My contrarian, hipster ass used to hate Magpul on principle back in the 2000s/early 2010s, but they've done a lot of cool stuff making quality gear that is both American and unique. Even their early furniture was cooler than just throwing ugly picatinny rails everywhere.
You cannot look at their pmags and creating M-LOK and just wave that away
i like the idea of keymod. seems like a simple engineering solution. it just doesn't work that well.
i have keymod on my first poorgay rifle and mlok on my others because it works better.
Its kind of a relic. Magpuls are from the time of slippery stanag mags and deep mag pouches. The issue they were trying to remedy doesn't really exist nowadays with kydex and tacos and every mag being textured plastic and a laundry list of other things that make it easier to draw mags.

The ranger plates are still pretty great. I bought them in the .mil and never regretted it.
Yea they fricked up. They need to bring back foilage green for the Euro theater. I have some old foilage green mags.
I fricking love foilage green now.
Same. I bought those up back in 2014 right when they were starting to go out of stock for good. I've got like 7 30 rounders, gen 2s, 4 of them with the windows. They are breasts.
>gaypul
>Very interesting
>Let's see anon's furniture

They saved us from putting little penises all over our rifles.
Now I sorta like keylock tho since it's become rare.
I have an upper equipped with it but swapped it for a carbine length with A2 front because the keyboard and the like doesn't do well with heat.

yeah from their moronic rubber dingus which they convinced everyone they needed but really don't
I still don't understand their utility
