Getting very close to "we make shit suck on purpose cause it makes you big tough" territory that turdies love. Isn't that one of the reasons why enlistment in the US is dropping? All the tedious, pointless bullshit COs make folks do to "make 'em tough" and "we uphold tradition"? Y'know, stuff they don't have to put up with when they get a normal 9 to 5 for similar pay?
>Similar pay
Try significantly better pay. Even with like 8 years experience as an E6 you're making a whole 48k a year according to the army itself. Most people are probably gonna leave as an E3 or E4 after 4 years, so they'll be making 30k-34k a year by then. Whereas I can spend 2 months getting a certification and get a job paying 50k a year or like all my friends who went to college for a few years and are walking out at like 80k a year or more. Basically the military doesn't have much going for it besides the prestige of service (Which is, granted, a good reward in of itself)
To be fair the military does also come with pretty decent benefits during and after service and some ways to save costs so I'm not sure it's a comparable 34k. Still pretty terrible though.
You are saving significantly on free rent and health insurance vs having to pay for them yourself, even if the modern barracks have a 50/50 chance of being a death trap, or even better, BHA if you're married or they're out of barracks slots. GI bill also is a good chunk of money, though it's not direct cash during service. A 4 year commitment is honestly a pretty decent deal to get paid to go to college after, and while base pay does suck for enlisted, you can see some jobs getting very big retention bonuses to make up for this since it's the only area where the military can be discretionary in their pay. You can then also walk away with a decent disability rating by just documenting shit while you're in, and a vet gets massive priority for federal hiring. Overall, the military isn't a bad deal if you're looking at the total value provided and not just the take home cash at the end of each month, especially if you're gonna do 4 and out for the benefits or stick around for 20 for the pension. Any number in between, plus or minus the difference on the contract length for your MOS, is the only real losing move.
The delightful retirement package arrives quickly.
Few other jobs cover disability nearly as well. 20 years is done in a flash and even with a few more for the pay bump is not hard unless you're profoundly stupid or unlucky.
While active there are more benefits than just base pay. Free medical, food and shelter are on top of base pay. BAH helped pay off my mortgage for 14 years.

Ukraine is a good example of how once shit hits the fan all the fat gets trimmed real fast. They weren't the horde of undisciplined criminals that /misc/troons claim but they definitely weren't all above board either, corruption is seemingly inherent to the Slav lifestyle.
Ironically, the war in Ukraine will probably end up being a good thing for them in the end since it means they HAD to stop all the old Soviet-esque "backscratching" corruption and embezzlement simply to survive, and after the war ends and rebuilding efforts start there will be enough cash flowing around that greedy fricks will have an easier time doing things "right" than risking being c**ts.
Plus when The Kingdom of Monke is reduced to a very big graveyard that will remove one of the biggest sources of corruption- Russians.
Still better than trying to do a Russia "All our men are hard men, no b***hes here" strat.
Besides, the more people who can join an army without feeling like they need to give up their identity or culture, the unironically better performing that military is likely to be.

Military hegemon. Only Americans use the term 'world police', because that's the line you keep getting fed. US has zero regard for international law, and 'polices' nothing that is not in it's own interest to 'police'. Not saying that's right or wrong, that's just how it is.
US is not on the side of law, democracy, or justice. US is on the side of the US.
He is right tough.
They frequently refuse to sign international treaties into law even if their own diplomatic service got the ball rolling on writing those treaties.
But passing a law thar they'd used armed forces on an allied nation if for some reason someone of theirs got charged by the ICC for war crimes and was then stupid enough to leave the US isn't an issue.
To those with power the law is a tool not a restriction.
Doesn't matter if it's the US, the British empire or the chinks.
This is true. Anglos have a heard time containing their alcohol consumption. I witniss this regularly with the UK soldiers in my city and hear it from my friend in NZ.
Live in Southern Germany and it honestly depends on the beer. Some are complete dogshit (Fürstenberg) and some are absolutely godly
lets be real here. the budget is limited and you try to buy as cheap as possible. then there is also local politicians demanding the base has to "support local businesses" which means you are now forced to rotate buying from 4 different bakeries who obviously form a cartel to abuse the situation and demand outrageous prices for their air filled rolls and basically your military base now acts as a hidden subsidy for local food businesses and farms.
>all these German beer to choose from >Pick up 2 cases of Slots Pilsner, one of the absolute worst, most vile Danish beers
What the FRICK is wrong with Submariners?
The usa has started expecting unsatisfying and unrealistic behavior from males, and they can just take it further with military and prisoners because they are not free men but owned by the state.
Stuff like no drinking, restricting pornography or smoking.
They are basicly children with rules made by mommy.
Back in ww2 days men were expected to get into some fights, have porn, chain smoke, and catch diseases from prostitutes in every port.
The military is the only place infidelity is actualy a crime. So while thier wives screw other men when they are deployed the military is ready to punish them if they get caught being an old fashioned soldier.
But what do you expect?
They are not expected to keep a budget either and get a housing allowance on top of pay.
Being treated like children is why so many are still like a teenager when they get out and have an even harder time adjusting to civilian life.
No different than someone in prison for years. Big children because they have been treated like such.
K related the military is also more anti weapon than civilian life. Knives are banned in many barracks, and personal firearms are kept by the armorer on many bases. A civilian is better armed than most military until they are outside the wire.
Not trusted with weapons. And you know what, they live up to those expectations and stab eachother in barracks and cant be trusted with a firearm until the moment an enemy poses such a threat that it warrants arming them for the hours they are expected to face them. Before promptly being disarmed again.
>catch diseases from prostitutes in every port.
They actually went to considerable lengths to stop soldiers from contracting VD. Everything from propaganda posters to short-arm inspections.
>During World War II, condom production ramped up to 3 million a day, because condoms were given to American troops. The 1940s also saw the introduction of condoms made from plastic and polyurethane (both of which were short-lived) and the first multicolored condom, created in Japan.

Women statistically cannot drive as good as men. >inb4 women cause more minor accidents and men cause more major ones
Big Lie cope. Across all demographics women crash their cars more per mile driven then men. The only thing keeping them from killing everyone is the fact they don't drive nearly as much as men do.

Okay I'll go inform the DoT and the NHSTA that their statistics are wrong.
DOT Federal Highway Administration, as of May 31st, 2022, men drive an average of 16,550 miles per year, whereas for women the average is 10,142 miles.
The University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute says there are 104.3 million men in the US with a drivers license, compared to 105.7 million women. More recent stats put those numbers closer to 115 million men and 117 million women.
> The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that men cause on average 6.1 million accidents annually compared to the 4.4 million caused by women annually
So men cause 1 accident for every 312,000 miles driven on average, and at current rates a male driver would be expected to cause an accident once for every 18.85 years of driving.
Women cause 1 accident for every 269,700 miles driven on average, and at current rates a female driver would be expected to cause an accident once for every 26.59 years of driving.
If women in the United States drove as much as men, and the accident rate were maintained, then female drivers would be expected to cause an accident once for every 16.29 years of driving, bringing that 4.4 million annual accidents caused by women to over 7.18 million.
If men and women drove equally, and the NHTSA's 10.5 million at-fault accidents per year were maintained, women would cause roughly 5.8 million of those accidents, whereas men would cause around 4.7 million.

Why do people who call themself ‘progressives’ never use ‘per capita’ or look at things like ‘crashes per mile driven’
You ought to return to Reddit or at least post guns - right now you’re just ‘dubunking’ with data that proves the opposite of what you claim

Women still cause more fatal accidents per mile per capita. Again, there are fewer women drivers and those women drive less than men. The "men cause big accidents women cause fender benders" meme is Big Lie cope.
German submarines have a track record of not actually working due to poor maintenance and no funding because the Germans treat their military as nothing but an advertisement brochure for foreign sales. US submarines have to actually deploy abroad.
The Germans have been unable to keep their tiny fleet of six budget submarines in a ready condition to the point of failing to meet their NATO commitments. There's signs that's getting better now Russia is actually acting aggressively and more money is being invested but honestly the German government is mostly just ignoring the war and hoping it'll go back to the status quo of cheap Russian gas.
Despite having literally only six subs there was a point in 2017 when all six were out of service due to maintenance backlogs. The Bundeswehr is a joke.
In which service? It's expected in the Army, Navy and USMC so I did not reward them with my presence.
There are many ways to serve and since Uncle gets what he pays for you should get your contractual dues which I did and am. Career choices should never sacrifice long term security.
>basically if you aren't an officer you are treated like scum.
Mustang here, believe me, everyone gets treated like shit.
t. E-1 thru E-7, then O-1E thru O-5
just look at ukraine, you need as many people as you can get on the frontline, no matter who or what or how. in war you dont have the luxury to select the rambos and leave the sissies at home. everybody must serve.
Israel too. Serving in the military and defending your country is not a right wing white male job, it's a job for all citizens. Right wingers trying to force their way into the military and frick with it so it's their little guaranteed employment safe space is bad for the nation as a whole and it needs to be mercilessly punished whenever it pops up.
It's like the German SOF units a few years ago who went full neonazi and started planning a coup/assassination against the German government. That shit is completely fricking insane, the exact opposite of what you want in a military, and the Germans rightfully disbanded the unit and fricked up everyone responsible. There is nothing wrong with a military being mostly men but when it becomes a right wing circlejerk it needs to be stopped before it can escalate to extremism and coup attempts.
Trying to rescue Germany from the Left is quite patriotic and brave. Right wing governments are only a problem when they choose wars unwisely.
Have you ever consider you don't need to go to the other extreme? Just saying, diversity quotas and defunding are horrible but so being cucked into yes-men to a self-deluded moron with a messiah complex.
what the frick is wrong with them?
do they drink uboats what that while singing wir lagen vor madagaskar or something?
there has to be a reason why you'd take something so shitty onboard
also >not doing uboats with 80 Stroh rum while blasting wir fahren gegen Engelland
if the preppers are in charge of supply then it'd only be spam cans of 7.62x54r because hoarding food is for lootbox gucci gays
maybe some tubs filled with beans
Interesting part here is that those are all your standard commercially available products and not specifically produced and packaged for the Navy.
It's way cheaper than how it was mostly done previously or how it is done in the USA.
Even German submariners serving on a small diesel-electric sub are eating better than US sailors.
>Even German submariners serving on a small diesel-electric sub are eating better than US sailors.
Sorry, but no. Nukulear allows a full galley, because air and electricity are free. Also expanded refrigeration, meaning a larger amount of (otherwise) perishable goods.
And before you accuse me of being a burger bigging up the USN, I'm not. I'm not even from a country which operates subs.
Despite nuclear submarines in the US Navy having the reputation of serving the good shit, the food can't be called better than German or other European standards. Too much canned stuff
>Food for the crew is the bulkiest commodity in a submarine and becomes the limiting factor for patrol duration. Fresh food lasts about two weeks, then it is canned, dried, and frozen food for the rest of the patrol. When a submarine leaves on patrol, food fills every available corner.
US nuclear attack subs have supplies stored for 90 days which basically means the storage is more limited on a US sub than on the U 212A which are designed for 30 days operations.
Despite nuclear submarines in the US Navy having the reputation of serving the good shit, the food can't be called better than German or other European standards. Too much canned stuff
>the food can't be called better than German or other European standards. Too much canned stuff
>literal tons of frozen meat, pizza and baked goods made from scratch, only ship class with a deep fryer apparently
I dunno, seems pretty good to me.
>Even German submariners serving on a small diesel-electric sub are eating better than US sailors.
No, eating on a US sub is like going to a good dinner every meal. Squids get fat as frick on the subs. Squids eat better while underway than when home eating home cooked meals. Generally speaking, the US Navy eats really good food. That is why everyone makes fun of the fatsos. They probably have an emotional breakdown if they miss Ice-cream and/ or other dessert.
They could replace those with industrial airfryers, and use operational safety/logistical benefits as reasons. Large amounts of hot oil are hazardous in enclosed spaces, and having to store all the required volume of frying oil is inefficient.
The crew still get their fried food, but it's both healthier and simpler to produce.
US submarines have impressive facilities but the amount of basically junk food you get served would make me want to kill everyone on the sub within two weeks.
Why yes 99.99 % of people aren't submariners.
Being part of the 0.01% doesn't make you better. It makes you a moron that got suckered into being trapped into a death tube with less living space than a can of sardines.
>Why can German submariners have Monster, beer, Bacardi and other shit and Americans can't?
germans wont be doing anything of value ever is why.
they haven't done conflict worth talking about since ww2
US Navy is not allowed to have alcohol on ships/ subs, other than medical. Some old timers said downed pilots recovered sometimes used to get a shot of whiskey for "medical reasons". It has been a regulation for about 100 years. If a ship is at sea for 90 days (or whatever) without a port call, then the crew can have 2 beers if the Secretary of the Navy allows it. If I remember correctly, even 18 year olds can get the beers, if outside the USA. US military service members can buy booze on a port call and bring it back to the USA, but it must be locked away on ship.
A crew does not need booze to do the job. The USA is not like euros feeding kids booze at the age of 12. The USA also never enslaved (pressed into service) nor practiced floggings, like the Limeys.
In other words, different countries and different rules.
Reminds me of when I learned a large portion of the best sailors of the British Empire were Irish, and a lot of Irish joined up to escape thier homeland that had been enslaved and starved by the English.
While in Ireland most land was English owned and most food for export, and Irish had to rent from English landlords, and got sent to prison or a penal colony or likely pressed into the Navy for stealing some food because food in their homeland was mostly foriegn owned and for export and they were permanently poor by design.
Then it was even worse when I learned Irish were once much larger people than the English, as recorded by the English, until hundreds of years of starvation after conquest had altered them geneticly into smaller people.
Lolno. The image title is "kaiji (long-distance express train) curry", so it's not a military meal.
In fact, I'm pretty sure nip submariners eat pretty meh meals, since nip subs are cramped as frick. They have very high complements for their size, so it's quite likely they eat rations (or mostly canned food), and only the rice is freshly-made from bulk bags. I don't see how they could feed all that crew otherwise, there's simply not enough space in the galley for a entire shift's worth of food.
Always a question of endurance. German subs carry food for up to 30 days (which would also impact stuff seen in the OP) while US nuclear subs carry food for up to 90 days.
Wouldn't be surprised if Japanese subs even carry less supplies than the German subs
>Wouldn't be surprised if Japanese subs even carry less supplies than the German subs
I don't think that's operationally feasible. There's a limit to how much you can shorten a patrol, given that there are fixed time expeditures related to travel (getting to the patrol area, leaving the patrol area). Cutting time on station doesn't reduce those times. And the crew still needs to eat during those underway segments as well.
Also if someone mentions that time a RN sailor drank 21 pints and fired at his commanding officer with an L85 in full auto that wasn't from the beer ration but from going ashore to a pub. They are smart enough to stop sailors from hoarding undrunk beer.
I had the opportunity to eat on German frigates a few times for job reasons and the food was always good, varied and balanced.
Also fresh German bread and bread rolls are always great.
This is way more alcohol you can normally see and get on German subs - especially the hard stuff.
Wouldn't be surprised if the captain did allow it because they were sailing for Steadfast Defender to Norway and the prices for alcohol in Norway is fricking insane.
No they are, and they are a fun time when drunk too, but lets be honest the only thing currently keeping americans from being more drunk is having to drive everywhere, and even then most choose to drive just -a little- under the influence if they have been out
The armed forces are industrial drinking clubs. What changed is not driving drunk nearly as often.
Before then many a drunk was waved on at the gate so long as their breath didn't melt the guard shack. Friday keg parties were standard at many shops and units.
We have Black folk who create real alcohol problems on one end and Krazy Khristians who imagine alcohol problems on the other. Ergo, white rational people on our subs can't have beer.
also cigarettes in the background.
I would be so fricking annoyed at the smell of stale cigarettes.
Well, smoking within the submarine is forbidden.
Said the woman
you smoke only when surfaced moron
even back in WWI they knew better than to smoke while underwater

All it takes is one drunk anon
Who said anything about giving them booze?
Oh thought I had op my bad
Morale. It's spelled morale.
Moral is the message you take away from a fricking fable.
Eh, I'm a little moronic.
I hear the food up at Prudhoe Bay, Alaska is pretty dope.
Delicious cope.
cope answer
real answer
Didn't expect so much cope.
>unironic world police
Military hegemon. Only Americans use the term 'world police', because that's the line you keep getting fed. US has zero regard for international law, and 'polices' nothing that is not in it's own interest to 'police'. Not saying that's right or wrong, that's just how it is.
US is not on the side of law, democracy, or justice. US is on the side of the US.
Bro just say you're brown
He is right tough.
They frequently refuse to sign international treaties into law even if their own diplomatic service got the ball rolling on writing those treaties.
But passing a law thar they'd used armed forces on an allied nation if for some reason someone of theirs got charged by the ICC for war crimes and was then stupid enough to leave the US isn't an issue.
To those with power the law is a tool not a restriction.
Doesn't matter if it's the US, the British empire or the chinks.
Generally the captain of a German ship has the last word if alcohol or even tobacco are allowed.
When the Americans were checking Italian FREMM ships they were impressed by the amount of espresso machines.
love me some bounty
Because Germans can (mostly) drink responsibly while Americans cant.
This is true. Anglos have a heard time containing their alcohol consumption. I witniss this regularly with the UK soldiers in my city and hear it from my friend in NZ.
"Anglos" meaning Britain still have a naval alchohol ration moron.
This. I quite enjoyed West Germany but my fellow G.I.s were often stupid drunks.
>german bier
ew
Josephus Daniels.
surprised by the lack of quality beer
Quality beer is a Southern Germany thing. The farther north you go the more beer culture deteriorates.
That is a LOT of Monster Energy
Are they trying to get discharged by getting heart arrhythmia
>Are they trying to get discharged by getting heart arrhythmia
Imagine not drinking enough coffee that it stops raising your bpm, could not be me
Left the German navy business some years ago. But that wasn't common when I visited. Beer, yes, but no harder stuff was way more common.
Because Congress and the DoD are owned by Big Rip It.
>all of those worthless blue monster
what a fricking waste of space, those could have been divine white monster
>blue monster
I've good good news and bad news. The bad news is that you're colourblind. The good news is that purple monster is pretty good.
Germans love their stimulants and booze.
Holy fricking reddit
Yeah, this isn't your safe space either. Get used to it.
Shut the frick up, Black person. Post guns.
>all these German beer to choose from
>Pick up 2 cases of Slots Pilsner, one of the absolute worst, most vile Danish beers
Before promptly being disarmed again.
>no drinking
Onboard ship. They sell liquor at the PX.
>catch diseases from prostitutes in every port.
They actually went to considerable lengths to stop soldiers from contracting VD. Everything from propaganda posters to short-arm inspections.
>abstinence instead of just giving them condoms
Those protestants and their stupid ideas
Funny, the Germans, French and British already did this in the Great War already - but not the Americans.
>During World War II, condom production ramped up to 3 million a day, because condoms were given to American troops. The 1940s also saw the introduction of condoms made from plastic and polyurethane (both of which were short-lived) and the first multicolored condom, created in Japan.
And now that a lot of the economy is automated you can move those women into more labor intensive front line/support roles that previously men would be doing. Nothing's preventing a woman from driving a supply truck.
Wasn't there a thread recently about Japan inventing nothing of value in WW2?
>Nothing's preventing a woman from driving a supply truck.
Except their driving skill.
>haha women cant drive
It isn't 1996, shut up.
I wasn't talking about you anon, I know you will never be a woman.
This is not correct
Okay I'll go inform the DoT and the NHSTA that their statistics are wrong.
tell me
https://crashstats.nhtsa.dot.gov/Api/Public/ViewPublication/810853
Good job anon. I wasn't going to bother debunking him but you went ahead and did it for me, thanks!
More men drive than women and men drive more than women. Totals mean nothing, you have to use per capita per mile data. I know your kind doesn't understand what per capita means but the rest of us aren't sub 80 IQ.
NTA, his post proves my point though. These people are more interested in feeling superior because they have dicks and putting down women at any opportunity than actually wanting their country to have a functioning military.
YWNBAW
>PEOPLE THAT DON'T LOOK OR ACT EXACTLY LIKE ME EXIST
>THIS MAKES ME AFRAID AND ANXIOUS
Holy frick you're weak, how do they even make people as b***h made as you
Afraid? Oh no I'm not afraid of them. They should be afraid of me.
Yeah, I'll never be a woman because I'm not trans, I'm a dude. I was born a dude and I identify as a dude. This catchphrase has no meaning to anyone outside /misc/.
You both failed maths and statistics at school, which makes since because you're both racists and you both post on /misc/.
>statistics don't fit narrative
>THEY'RE BAD STATISTICS ANYWAY! YOU FAILED MATH
Every single time. Statistics don't support Big Lie? Throw them out. Must be bad.
You got a source that was discussing FATAL ACCIDENTS and compared it to one discussing ALL ACCIDENTS. You failed statistics or were passed by a teacher taking pity on you.
Women still cause more fatal accidents per mile per capita. Again, there are fewer women drivers and those women drive less than men. The "men cause big accidents women cause fender benders" meme is Big Lie cope.
I have bad news about the average driving skill of a PFC.
The Brits wised up to that shit early on, at least domestically. Also, Eisenhower was 200% banging his driver.
>That flag
I guess she kept Eisenhower at full-mast.
Who said anything about abstinence? All that poster said was you should protect your dick.
Show me one military on Earth that doesn't lock up small arms when in garrison.
German submarines have a track record of not actually working due to poor maintenance and no funding because the Germans treat their military as nothing but an advertisement brochure for foreign sales. US submarines have to actually deploy abroad.
I can smell your butthurt
The Germans have been unable to keep their tiny fleet of six budget submarines in a ready condition to the point of failing to meet their NATO commitments. There's signs that's getting better now Russia is actually acting aggressively and more money is being invested but honestly the German government is mostly just ignoring the war and hoping it'll go back to the status quo of cheap Russian gas.
Despite having literally only six subs there was a point in 2017 when all six were out of service due to maintenance backlogs. The Bundeswehr is a joke.
wow, you stink
Guess your precious Lusitania sank by itself.
>event from over 100 years ago is relevant to the modern German military
moron.
The USA kinda got a large portion of classism from the UK - basically if you aren't an officer you are treated like scum.
I hate that without /misc/ spammers I’d have no idea what a dilator even is
Yeah. I would have assumed it had something to do with optometry.
No Mexicans in the German Navy
This has to be 2 false flagging /misc/tards agreeing with each other to make /k/ look bad.
It was believable until they brought up "muh trans soldiers"
Based
>make a thread about German submariners
>somehow it turns out like this
oh well
How about you post your fricking guns then, redditor.
No. What are you going to do about it?
Call you a Black person.
>verification not required
Freedom is a right wing trait.
No it's not.
Yes it is, and so are guns
just look at ukraine, you need as many people as you can get on the frontline, no matter who or what or how. in war you dont have the luxury to select the rambos and leave the sissies at home. everybody must serve.
There is nothing wrong with a military being mostly men but when it becomes a right wing circlejerk it needs to be stopped before it can escalate to extremism and coup attempts.
>right wing circle jerk
Right ... because a left-tarded circle jerk is so much better.
Enjoy getting droned by shitskins in your own military.
Have you ever consider you don't need to go to the other extreme? Just saying, diversity quotas and defunding are horrible but so being cucked into yes-men to a self-deluded moron with a messiah complex.
Trying to rescue Germany from the Left is quite patriotic and brave. Right wing governments are only a problem when they choose wars unwisely.
>black top, white bottle
is that a bottle of that absolutely vile coconut drink
You mean Malibu?
Yeah I think so.
what the frick is wrong with them?
do they drink uboats what that while singing wir lagen vor madagaskar or something?
there has to be a reason why you'd take something so shitty onboard
also
>not doing uboats with 80 Stroh rum while blasting wir fahren gegen Engelland
Allowing liquor on board while also preventing anyone from wanting to drink it is the best of both worlds.
that's just cruel
drinking alcohol is allowed in the german navy. being drunken is not.
It's not bad, it's perfect for pina colada in countries where coconut cream is hard to get.
And drinking pina coladas in a submarine is the epitome of based
Smelly third worlder cope and jealous mutts incoming.
Imagine sinking Russian subs while cracking down a Monster White and enjoy the life with a Duplo while the Captain tells you to prepare the drinks!
are those fricking kinder eggs?
forbidden in the USA
Nah it's Kinder Duplo, it's a bit like a KitKat
> German submarine
without shells useless
Americans aren't slovenly drunks like Europeans who can't go a few months without booze.
is the blue Monster good?
All Monster tastes like battery acid. It's just a drug, either you drink it for the effect or don't drink it.
i know that. but taste it better than the original?
I Drink Energy maybe 1x per year before a hooligan-match. Not more
>but taste it better than the original?
Yeah, because it doesn't taste as much like syrup. Original monster is vile.
How would the supplies look like for a /k/ submarine?
if the preppers are in charge of supply then it'd only be spam cans of 7.62x54r because hoarding food is for lootbox gucci gays
maybe some tubs filled with beans
Nothing beats the comfiness of a German submarne
The frick are they doing with all that Havana Club 7? Has the grog ration been reinstated?
>all that netting filled with random food
Guess some things never change, huh?
>Guess some things never change, huh?
That's a surface ship moron, submarines have plates not trays. Try again
oh dear
You WILL eat your grub biscuit and corpse starch and you WILL ENJOY IT. The Emperor preserves.
There is only so much you can do until fresh vegetables and eggs are done
>the food can't be called better than German or other European standards. Too much canned stuff
>literal tons of frozen meat, pizza and baked goods made from scratch, only ship class with a deep fryer apparently
I dunno, seems pretty good to me.
yeah, have some dignity
german food can be a bit hit or miss tough
a good curry wurst is something I'll never turn down tough
>Even German submariners serving on a small diesel-electric sub are eating better than US sailors.
No, eating on a US sub is like going to a good dinner every meal. Squids get fat as frick on the subs. Squids eat better while underway than when home eating home cooked meals. Generally speaking, the US Navy eats really good food. That is why everyone makes fun of the fatsos. They probably have an emotional breakdown if they miss Ice-cream and/ or other dessert.
It's the amount of junk food you get. Navy once tried to ban deep fried food on their ships but well can't do this with Americans.
>It's the amount of junk food you get.
For Americans this is the good shit. But a chief cook on European ships (excluding the Bongs here) wouldn't get away with it
They could replace those with industrial airfryers, and use operational safety/logistical benefits as reasons. Large amounts of hot oil are hazardous in enclosed spaces, and having to store all the required volume of frying oil is inefficient.
The crew still get their fried food, but it's both healthier and simpler to produce.
>tin can full of kraut braps
contemplate the aroma
there's a femoid.
that's not comfy at all.
US submarines have impressive facilities but the amount of basically junk food you get served would make me want to kill everyone on the sub within two weeks.
Would be better off getting a soda fountain for the cola.
99% of you homosexuals dont even have dolphins and it shows lmao
Why yes 99.99 % of people aren't submariners.
Being part of the 0.01% doesn't make you better. It makes you a moron that got suckered into being trapped into a death tube with less living space than a can of sardines.
NUB detected, go back to your notes and get qualified homosexual
kindly have a nice day, tourist homosexual
>Why can German submariners have Monster, beer, Bacardi and other shit and Americans can't?
germans wont be doing anything of value ever is why.
they haven't done conflict worth talking about since ww2
is that why they always surface within US carrier groups undetected?
How is that related to the quality of supplies?
>Extremist right wingers
Are they in the room with you right now?
Because America is schizo secular puritan LGBT society.
Pitiful Americans
Meanwhile the Japanese
In the Australia bid the lower endurance of the Souryuu class compared to their competition was one of the main reasons why the design wasn't picked.
Japanese subs are already on patrol once they leave the port.
Americans have always been Temperate Cusses. While in most navies the beer ration that replaced the rum tot was sacred.
Do they still only let nips with the no BO gene serve on subs?
Because American soldiers are treated like man child and act like that. Meanwhile, Germans (and they are not alone), treats them like adults.
Americans aren't drunkards.
pussies
No they are, and they are a fun time when drunk too, but lets be honest the only thing currently keeping americans from being more drunk is having to drive everywhere, and even then most choose to drive just -a little- under the influence if they have been out
The armed forces are industrial drinking clubs. What changed is not driving drunk nearly as often.
Before then many a drunk was waved on at the gate so long as their breath didn't melt the guard shack. Friday keg parties were standard at many shops and units.
VA isn't paying for your liver failure
We have Black folk who create real alcohol problems on one end and Krazy Khristians who imagine alcohol problems on the other. Ergo, white rational people on our subs can't have beer.
That's about one shift worth of Monster.
Pretty sure they got away with a lot because they were sailing to Norway where the prices insane are.
Americans replaced alcohol with benzos and fentanyl.
>Why can German submariners have Monster, beer, Bacardi and other shit and Americans can't?
Because american submariners are stupid enough to go buuuuuurp after drinking, revealing the subs position.
Imagine the sound a 30 year old American Ohio class boomer makes on Saturday morning after imbibing Monster Energy.
