You never hear much about this cute lil baby 1911. Is it any good? I know there is a mag safety but I heard it's easy to disable.
Mostly wanted for use in target/plinking (good trigger, decent sight radius) and also for open carry innawoods.

.380 1911s are gay
Less gay than a 9mm 1911. At least .380ACP was designed by Browning, unlike 9mm.
This, also the best and gayest of .380 "1911s" is sig p238 with a rainbow slide
One issue I found holding it at a store was that I couldn't reliably deactivate the grip safety if I was also thumb clamping the thumb safety (as you should be doing on 1911 style handguns).
May or may not be an issue for you depending on the shape of your hand.
Eh commander models are kind of a b***h but the beat out pocket ponies for comfortable shooting. You can get some steel shit for cheap and blast away if that's what you're after though.
I want a 1911 in .25 ACP.
You could probably double stack it and get like 20 rounds. Not sure if rimmed cases can double stack well considering they already have minor issues with single stack
>You could probably double stack it and get like 20 rounds
That would actually be neat.

They do just fine in Scorpion or CZ83. Even though they are just semi-rimmed, aren't they?
I think with regards to .32ACP. European brass has more of a rounded edge forward of the rim so it doesn't lock up as easily.
I want a 1911 in .50 AE
I got you senpai
I like mine a lot.
They're really soft shooting and fun, I have no purpose for them but I really enjoy being near one.
Back in the 70s Star of Spain made the BKS "Starlight", a smol 9mm shorter in all dimensions than a 1911. Single-stack magazine.
Aluminum frame, so std pressure only.
I had the Browning for a while, got it for the wife's tiny hands. She enjoyed shooting it, and loved the pearl and gold Browning grips I got her, felt great In the hand, but I ended up selling it and buying a P238 for her to pocket carry. Noone makes holsters for it, and mags are expensive, it shoots nice and is a 80% sized novelty.
Shoot some water jugs with it and you will get your answer. Looks like a decent CC gun to me.
