Most gun channels have used sponsors to get income on their vids after they got demonetized years ago. That's why you see shilling for companies like SDI, PA, and Brownells.
By ATF rules and regulations putting a candy cane into the butthole of a glock grip turns it into an SBR and by all legal precedent you could be charged for doing so. Don't for a second think google or any other entity wont go out of their way to frick you on these unconstitutional laws or go out of their way to make up arbetary rules to rid platforms of firearm related content.
Depends on how California (where YT is headquartered) defines what a high-capacity magazine is.

Nowhere on earth is 30 rounds high capacity. It's standard capacity for every AR15.
10 rounds is low capacity.

Here it’s defined as 10+ rounds. YouTube might have selected 30 rounds because 99.99% of gun’s standard capacity mag is <30 rounds, so 30+ could legitimately be called high capacity. That or maybe they’re avoiding the massive backlash that would come after they nuke every channel overnight for featuring 10+rd magazines.
>High capacity magazines or belts carrying more than 30 rounds.
It's ironic that you suggest other people's reading comprehension is poor when you ignore the lack of comma between the "magazines or belts," indicating that either carrying more than thirty is what they are referring to as "high capacity."
Not that it matters because YouTube is still moronic and unlikely to consistently apply their own rules anyway, never mind the existence of several weapons with "standard" capacities of more than thirty rounds.

Does this apply to videogame reload animations too? I mean theoretically any modern milsim FPS would be far more detailed in it's instruction on how to reload a belt fed MG than some boomer reloading an M1919 with his back turned.
Youtube is dying it‘s kind of slowly, but it’s happening steadily. Almost everything there is going private or disappears otherwise. There is much less high quality content. Clicks are also going down. Everything is heavily curated. Give it another five years and it will be dead in the water just like tumblr or facebook very soon.
>Live stream that show someone holding, handling or transporting a firearm
So any presidential stream is banned since secret service is holding and transporting a firearm.
Google isn't stupid enough to actually enforce this except in rare cases where people are converting "standard" magazines to "high capacity". Doing so would further nuke their content base, which is already choking due to non-partnered channels getting hit with unwarranted copyright takedowns by ransomware indians.
That said, this is why I use mastodon and encourage others to do so. I also migrated my gmail to other services - I'm more afraid of google disabling my email because I bought a "high capacity magazine" vs. disabling youtube.
Most people don't understand that Google is slowly gilding into obsolescence and likely won't be the omnipresent boogeyman in peoples' lives in 20 years.
I wouldn't go that far, because what Youtube is doing is what Disney did with Blip: all non-partnered channels were banned. When all the remaining partners left or died off from the greatly decreased traffic, Blip was killed. Just as Disney did with Maker Studios in general, which is now Disney Digital Services. What was once one of the biggest media brands which defined the early 10s was reduced to essentially nothing and died a lonely, completely uncommented death five years ago. All the ex-Makers are now making money elsewhere, usually at major magazines or websites that Disney refused to do business with.
Eventually such a fate will befall Youtube. Google will gradually clean it up, as the Internet/web people are slowly replaced with standard TV executives who think in terms of TV ratings. Notice how Assault Guns have been defacto banned on fictional broadcast TV programming for a while now, and it is also banned from mass market print publications. Guns are the first to go but eventually they'll go for the MIGAtards (deserved IMO), the potheads, and other "alt" weirdos that look bad. After those groups are gone they'll start cutting out the sex by forcing PG-13 on all videos, and ban drag unless it is explicitly LGBT tagged. This starts another wave of bans until all content is PG. By this point Youtube is either preinstalled on all TVs or dead, either option works as far as Google is concerned.
Again bringing up Mastodon, remember that all the gun youtubers have alternatives now and know not to trust YT. It won't just die like the Maker movement mostly did - kept alive solely through a single hobbyist magazine and adam savage.
>By this point Youtube is either preinstalled on all TVs or dead

Kind of agree. We need to move away from these gigantic centralized spaces ran by these faceless mareketing departments and ideolgues (who are completely impartial by their own say so).
The internet was way better when there was a million different forums with their respective communities talking about shit. Then Google, Youtube and this other shit forced their way in as marketleaders with borderline illegal means and here we are.
>Google, Youtube and this other shit
No, Facebook was the big one that vampirized and holocausted more communities than you can even imagine and Reddit mopped up the slightly more tech savvy crowd. The niche shit that did survive the initial onslaught was then besieged by homosexuals like Fandom (formerly Wikia), that whatshisname butthole company that bought out like 700 different specialty forums (ever wonder why most car community forums that survive have that exact same look and feel now?) and most recently Discord.

Youtubers should just sue them for breach of contract and any lost revenue. Threaten them with having to legally defend the assertion that inserting the magazine that came with a gun into it is "a modification".
Youtube has been trash for 5 years. After Trump won they went woke, and started focusing on creators who were palatable to large advertising customers. So Mr Beast and people making underground pools in the Jungle don't get messed. Demonetizing is a win-win for YouTube since they keep all the rev and be politically Goldilocks on the surface.
Odysee has better 2A content if you are looking for allowed behavior.
>Murder mystery uses stock footage of a revolver being loaded >Any movie clip of the hero gearing up before the climactic shootout >JerryRig gets a strike because he did a bump stock video half a decade ago
I don't see this going wrong at all. Either they use AI learning to police and it will go overboard and ruin safe content. Or they will need to hire more moderators to investigate reports which only costs time and money for almost zero gain.
They will continue to use both over zealous ai and third worlders making pennies and hour for manual review. Because AI can't interpret context and the third worlders don't understand it.
I've been on youtube since the early days when it had myspace like channels and later got those moronic video responses.
YouTube's quality has actually improved in every way until about 2017.
I guess the realised how much influence YouTubers had in the US election.
Since then it has gotten down the drain.
First they deleted gun manufacturing channels and right wing music.
At that point more and more people started to shill for a sponsor, probably because YT got a shitty monetization program at that point.
Even the recomendations are getting worse because back then I've actually gotten new and i teresting content in my feed.
YT feels dead to me and I'd gladly change platform as long as it's stable, censorship free and got a good algorithm.

Youtubers should just sue them for breach of contract and any lost revenue. Threaten them with having to legally defend the assertion that inserting the magazine that came with a gun into it is "a modification".
Not caring. Never did. They have nothing intelligent to offer.
i hope they all get banned except paul harrel
Youtube has been trash for 5 years. After Trump won they went woke, and started focusing on creators who were palatable to large advertising customers. So Mr Beast and people making underground pools in the Jungle don't get messed. Demonetizing is a win-win for YouTube since they keep all the rev and be politically Goldilocks on the surface.
Odysee has better 2A content if you are looking for allowed behavior.
Does this extend to video game footage?
is taking off the supressor on the M4 in counter strike a banna le offense?
Is showing CoD or Tarkov loadouts?
>Murder mystery uses stock footage of a revolver being loaded
>Any movie clip of the hero gearing up before the climactic shootout
>JerryRig gets a strike because he did a bump stock video half a decade ago
I don't see this going wrong at all. Either they use AI learning to police and it will go overboard and ruin safe content. Or they will need to hire more moderators to investigate reports which only costs time and money for almost zero gain.
They will continue to use both over zealous ai and third worlders making pennies and hour for manual review. Because AI can't interpret context and the third worlders don't understand it.
YouTube gun community is cringe.
it's marketing for new guns and tourist level reactionary types
Agreed, Leviathan Group has sent the gun community back.
this guy is a paid shill, someone must have that copypasta of the shill wall showing him, Sootch, DemoRanch and all the other homosexuals
The Famas's 25 round mag has been exonerated, vindicated and absolved
gun channels were always bad
im safe, i only load 30 round clips in my AR
They're killing the desktop platform and are trying to make it a phone app because adblocking is harder that way.
>Improved
>Deleted anything right wing outside of a select few popular morons who they killed off one by one over time anyway
It's been going to shit since before 2012 anon
S
>Where were you when gun channels on YouTube died, /k/?
Same place I've been during every major event in the last 20 years.
Jerking off to anime in my office.
>thread full of "ahkshually!"
proof this board is controlled by shills
>saged
I don't remember things from that long ago
I say people should use b***hute more often and possibly Rumble.
On the contrary, weapons youtube channels have never been wilder. idk how they even allow something like this.
I am so frustrated he missed the tank with the RPG-30. Like come on! Getting a bruised cheek with the AT-4 was funny though.
what's the channel's name or link? i tried searching up by vid name but nothing popped up
https://www.youtube.com/@perepolox
Guy is cool, always fricks something up, like he'll miss with guided missile, in one of recent videos almost blew his eye out.
