Have a 10.3” slickside a1 upper and that b***h is light. Ive got a 10.5” and an 11.5” too, one with a titanium can and its a real handy rifle to shoot and carry around. Id say less than 6 pounds
Never ever. I totally didn't buy this British/export model 10/22 despite already owning one I've spent over $1k on for hunting. I'm also totally not planning on buying an adapter and a second silencer for this one as well or anything either.
Not exactly
I have two ARs in different lengths (16" and 20") and I have a Mossberg 500 and a 590.
Otherwise, all of my guns are the only one of that model that I have.
Frick if I know I bough it for 200 since the seller said it had bad headspace as he got it form a consignment in which the rifle was headpsace by a gunsmith alledgey. It could be the gunsmith used sami spec gages that give a wrong reading or this cursed smle rifle is just worn out. It does have only one DP mark on the forend but it maybe be someone un sportizering no clue. Kind of tempted to place in a vice and tie a string to shoot it for the lol's.
Forgot to ask if those shotguns are yours. If so, you're a bastard. I think they look pretty nice with metal mags. Wonder if any have full wood furniture. They do look 870 compatible though, if not built off the 870 design.
In the case of someone like Jerry Lewis it actually makes sense to own multiples of a concealable handgun like that. You just have a copy wherever you regularly travel to and save the hassle of going through the airport with a gun
Identical guns, no. Why would you get more than one? Spare parts? Buy spares of the consumable wear items like barrels and bolts (you should already have spares).
the SVD has an original matching pso-1 scope, while the Tigr has a belarusian POSP (I replaced it with a modern russian pso recently but the pic is old) they are both really clear optic, why would they be foggy?
I was considering it
I think the only way it makes sense is if you are either buying a certain handgun type or you are buying the best gun for the militia who wasnt wise enough to buy it themselves before the israelites pull the drain on the tub that is our monetary system
the israelites have been bathing in the tub for too long so they must now change the water and fill it up again
I have over half a dozen S&W auto loaders in 9 and 40
They all use the same mags and the internal parts are the same so in the unlikely event that something were to break, I'd have some backups
Only thing I have two of "the same" is 1911s. But one is a Tisas and the other a Ruger. One thing I never got was when people buy the EXACT same gun more than once. Makes no sense, unless its used for a spouse or family member.
(Me)
Also its kind of different when they are old military surplus/historical pieces because theres sometimes a lot of story behind each piece. But then you have autists who buy 6 Glock 17s
>be me >sell firearms >at least once a week some moron comes in to buy a glock >proceed to tell me how they have 5-6-7 sometimes 8 other glocks >all 9mm
digganobs tounge my anus
I get it if you are buying same caluber but different brands of guns that are different styles. But Ive cut myself off after having an SR9, Glock 17 and Beretta 92 and I already feel moronic.
Its justifiable if you live on a homestead with 10 kids and a wife and several farm hands that you have to arm to keep your property safe from bandits or injuns. But that was like 150 years ago..
depends on the gun. Ignore the obvious ARlower is technically a gun therefor a lot of people do buy multiple copies.
Some people will buy the same gun but slightly different variations for collectors or specific use case purposes. Some people will buy multiple copies of the same gun if they're planning to modify them or do some form of conversion with them. Some people might buy multiple of the same gun to share with others when they hunt or whatever. Some people might buy multiple copies of the same gun to have as a backup in the event they use it for work or hunting and want to have a second one available immediately if the other is down for repair or something.
Its not the kind of thing maybe your casual person would every do, but a lot of people dont own guns or only own 1 maybe two guns. When you start talking about collectors, enthusiasts, or people who have practical applications for them I'd say its pretty common for someone to have some form of a repeat or duplicate.
>You can find 8mm Mauser while they can't find .303 British.
Yeah but the guns are easily 2x more expensive than British guns. And there's more competition for them, especially when you're chasing matching examples like I do.
I have two identical PSA ARs. Only difference is I put a carry handle on one and a red doot on the other. I think I got them on sale for like $800 including 10 mags and a 3rd lower that I have no plans for, wanna get more hand guns...
It makes sense to build/obtain multiple of the exact same rifle if you plan to arm and train multiple people to do the same thing and act/think as a unit.
Uniformity is good for cohesion, logistics, and a sense of belonging. All of these things are conducive towards discipline and success when organizing people in arms.
I can believe it. I watched what they were doing 15 years ago and told my dad to buy every one he saw. He bought zero insisting that they would be $800 forever "because the vets will die off and more will come onto the market".
But he took my advice on the carbines and has about 20.
Yeah, one should be registered and legal, and the other ghost. When the cops come to confiscate your registered piece, give it to them, along with some ammo and a mag or two, while keeping your stash secure. Example: Zastava Z pap and M70ab2 rifles.
Look up "Bosnia, a year in hell" story, by Selco Begovic.
I buy one gun because that's all you need
thanks for coming to my ted talk
no, unless you count ARs in different calibers, but I consider those different guns for the sake of this discussion.
Well, yes.
Because logistics and commonality of training.
But you knew that.
I have two colt 1903s and two sig p230s.
Nope, that'd be stupid
do you know how much that 10.3" weighs? it looks really light and I'm thinking of putting together an upper just like that when I get a suppressor
Have a 10.3” slickside a1 upper and that b***h is light. Ive got a 10.5” and an 11.5” too, one with a titanium can and its a real handy rifle to shoot and carry around. Id say less than 6 pounds
It's cute how AR fanboys don't think this is owning multiples of the same gun
Many AR fanboys still have an umbilical chord wrapped around their necks
I do for millsurp. I just grab parts otherwise.
I had two 1911s, one in 22lr, one in 45acp. Let me get a lot of trigger time in on my carry gun.
Peak consoomer homosexual behavior
do you know what a consoomer is anon
the elites dont want you to know this but the hi points in the river are free. you can take them home. i have 458 river hi points
I got a friend who found one when he was magnet fishing in the schuylkill river.
Never ever. I totally didn't buy this British/export model 10/22 despite already owning one I've spent over $1k on for hunting. I'm also totally not planning on buying an adapter and a second silencer for this one as well or anything either.
I own five AR with 14.5" barrels in 5.56.
Here in Canuckistan, Yes some do for the classic old stuff the Canadian Gestapo have prohibited. Parts, preservation, etc.
Not exactly

I have 13 Lee Enfields
i have 14 mosin nagants
you're not me
I only have 4 🙁
I have only 2 and I'm pretty sure my smle will blow up when I shoot it
Does it have proper headspace
Frick if I know I bough it for 200 since the seller said it had bad headspace as he got it form a consignment in which the rifle was headpsace by a gunsmith alledgey. It could be the gunsmith used sami spec gages that give a wrong reading or this cursed smle rifle is just worn out. I currently don't but if I could finally justify it I would just keep buying browning hi powers
Are you fishing for someone making a militia or something agent?
Nope, the only exception I would make is for Ruger standards, but that's just because I think they're neat
Forgot to ask if those shotguns are yours. If so, you're a bastard. I think they look pretty nice with metal mags. Wonder if any have full wood furniture. They do look 870 compatible though, if not built off the 870 design.
>you don't buy multiples of the same gun, do you?
My boy Jerry does it right.
No they're all different
Is that a spanish calvalry carbine? What's it chambered in, 7x57?
couldn't be me
Are those the original russian scopes?
Can you even see through them or are they foggy as hell?
the SVD has an original matching pso-1 scope, while the Tigr has a belarusian POSP (I replaced it with a modern russian pso recently but the pic is old) they are both really clear optic, why would they be foggy?
I just thought it was common for old russian scopes to be foggy in general.
I now realize I was probably wrong.
With optics it usually depends on how they were stored and if mold grew inside.
I was considering it

Not unless they're in different chamberings, or different configurations. Like I have a Mossberg 500 Field and a 590A1, so I guess that's a grey area.
Only thing I have two of "the same" is 1911s. But one is a Tisas and the other a Ruger. One thing I never got was when people buy the EXACT same gun more than once. Makes no sense, unless its used for a spouse or family member.

I have 2 glocks that shoot 2 different calibers and I feel stupid for doing that.
I owned 4 carcanos at the same time at one point. I've owned 5 total now.
Its justifiable if you live on a homestead with 10 kids and a wife and several farm hands that you have to arm to keep your property safe from bandits or injuns. But that was like 150 years ago..
It's a good idea to buy at least another of what you use as self-defense in case it gets taken by police after DGU.
>he doesn't carry multiple backup webley's
depends on the gun. Ignore the obvious ARlower is technically a gun therefor a lot of people do buy multiple copies.

Which grip do you prefer?
I have 2 K98ks and am looking for more but that's only because I was cursed with German autism.
>I was cursed with German autism.
You're luckier than the people with British autism. You can find 8mm mauser while they can't find .303 british.
>You can find 8mm Mauser while they can't find .303 British.
Yeah but the guns are easily 2x more expensive than British guns. And there's more competition for them, especially when you're chasing matching examples like I do.
>they can't find .303 british for their hilariously low price range
ftfy. 303 is plentiful, it's just expensive now
I can't help but buy an AR in every length
I have 7 mosins, 4 of which are m91 but each is a different manufacturer. So depending on how you look at it, yes and no
I have two identical PSA ARs. Only difference is I put a carry handle on one and a red doot on the other. I think I got them on sale for like $800 including 10 mags and a 3rd lower that I have no plans for, wanna get more hand guns...

That would be stupid OP
It’s not like I’m going to get 5 of the same AR to arm my family/friends for when shit gets froggy
I have 30+ M1s
Like m1 garands or carbines?
Yeah
Garands
Impressive wish I had one
I can believe it. I watched what they were doing 15 years ago and told my dad to buy every one he saw. He bought zero insisting that they would be $800 forever "because the vets will die off and more will come onto the market".
