putting your hand in front of the muzzle of a firearm that you know is loaded because you just loaded it is totally something that sane and responsible people do
yeah bro putting my hand in front of the muzzle of something i just loaded and isn't chambered is scary af. just touching bullets scares me because they just go off whenever they feel like it
yeah tube mags suck ass but shooting yourself in the hand isn't much of a concern. pretty much every 22 rifle could benefit from using 10/22 mags, it baffles me that anybody still makes rifles that take single stack garbage mags that stick 3" out of the gun like a sore dick
There's a cutout underneath you can use to drop the bullets in or you pinch it between your thumb and finger and drop it down the top, your hand is near the muzzle but not being flagged by it.
how are you putting your hand in front of the muzzle? Are you too dumb to simply untwist and move it out then put the rounds in the hole far away from the muzzle? Frickass tard.
Lol henry being an overpriced garbage brand catering to uneducated cowboy larping Black folk...
Muh bl22 ( inferior to marlin m39, win 9422 and even cheapass win mod 150)
Muh henry small/big gaybot (336 clone enjoy being capped at 52k psi when taurus 1892 are rocking 63kpsi 454 casull gay)
Muh Henry long ranger ( a cheaper variant of browning blr, now with fubious magasines)
Cope moar henry homosexual the only us made levergat that are decent arr bighorns armory, marlin and Henry are corporate marketing selling crap.
Oh anf picrel is the best tubefed repeater .22 there is.
But the Remington 572 is good too
Not really. Once you change the too short lop stock, upgrade the shit factory sights, put on a better barrel and fix the trigger, they are ok. And they now come with plastic trigger guards!
>Once you change the too short lop stock, I can't argue this. The factory stock really is garbage.
>upgrade the shit factory sights
I've honestly never had an issue with them for a "minute of Coke can" plinker. For any kind of hunting rifle build, I just dump a cheap Centerpoint 4x32 air gun scope in it and it's GTG.
>put on a better barrel
The factory barrely has a loose sporter chamber so it can eat a wider variety of ammo. If you want a super tack driver, you're probably going to upgrade to a barrel with a tighter match chamber anyway.
>and fix the trigger
Yeah, the factory one is total garbage at 6.5 lbs. My post Sandy Hook rifle had a 7.5 lb trigger.
>And they now come with plastic trigger guards!
If you're abusing your rifle to the point where the strength of the trigger guard comes into play, you're rifle is destroyed anyway.
I personally like the Marlin better, but ended up buying a 10/22 because they stopped making the model 60 new. I also wanted to see why they are so popular.

this is one of the most irritating things about the marlin, followed by the disassembly process. other than those two things I like the rifle a lot.

the browning T-bolt mag is neat.
I suspect the reason for proprietary mags is $$

idk why anybody even cares either way since everybody who ccs a pistol is constantly pointing it at themselves while giving zero fricks

Bl22 is browning moron henrys basic 22 lever is cheaper than the shitty 10/22 sporter
Did you have an uncle named henry who used to frick you in the ass or something lmao
I had a 17 hmr Henry and the tube mag would push the bullets into the cases.
I'll stick with my Model 39a
10/22's are trash 2bh
More popular =/= better. So yeah, I have 5.

No, I just like the metal better.
The one you shoot better with
Best answer ITT.

tube mags suck
10/22 is the most overrated piece of shit
The one that works.
10/22 takedown with the magstool stonk, not even a contest
They're both great.
10/22 and anyone who says otherwise is a contrarian homosexual.
As a contrarian homosexual on the precipice of a 10/22 build, I take exception to this.
top
Box mag > tube mag. Replace the stock with a Mag pul backpacker and you're miles ahead of old tubey there.
