Bug spray is a mene that doesn't even work if the bugs think you're tasty enough. One guaranteed method of insect repellent is to make a fire and soak up all the fire smell. Bugs hate that shit, they think you're some kind of wildfire and have a primal urge to stay away.

      permethrin is 100% effective, moron.
it kills most insects instantly on contact.

Stop projecting downie. I've researched and tested permethrin extensively. It takes five to ten minutes to kill when freshly applied, and degrades over time. So it's great on ticks but so so on flying insects. If a mosquito lands on your shirt it might kill it eventually, but not before they bite you.

its hard to find like that because its a US brand
          also
          IT KILLS CATS
          IT DAMAGES CORAL
European's tend to use trains and airplanes for trips to BOTH cat filled places, coral filled places, and beaches/booze filled places

Permethrin is a chemical, not a brand, and it is available worldwide - including places with cats and coral.

Yep. I got some very serious tick bites from very early this season, that haven't fully healed yet. I wasn't using deet or permethrin. Since I've been using deet with permethrin, and no bites since after dozens of PrepHoleings. Permethrin has been a final solution to the tick problem.

      >insect repellent is a meme
      >coat yourself in smoke bro, it works.
You're an idiot. Also why not dilute liquid smoke and use it as bug spray then?

Grow lemongrass in your yard. When you go hiking rub it all over your clothes and legs. Bam no more ticks or biters. The essential oil work well too. Better than any of this cancer shit.

    >permethrin
Just use picaridin ... also permethrin is available in the EU, for use as an indoors insecticide, but its agricultiural use was banned due to environmental impact of industrial use.

literally just typed in permetrin to a price comaprision site, and it showed hundreds of product immediately.

      >but its agricultiural use was banned due to environmental impact
yes. it ends up in rivers and kills nearly all aquatic life.

As do most ag chemicals used on an industrial scale, like Roundup and other problematic pesticides. You shouldn't go dumping barrels of Off repellent into rivers either.

      Funny.

But that is referring to chirality. Think of the molecule as asymmetrical with a left and right hand version. This is the ratio between the one you want and the other kind. Idk if the troony peretherin is literally worthless or not.

that is not what asymmetry means

Here, it's Walter White explaining chirality

Just go carnivore if you have a trip coming. Guaranteed insects lose interest in you.

I think it's interesting that the US Army, which has no problems with securing EPA and OSHA waivers for diesel engines and lead exposure, does not treat uniforms for pregnant women with permethrin.
