yes. hk would be a closer analogue to iphone but even they are modified frequently, though less often then glocks. definitely the consumer culture and overpaying for "perfection" and shunning self service match
It always looks more or less the same over the years, it just works, has lead the industry, is overpriced and has huge brand value.
But the Glock is also very customizable and doesn´t have that high end, super expensive image of the Iphone. So maybe the Iphone is more similar to an expensive 1911?
You can buy a Glock and trust that you know what you're getting, no matter the caliber or size. Assuming you've shot a Glock brand Glock before. They're dependable, malfunctions are simple to fix (like most tilt locking), but most importantly, they're better than 75% of what's out there when it comes to being a hard use pistol. The replacement parts are available and cheap. You can rebuild all of the internals (extractor+spring, striker+spring, recoil spring assm., trigger+bar+sear) for under $120.
I've bought so many guns over the years. I've contemplated selling all but my Glocks (19, 26). Why? Because they're the best value...hands down.
Glock is by no means the apple of the gun world. Apple produces overpriced and over-hyped devices with proprietary parts. If anything Apple of the firearms manufacturing community would be Sig Sauer. Glock if anything is more like android in that there’s a million copies of it, it’s relatively cheap in all versions, and easily modded by even morons and Black folk.
>I dislike Apple >I dislike GLOCKs >Therefore GLOCKs are the iPhone of guns
Aftermarket support and their price parity with similar guns indicates that you do not understand why people who actually have experience with Apple dislike them, you're just spewing memes because you're 14.
>cheapest shit you could ever get >endless customisations >acknowledged >acknowledged
Do we agree to disagree that the comparison is bull? The gun is just fine, can be fantastic when worked upon, and spending money into that some guns that have some of the features from the getgo. What exaclty was your point?
Never understood this comparison, other than that they're both simple to operate. Apple products notoriously have always had poor options for customizations. Glock is know for the exact opposite.
I think HK is more comparable if anything >ludicrously expensive but well made stuff that people pay hand over fist for >new releases are usually iterative of other stuff >they hate consumers
HK Black folk will seethe but it's true
I like to think of it as the Honda Accors of guns. You won’t ever get a boner from it but you also will just need oil changes to run on and on. (And that’s a good thing)
Glock's are to plastic guns what Coca-Cola is to soft drinks or Kleenex is to tissue paper. To so many people all plastic guns are "Glocks".
I stick to them because I've never seen much difference between any of the plastic guns and I'm comfortable with all of mine having basically the same ergonomics. I might have settled on the HK's or the M&P (or whatever the hell Springfield Armory is making) but I adopted early and so when I carry a plastic gun I carry a Glock.
>I bought my first gun last month, a new 9mm Glock 17 Gen 3 >It cost $530 total, because I'm too stupid to shop around >I got a $50 digital coupon in an email from Sportsman's Warehouse because I spend over $200 >It's only good from Jan 5th to 14th, so I have to wait before I can use it for some reason >Set a calendar notification for the 5th, but completely ignored it and forgot >Got an email on the 13th saying all 9mm ammo is now on sale >Buy 150 rounds of Winchester Target 9mm 124gr FMJ ammo on their website, will pick-up tomorrow >Total: $10.57
I know I overpaid for the gun, but I'm happy with how much I saved on ammo, even though I probably shouldn't be.
Because it was actually designed in California.
You mean the android of the gun world.
Last I check i-zhangs can't be easily modded and is not the most common phone platform used.
yes. hk would be a closer analogue to iphone but even they are modified frequently, though less often then glocks. definitely the consumer culture and overpaying for "perfection" and shunning self service match
Most established HK guns have tons of licensed producers. They don't hold a monopoly.
tpbp
Why is glawk the hand grenade version of the gun world?
i miss the glocknade memes
morons who should have never tried their hand (or what's left of it) at reloading.
These are all over-pressure ruptures from bad loads.
Cope
Me on the top centre.

They were made to be used by the simplest of minds; cops.
its not, its not nearly as overpriced to be a iphone of weapons
Clocks are cheap and extremely modular, what the frick are you talking about?

Glock is the Toyota of the gun world, not the iPhone.

Overpriced

Simple, user-friendly, reliable. I hate glocks personally but I’ll be the first to admit they do what they’re designed to do; put rounds down range.
*jams*
>*jams*
limp wristed homosexual
>better then everything else

Fricking brainlets.
That's not the P08.

why does your bed have pubic hair anon
Because it’s moronic consoomer user base can only think in brands.

>shit
there you go.
bump
Glock doesn't shatter when you drop it
I always thought Colt Python is the iPhone of the gun world

It's July, anon.
Are there always discounts in July?

Did you get vaxxed or something?
