They're also trash.
Best thing they have going for them is when some hollywood halfwit wants a omgwowiyzowie gun prop and it shows up in a thing
But how? How does the one trigger do each barrel individually? Or is there something you have to do between shots before you pull the trigger again?
I'm not going to shit on you because you at least made it clear you weren't sure but no, that's volley fire and legal. Two or more shots at a time (with no delay in between) from multiple barrels is a-ok.

aren't they pieces of shit that can't hit the broadside of a barn plus with a trigger so stiff you need the two finger one it comes with?

Yeah barrels aren't really aligned well IIRC and trigger "requires a pull exceeding 20 pounds-force (89 N)". Not sure if the barrel alignment was fixed in gen 2. It's really a close range point and shoot gun for defense.

it's some niche gun that tries to squeeze as much stopping power out of a .22 pocket pistol as possible and fails horribly even if the trigger pull were magically fine and the barrel manufacturing was in spec it's got severe like: >2 inch barrel is so short .22 wmr has the same performance as .22 lr >4 shot capacity >all with less combined muzzle energy than even some .380 loads
I guess for the latter you could make the shot placement argument but under that logic even a taurus judge would do better
it's a gimmick gun with terrible execution only way they sell is to the totally uninformed and the worst part is they marketed it towards people of the weaker sort that would be better suited for .22 only to make it unusable to them

I was just thinking a .44 magnum three barrel derringer might not be a half bad cc pistol maybe with improved metallurgy to thin down the barrels and a different layout maybe even bullpup to make it more compact
the idea of a mini hand cannon just seems real neat I'd love to see something like a glock 29 in .44 magnum too
>posts stock image because he doesn't actually own one
You got me. I have the ss4, but I'm gonna get the roudy next week when my LGS gets the order in. The ss4 is just a little too big for pocket carry.
Compared to other guns it looks like the Alien-4-hybrid compared to other Aliens.
Pocket sized big bore?
4 barrels is better
How do these actually work? Does it fire all 4 at once, one at a time, two at a time?
1 at a time

Rotating firing pin mechanism that has "teeth" which pushes it one quarter turn on each trigger pull IIRC. Kind of like a Brownie (maybe?).
Ooooh that makes a lot of sense. That’s pretty badass. I love old mechanics like that.
any more than one shot per trigger pull makes it a machine gun I think

Would.
They're under $400 new btw.

You gotta admit though, it is the very best in its obscure niche of bomb proof absurdly heavy high caliber pocket cannons.
No it ain't.
