This. This is why all those SOF have such a death grip on their pistols due to fricking glock and it's fatal flaw
I'm just glad sig got rid of that shit by raising the bore axis so that it'll knock itself back hard enough without any assistance from the user
>raising the bore axis
is that seriously all it takes?
Raising bore axis increases the possibility of a limp wrist failure. It's caused by the slide flipping too hard and redirecting the recoil force at an angle, which a high bore axis only exacerbates.
I don't hate Glocks, I nothing them. I have a 17 because I think it's important to be competent with them in order to be a well-rounded marksman, given how common they are, but I have no strong feelings about them - if they're shot properly, they work.
only nu k homosexuals/reddit tourists with puny colorful pinky cz gayguns and littledick steroid bloated siggers downtalk the pure efficient monolithic GLOCK
Because I don't like a product that needs aftermarket support to not suck, in an ideal world guns would be great right out of the box but I guess we can't have that
It’s not that I think they’re bad guns. They wouldn’t be so popular around the world if they were. I just think they’re ugly, and I can’t shoot them for shit.
Their are some reasons, mainly tht the striker gun scene is a lot more competitive and some that blow the Glock out of the water like a PDP, but other than that it is just contrarianism over Glock being ultra-popular
Let's put aside all the copes about NDs, jams, stovepipes, etc. It's just fricking redundant.
There was a point in time where Glocks were reasonably priced and the new TAC-larp go-to.
Now you can get a RIA .1911 for half the MSR of a middling Glock.
Glock is the poor man's Taurus and the rich man's SIG, and fricking outclassed in style, safety and performance, and now even price by a gun made a fricking century ago.
I don't hate Glocks but I wouldn't recommend them to a new shooter. Glock have been resting on their laurels for a while now and there are many better pistols in their market segment. They're not a bad gun but outside of LEO discounts they're not good value anymore.
Maturity is going full circle from trying all the other "just as good, no wait its actually better!" flavor of the month handguns back to realizing that glocks simply the best overall.
It's a mid tier gun that gets shilled nonstop as the end all be all by people who most likely replaced half of their Glocks with aftermarket parts.
Only reason it became prominent with police forces was due to being sold at manufacturing cost. Any PD with money to their name (Beverly Hills or even LAPD) avoid Glocks like the plague.
Redditors from gunnit. I didn't see any Glock hate before 2018 or so, it was just a basic b***h gun.
Same reason people see CZ as "soi" by the way.
Glocknade jokes go way back, anon
ok newbie
Glock has made (is making?) hand grenades.
this, been here since 2007, the hate ramped up directly proportional with the amount of Redditors that came for various reasons
Not holding the pistol tightly enough and the slide getting stuck because of it has gotten a great many killed

B8
This is a potential problem on every single short recoil operated pistol aka all of them
Some are more equal than others
some people wish it had an additional safety like a thumb switch which is fair honestly
Other companies have stepped up to offer better, or more exciting offerings.

square gun for squares
the kroger of handguns
Has the P320 even been in cool movies or games yet?
The worst game around.
According to imfdb, no.
No. Any SIG in movies are hammer variants like the 226

Could you pack more nonsense into one sentence?
>posts FN
no, its a colt
yes
no
maybe
u r g.a.y.
I accept "they're ugly" and "the trigger could be better." Every other criticism is shit.
because popular thing is le bad
t. sigger
if SIG only made handguns the term sigger wouldn't even exist change my mind
A lot of it is how popular they are. PrepHoleners are contrarians are heart even if this site has been mainstream for a decade or more.
How come /k/ loves the AR then? No rifle is more popular
Because you can dress it up to be your own special little gun. I guess glocks are customizable as well.
Because PrepHole is contrarian.

It's ugly
just watch a police shooting to see them Jam and stovepipe non stop.
>YoU WeReNt HoldiNg iT rIgHt
thats a trait of a reliable firearm alright.
Dumb name.

Zoomers will never know the era of $300 NIB Gen 3s
I hate them because they look fricking ugly.

in an alternate universe*
glocks are hilariously overpriced for what they are. Keep telling yourself that paypig
Glocks looks similar to wieners if you are dyslexic
Its Siggers
glockshills are the /k/ equivalent to itoddlers, more than willing to shell out thousands for 'new' garbage
I don't like tupperware guns.
I prefer Daewoo handguns. Their service to the Korean army has proven their effectiveness.
Daewho? Never heard of them.
Glocks sound like wieners and i aint gay.
default gun with "does it use glock magazines" userbase
I hate waking up to it
