>Glocks shit tier ergos or trigger.
This is it. They were a novelty and more in the 80s when revolvers were king and semi-autos were considered unreliable. This newfangled space-age heater-blaster came out and just >worked every time
Shit was crazy. Now that's every modern production pistol. This is what they mean by institutional racism, just guns keeping the CZ man down
As far as 'spirit' of a gun goes, these have as much spirit and personality of a 10 year old abused shovel.
Theyre not comfortable, the stock trigger sucks, I had to put about 300 into my gen 4 19 to make it bearable... Still I ended up trading it, and don't miss it one bit.
Only reason I got it to begin with was because of so much aftermarket.. I see you need that just to have a decent pistol.
>weird grip angle, 1911 angle just feels better >meh trigger
it's the Toyota Corolla of guns anon, nothing wrong with it but gunsoomerism demands you buy 1eet 0per8or gear and weapons to stunt on strangers online
also the XD-M is better
Because one might have different needs than a large agency. Glocks are really good if you are an institutional customer that has huge stock, armorers and needs to train a lot of people on a common platform. If you have to buy 1000 mags a year or 500 recoil springs, Glock is where it’s at. If you are an individual with none of those needs, Glock doesn’t really provide a lot of benefits.
Bought the P210 for 430 USD and got the K11 as a gift from a friend who found it in a cellar and didn't want it.
A Glock is about 700-800 USD where i live so the p210 and K11 was the cheapest option.. Would like to own a Glock though..
M&P is both a better handgun and designed/manufactured in the USA. I would even take a nuSIG P320 over a Glock just because it was designed by Americans.
All polymer striker 9s within +/- $200 of glock are functionally identical. Similar capacity, indistinguishable reliability. The only difference between them is how it feels in your hand. I like how glocks feel, but M&P, Walther, FN, Sig, whatever are all equally good.
>Why would anyone buy anything other than a glock
They have money but don't want spend it on a good but overly-glorified pistol that they'll need to spend the price of the gun itself again getting it tweaked and customized with features I could just have if I bought a different pistol.
Glocks are good pistols, but pretending they're the only sensible option available to an American private citizen with disposable income is moronic.
And no I'm not saying Glocks are exclusively for poors or some shit, either. >t. also owns 2 Glocks and like them just fine.
Glocks, 1911's, magnum revolvers, and .22lr target pistols. Those are the keys to success right there, God bless America. Can throw a snub nose in there if you like.
No, but the lack of a manually operated safety (trigger safety doesn't count since it is meant to reduce the chance of something, for example a branch, pulling the trigger, it doesn't eliminate it though) increases the likelyhood of somebody accidentaly or negligently firing off a round . The reason the original doesn't have a manual safety is because they are very difficult to operate with gloves such as ones used in the austrian alps during winter.
You basically have 3 ways to go about it > trigger discipline and constant mindfulness of the triggerguard including clothing while paying attention to a lot of other things. >manual safety and the musclememory to dissengage and engage when aquiring a target or switching to another stance > DA to SA gun.
Despite this reading like im shitting on it, it is a fine gun that will shoot when unholstered in an emergency.
Every aproach has its flaws, and in 99% of shooting situation it wont matter if you have an m9, a glock, a usp or another high capacity service pistol. Even those can be remedyed with training to an extent
>Hipoint is cheaper >Da to SA have a very "safe" first triggerpull with all others being a very good SA >SA only autoloaders usually have good triggers >optimal ergos are different for everybody >there are other polymer framed strikerfired pistols >some like wheelgats >they can be considered by some to be exceptionally ugly >inherited a gun
Other tingz shootz boolet beside glok
Because it's fricking hideous. The Glock at least has a minimalist, one might even say brutalist, aesthetic to it. That thing looks like the Slovenians cobbled together an APX and a TX22 and called it a day. Disgusting.
They're "good enough" for everyone. There are just better options these days. Departments/units/agencies have a process to change their issued weapons and that costs time and money that isn't worth the squeeze.
You as the anon at the gun counter should not buy a Glock. >muh customization
That's because so much of the Glock sucks when stock. The trigger is mushy with a shitty break and reset, the sights are a goofy U, and the slide release is itty bitty. But since you're here and your hobby is to >consoom
Glock lets you play adult Legos
>random internet man who says I shouldn't buy a Glock because... because I just shouldn't!
vs. >the team of professionals whose sole purpose in life is to repel a direct attack on the President of the United States.
Man, this is so hard! I just don't know who to listen to!
You must do what you feel is right, of course.
Perhaps shoot a Glock alongside a few other pistols at your local range without a predetermined outcome?
Or stick with Glock and feel smug.
The options are endless anon, but don't let me or anyone tell you how to live.
I forget. Wasn't there an intelligence agency or some other group that tried their damndest not to get issued Glocks just for the paper pushers to buy them anyways?
Better ergos, better trigger, better iron sights and optics mounting systems. Glocks aren't really ever the wrong answer. But in 2023 if you care you can get a gun that better matches your priorities if you spend any effort.
I've owned like 5 Glocks and they all fricking sucked, so that's why.
Spend $1000+ and get one Taran Tactical moded.
Because there are plenty of handguns that are just as reliable, but don’t have Glocks shit tier ergos or trigger.

I unironically love this. Also you can get wood grips for it.
honestly disgusting looking anon

I hate Glock magazines

Beauties, both of them. I love seeing gun owners that actually take proper care of their guns.
M&P is both a better handgun and designed/manufactured in the USA. I would even take a nuSIG P320 over a Glock just because it was designed by Americans.
>shitting my pants to own the libs
the m&p is better, but the 320 is vomit in a McDonald's bag full of cigarette butts
and Glock is fine
they wouldnt
anyone who prefers anything else has never tried one

The p80 and the gst-9 are better glocks than glock itself.
so are PSA Daggers
I really like the grip on Daggers
Don't those have pin walkouts?
>p80
Lacks the widespread holster support that Glock brand Glocks have
To be a special little snowflake.

They're fine enough but nothing spectacular, but Glocksuckers push them as God's gift to /k/

Taste for one. Having working eyes is another thing. Also some people prefer for the first shot of the new magazine to not be a jam.
Frick ya mudda
Because i wanted an HK
No safety
We have an accidental discharge in Austrian military every now and then
That's not the gun's fault.
No, but the lack of a manually operated safety (trigger safety doesn't count since it is meant to reduce the chance of something, for example a branch, pulling the trigger, it doesn't eliminate it though) increases the likelyhood of somebody accidentaly or negligently firing off a round . I don't like grips that feel like a 2x4.
Its made of plastic. I don't like plastic guns. And like 90 percent of generic shotshow slop nowadays is made of plastic. Glock ruined handguns
>Literally a Glock but cheaper
Why hasn't the AREX Delta taken off?
Because it's fricking hideous. The Glock at least has a minimalist, one might even say brutalist, aesthetic to it. That thing looks like the Slovenians cobbled together an APX and a TX22 and called it a day. Disgusting.
It’s the slide cuts and angular nonsense combined with the horrid trigger guard, just horrible aesthetic design.
If it's good enough for the Secret Service's Counter Assault Team, it's good enough for me.

Ya and the whole fricking US mil chose the sig p320 over the glock so ya I guess frick glock.
moron

Because there are other flavors than vanilla.
Personal taste and marginal gains.
