Every modern Taurus firearm is superior than any NuSmith. Rugers are better too, but they are so horrendously, ridiculously ugly, only idiots buy them

The only thing Taurus is better at is making it impossible to find a holster or accessories, while also being vastly uglier than Smiths, almost rivaling Ruger in how shit the industrial design is if you want to get into aesthetics.
