I have some empty tubs from meal replacement powder that fit a few litres of fluid. I just dump shit in there and leave it in the sunlight under the window to evaporate, until I have space to add more. When the city has a community recycling day in the area, just take it out and leave it with them.
sand bucket, it is very useful but has its limitations keep it well ventilated and also prepare it with some solid base like baking soda in a 100:3 ratio so if u throw in an acidic solution it can slowly deal with it without making a fuss.
for anything that my have extreme acids/bases or hyper toxic/ volatile waste never ever throw them in the sand bucket they are best thrown into isolated air tight opaque containers stored at cold temps or dealt with by chemical waste management company since they have the tools to deal with that.
They sit in old containers in the garage until I have enough junk and trash to justify the hour round trip to the dump. Recyclables and hazards within reason (automotive chemicals, not explosives) are free to drop off. Construction waste is $64/ton.
My county is too big, and there are too many Mexicans dumping for the scales to ever be out of service. Both scales have been replaced in the last three years.
Pour it on the patio when it rains. Makes funny colors and the rain washes it away.
Otherwise dump it through a hole in the bottom of the car while driving
neutralize all strong acids, bases, and strong redox agents
dry salt solutions to solid waste if possible
chlorinated solvents get their own waste
heavy metals get their own waste
clearly label everything, there should be a hazardous waste pickup near you

river
this...specifically upstream as far as possible
you mean downstream?
people who live downstream from you are kinda cucks anyway
This is what I've been doing for decades. Thankfully a train accident near me is taking cover for it. That river has looked like that for years now
Ditch on a dirt road
munucipal truck that comes around exactly because of this stuff every now and then
i'm not a jogger after all
When is this reddit meme gonna die
They just pour it into the storm drain anyways so you might as well cut out the middleman.
drop it off at vatozone like a civilized person.
Ohio
Same, into the Ohio river watershed.
I mean, it works for the U.S. government, why shouldn't I?.
This. If it really wasn’t safe, Mayor Pete would tell us. After all, he rides a bicycle to work because he cares so much about the environment.

10 minute drive to the dump where they deal with almost anything. That's what it's there for. Or Mr. Lube down the road for car fluids if I'm lazy
>Where do you guys dump your used hazardous chemicals
bottom of a big bag of trash

>Construction waste is $64/ton.
Kek, scale has been dead for 2 years at my dump. Dropped of an entire house for $13.
*cuckshed
My county is too big, and there are too many Mexicans dumping for the scales to ever be out of service. Both scales have been replaced in the last three years.
outside
where the frick else
over the fence into the neighbor's vegetable garden
The yard is covered with picrel
There is a crack between two slabs.
I am dumping there coolant and brake fluid for about a decade.
Its rented and that area is used by someone else. So its not my problem.
>Does a dumbass thing
>Also rents... for 10 years
Yeah, that adds up.
literally why wouldn't you pour poison under the driveway so that weeds dont break everything up?
I rent a workshop in a commercial area.
There are none that are compareable up for sale. Only larger pieces of land that literally cost millions.
I paid about 12k in the last 10 years. Dirt cheap and no way I could have bought something compareable.

indian burial grounds, protected marshlands, Black person habitats, etc.
the dump here has a hazard waste day once a month where you can drop off all the shit you dont need and they do whatever the frick with it
Drive to the ghetto and just dump it on the ground.
Over here they take them for free for this reason. Only asbestos costs peanuts to recycle

dry salt solutions to solid waste if possible

Yeah, it's called the atmosphere. Light that shit up
I just call up the city's recycling center and they'll send a truck to pick it up from the curb. Costs maybe $10-30 depending on what it is.
Where are you guys getting all this "hazardous material?" I've never had to dump "hazardous material" because I have never had any.
I've had left over chemicals, but I just keep them until the next project and use them...
Name one thing that couldn't be used that you had to get rid of...
Walmart storm drain or in a black neighborhood community garden.
dump?
Bottom of the trash bin
