how will the zombies ever be killed?
everyone
Diving suit for bites, full plate and a polearm, smallsword as a sidearm, hunting rifle against looters/other humans.
>What gun do you grab?
None. I deploy the barbed wire coils and nail boards and scope out the nearest solar panel distributor so I can stage a raid. It will be a silenced unique x.51 22LR with still nop.5 silencer and a custom Barnet panzer II with 175lb prod and broadheads with no blades just the bone splitter tips. Probably go with a digital NV with automated inclinometer, rangefinder and ballistic comp for darkness. Small quadcopter drone dropping nail gun blank bomblets to create plans C&D for those situations. For a lot of reasons I'll be staying where I am and catching up on my reading because I have kept a 7000 volume library for just this occasion and I have a multimedia library and solar for one movie a day to. I'll be going full omega man. I have already since 2019. (note to self need to get a copy of Woodstock on DVD so after apocalypse can do full tribute to Charleston Heston). For melee I guess the promotional navy seal viydya Tomahawk SOG Voodoo Hawk as I have it and have no other purpose for it and it has never been used. For anything. Ever.
"That was an effort to raise a lot of money for charity, and we were well on our way to raising a lot of money with that tomahawk, but I don't know what will happen with that now," he said. "That whole effort, we've been working with those partners because we wanted to be authentic, and we wanted to give back to the communities. Every one of those partners, none of them paid a dime for product placement - all the money generated went to Project Honor."
He also claimed that the "authenticity" EA and his studio Danger Close were striving for in Medal of Honor Warfighter made these partnerships sensible and logical.
"We're making a first-person shooter and it fits. If we were doing Need for Speed we'd do something different. If I was doing FIFA it'd be something different. But we're making a first-person shooter about the warfighter. If we partnered with another brand it wouldn't make sense and it wouldn't be authentic."
When asked whether he was concerned that gamers wouldn't have enough experience to wield a real-life tomahawk responsibly, he said that games wouldn't influence the way people behaved in real life.
"It's an experience, and it's a video game, and they're going on that journey and learning about these group of people. It doesn't mean that they have any less respect for these. Maybe it's a cultural thing," he said.
>shitpost on PrepHole until internet and/or electricity dies completely
>grab largest kitchen knife and bury it in my own neck
>nogunz gayet
Shove furniture against door, get as much water in containers as possible and twiddle my thumbs until they decompose.
To answer your question, I'd load up into the car and try to make it out into the wilderness. The initial gauntlet run out of civilization would be by far the most dangerous part. I'd try to get across the border into Canada, and as far north as I can tolerate. Lower pop + harsher weather should make the initial outbreak much easier to survive in terms of zombies. In terms of survival, well, let's hope I don't freeze or starve to death. After the initial wave, maybe a two years in, I'd travel as far south as possible. A wet, hot environment would cause the zombies to decay extremely quickly.
Though, the entire concept of an instantaneous zombie outbreak is ridiculous. It would be at least 6 months between the zombie plague first hitting mass media, and the first city de facto turning like you'd see in a movie. You'd have time to gtfo, or else you'd be infected before you even knew.
Guns are risky but necessary. Rifle, shotgun, handgun. Remember you're defending yourself against zombies and against humans. Use them sparingly or not at all if you can. The noise generated by the guns can be used to your advantage if you play it smart. Draw them away from your base/towards enemies. Cars are similar. They're massive zombie magnets, but you have to move long distances quickly so you have no other choice.
A melee weapon is obviously necessary. You need something with good stopping power (zombies don't feel pain), range, and ease of use and transport. A winged spear, a partisan, maybe even a trident or bident, would be all be good choices. I would avoid halberds, poleaxes, etc. Anything using a more slash or crush based technique would be liable to splatter you with zombie blood. Also, grab a shield and some good leathers, or thick cloth armor. Like a gambeson. As far as ranged, crossbow is your best bet. A recurve bow would be simpler and better, but they're not very easy to use.
Really, this all depends on the rules and scenario
In reality I'd suicide day 1.
1911. Start putting 2x4 wood planks on the windows, 5 each should do.
The first round I wouldn't shoot, just melee. Saves ammo incase Max Ammo comes later than expected. Rounds 2 and 3 id shoot them a couple times before finishing them with melee to farm even more points, I'd let the zombies break the planks so I can farm points by rebuilding them after I melee them.
Once I have enough points I'd use a frag to make a crawler and buy a couple doors and hit the mystery box. Hopefully score a PPSH, then I'd farm points for another round or two and get Juggernaut.
