HK416 exists because americans demanded it. Euros then decided to adopt what the cool american kids use because obviously they must know what they're doing.
MCX is a more thoughtful and purpose built design. It's a ground up new gun built to have AR style ergonomics. The 416 is an AR with a piston jammed in it.
MCX has very light recoil for a piston gun, adjustable gas for easy suppression, a folding stock, and rapid change barrels.
Really nice looking rifle, but I’m concerned that I might get put on the sex offender registry if I buy a Bren 2 instead of a Scar 16. I just don’t want people thinking I’m some kind of child molester who bought the “scar at home”
The main concern is the barrel assembly being attached by screws with 75 lb of torque and an unnecessary entire tube of blue loctite. Once they actually start selling conversion kits for different caliber and barrel length, then the bren 2 will be a nobrainer
No yeah they are nice guns, it's just a pain in the ass to service something like that. Really nice since you can change out barrels stupid easy, but standard maitenence becomes gay

As regards the barrel assembly fastening system, I have probably 1500 rounds through my x39 and about 1000 through my 5.56 with no issues. That’s not some massive amount of rounds, of course, but it seems to be holding up fine. I have aftermarket rails on both, both with 4 minimally loktited screws (nothing like the entire fricking tube they use stock).
I stripped a screw before I realized I needed a heatgun lmao.
I have heard of issues with screws loosening on the x39s if you have lower than 80lb of torque. I know my 5.56 14 incher had issues with below 50 lbs
I think I did 55ft/in of torque on the HBI handguard for my 5.56. Figured I’d maybe make white marks on the screw to double check but haven’t needed them yet, they’ve held fast. I yam hammered rn tho

A good'ol milspec AR.
The MCX without the cuck brace
They are both derived from "milspec AR", what difference does a TDP make to anyone other than the lowest bidder?
T. Literal moron. The absolute state of nu k
mcx
the cheapest palmetto state ar15
No contest 416 better. Scar better still.
>scar
>better than even a bca ar10
The memes got another one
>how to let everyone know you're a nogunz gaymer in one easy step
Nothing made by Sig is good
Obviously the HK
would you trust your life to a rifle with materials from India and shipped to the US for assembly or a rifle built start to finish by Germans?
yeah
Knight's or LMT. Idk why europoors insist on piston ARs. But of the two, the MCX because it can fold.
>Dogshit or Dogshit
They don't, most europoors refuse to use the 416, including germans. Europoors like ar-18 derivatives.
>most europoors refuse to use the 416
Croatia, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain

The same Germans who just adopted it as their standard service rifle?
Because they won't have to buy as many gas tubes was the reason they gave.
SCAR>416>mcx
Mcx because the 416 is worse not the mcx is better
516

>t. Sig Sauer marketing department
The Sig MCX is my favorite rifle. I resisted them for the longest time and thought they were corrupt, but now i'm a bone nosed jive talking Sigger.
most of the sig hate on /k/ is pure meme inertia.
Its because SIG has put out a number of simply terrible and completely unsafe firearms onto the civilian market. Thats where the hate comes from.
Yeah, the MCX is a properly modern design. Not some frankengun made because of misconceptions of Stoner system reliability.
The PWS
neither

Lmao fair, if you can afford the SCAR go for it. I got mine for x39 first and liked it enough to get the 5.56 model

seems like they’re getting a lot of use in Ukraine, and doing okay
You could take literally any service rifle (that isn’t made by Britain) and drop it in Ukraine and it would be “doing okay”

thats the 308 model not the intermediate
even better
MCX 100%
I hope this helps
List of people that think Sig makes the best AR-18:
now cross out all the poozed country ones.
the based and redpilled anti-globohomosexual non-pozzed saviors of the white race countries all use AKs
ok but how many bought them because germany is right next door and gave them a sweet deal?
MCX but only because it can be mocked up to look like an LR300.
has anyone actually done that?
honestly flip a coin
Can't say which is better. But I'd take the MCX over the HK.
