      It's actually really interesting discussion by itself, the psychological mindset of a 2nd or 3rd generation italian immigrant. Killing a wolf was an honorable deed in 19th century rural Italy, but obviously there weren't any wolves in urban 20th century America so they had to go out and conceptualize a competitor or the "other" as a wolf.
