unless you make it into a special forces unit the army and marines don't actually do shit anymore. You'd spend most of your time marching around 70 pounds of gear and then when you get ambushed unless you kill the guy right away you are under orders to not go killing people because you might hurt a civilian, even though it's the very same people who hate you and are doing the shit.
>tfw washed out of RASP >tfw got told point blank I had the wrong personality for special operations >tfw spent 4 years sweeping a motor pool while my buddies who got their tan/green berets got to fight ISIS
quiet but not socially moronic. can work alone or in a team equally well. not a little b***h. doesn't lose his temper. has ideals, but not an idealist.
that's about it. it's the standard "quietly competent huwite male patriot" stereotype.
>ah yes it was totally worth it to sacrifice my life for the elites who will be in their million dollar yachts with super models while I rot on the ground in some third world hell hole
>if I could go back in time 7 years I'd have signed up with the military
first of all, you didn't then, so why should we believe you? secondly outside of Iraq kino there hasn't been a good reason for anyone who can currently join the military to do so.
Couldn't you just hide threads you dislike instead of bumping dying threads? I'm guessing there's a specific thread you are trying to get to page ten. You did the same with the Green Beret thread.
I was having this talk with my old friend, we were both indoctrinated to think the military and guns were evil in school. We both got really into MMA, fought amateur in the States and MT in Thailand. But have nothing to show for it except damaged bodies. At least in the military I’d have some money or assistance applying for government jobs.

I can't think of a worse period in military history to be nostalgic for.
2003 was 7 years ago.

just wait for the selective service. if it comes to it they will raise the age to 35.
Sucks to be American, you can join UKSF at 42
https://www.army.mod.uk/who-we-are/corps-regiments-and-units/uk-special-forces-reserve/21-23-sas-r/
if at 42 you can still keep up with the youngins you have earned your spot
the average age of a green beret is 31
They didn't start training at 31 though
God-beard
>ah yes it was totally worth it to sacrifice my life for the elites who will be in their million dollar yachts with super models while I rot on the ground in some third world hell hole
That's a Frog who was tasked with hostage rescue
>No I should leave this guy to get executed by ragheads
No dumbass. For the training.

>Someone's thoughts don't change over the years
Did you feel smart typing this out?
>drop leg holster, quad rail, and slick body armor
lol that picture is 20 years old, you need to adjust the settings on your time machine zoomzoom
He just reminds me of Dusty from Medal of Honor, I also know that picture generates some seethe because of the guy's beard, boomboom.
>big bushy beard
>little to no muscle mass
Is this the "masculinity" I've heard so much about?
the OG operators look like a dad at the local hardware store shopping for lumber for a new deck
>vining presiding
And you would be out for 2 with busted knees and not a kill to your name. A nice $300 a month for the rest of your life wouldn't hurt, though.
couldnt you have replied your failure in the MEG general rather than making a slide thread?

That guy has serious issues. Bet you he gets 80% disability claiming PTSD and hearing loss.

Think of all the lady boy bussy you clapped anon
Often the strip clubs will switch between girls and lady-boys and some were hotter than most American women.
i can't wait to die for a country under the thumb of billionaires and elites who control everything and keep down the middle/working class
Like russia?
Russia doesnt have a middle class.
