In Chud's Fantasy Post-Apocalyptic Cinematic Universe, every nuclear desert cannibal rapist warlord will respect the NAP and happily trade weapons, food and nubile concubines for appropriately-measured quantities of boomer rock.
Silver will be virtually useless in a full-on collapse, due to its low value/weight ratio and lack of utility. Agfags buy silver hoping its value will skyrocket. It hasn't, but that hasn't stopped them from saying >just two more weeks, the dollar will collapse and we will become wealthy!
>practical applications
please, elaborate on the practical uses of silver and gold for an average Joe with a toolshed and a workbench
Silver is just cheaper than Gold. Most people cant afford Gold. You would rather have lots of silver than a little bit of gold. The value between the two will shrink if there is any kind of collapse. Gold will still be more valuable than silver but most likely silver would go up bit and gold would come down a bit. Relative to whatever you want to compare its value to.
Just want to add that Gold is a really interesting metal it doesn't occur naturally on earth. If you were to launch all the Gold into space it would never come back. They think it comes from super novas. So all the Gold thats here on earth came from some mass of energy that exploded awhile back.

bro, the same applies to basically any element heavier than iron.
Most people don't know the price of gold, and silver is nothing to them. Even if you could find someone to trade with, the risk of them following you home and killing you for whatever else your hoarding is very high. It doesn't make any practical sense. It's not too hard to store a couple years of all the supplies you would need, unless you live in a small apartment.
Look in which types of industries it is currently being used and to which industries it is an essential element.
There will always be demand for it and therefore it will always be valuable
it's a fucking scam. plenty of people here fell for it.
some just buy it as a store of value and the even more retarded people buy it a speculative investment
If you are ignorant of silvers medical applications I'm not sure I can help you. You know making a water tank out of silver keeps the water sterilized? Bacteria and molds can't grow or live on silver, why do you think dentures use silver
That isnt how value is determined tho. There is a huge surplus of silver relative to demand for it and speculation is much lower. Your picture is more an argument for gold being worth less than it currently is than silver being worth more.
NO! You don't understand!
In a collapse scenario people WILL give up their nutritious food, cigarettes, and coffee for my shiny metal! Why? Because uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... THEY JUST WILL OK?
its only a hedge against inflation and market collapse. It would be utterly useless in an actual societal collapse which is every 2nd posters fantasy here but will never happen, but let them have their dreams, they're not hurting anyone.
The problem is the fantasy that if society turns upside down, they will be on the top. When what would actually happen is there would be a period of chaos and people who couldnt make it now would just be dead when the chaos settles.
The same value, just much greater.
Why? Cz people will ACCEPT IT FOR EVERYTHING cz they know other people will accept it from them!
Really not that difficult to understand with a little common sense...which seems to be a critical shortage of nowadays...
Say you stockpiled a lot of foodstuff and you have some to trade it with...wouldn't you trade it for silver, knowing it has been uninflatable money for thousands of years and is accepted everywhere?
The fuck you wouldn't.
Besides, no collapse lasts forever, sooner or later some sort of order will reastablish itself and that will require sound money not pieces of toilet paper.
Gold price is massively inflated vs silver. There's about 16 parts silver on earth for every part of gold but the current spot rat is closer to 75x higher for gold. Mostly though there's a bunch of scams to get you to either buy at high prices or to buy precious metals that don't physically exist "paper" silver/gold.
melt it down and make weapons along with other useful materials
Americans only shoot school kids.
>melt it down and make weapons along with other useful materials
Do you want to hunt werewolves or what?
worst, garden gnomes
when the lights go out and man's numbers dwindle, the creatures from the past will slither from their holes and terrorize the earth once more.
increase it value 1000:1 with Colloidal silver/ Sell it to sick hippys
In Chud's Fantasy Post-Apocalyptic Cinematic Universe, every nuclear desert cannibal rapist warlord will respect the NAP and happily trade weapons, food and nubile concubines for appropriately-measured quantities of boomer rock.
third post best post.
actually true if you know history
oh so basically england for all history before 1947? dumb gay
>organized society using worthless metal as fiat instead of worthless paper.
Silver and gold have practical applications. Silver is easier for poor-fags to invest in, and it's easier to barter with.

>apartment
If it's in the city, your chances of survival are slim.
>If it's in the city, your chances of survival are slim.
Enough dead vaxxies to loot supplies from.
Do you really think that you are the only unvaxxed with that idea?
>what value will it have ?
Look in which types of industries it is currently being used and to which industries it is an essential element.
There will always be demand for it and therefore it will always be valuable
Now compare to colored paper.
bro almost every single one of those industries would dissappear if society collapsed
My unvaxxed sperm is worth more than that

we're expected to call men in dresses women in current year, its the most innocuous fantasy, let them have it
Silver stacking CHADS are going to live it up while the rest of you gays get anally raped by werewolves. Fucking idiots, we tried to warn you.

Silver is used in electronics and shit.
The post apocalyptic electronics manufacturing wasteland where silver is king.
Why do you care what other people choose to spend their resources on?
