When did military dogs become reddit? Nowdays they just use malinois and german shephards, the latter are definitely moronic and any civilian who owns them is a moron, why is there less diversity of dogs in combat? I doubt moderns know more than the ancients in this regard.
>t. pibble mommy
that's not a pibble
>why is there less diversity of dogs in combat
Because they figured out the best breeds. Instead of being a butthurt homosexual about it, try obtaining some guns and returning here afterwards without the impotent frustration you feel every day that makes you make these threads.
Whats wrong with german shepherds?
Tourist obsession.
Nothing if you get a working line one
inbred and the only people who own them are sois who want to intimidate people and fat 35 year old boomers who want to intimidate people, neither of them train their dogs and let them bark all day.
t. Tiny person controlled by his past and psychological issues
i own a white german shepherd and nothing of this is true lol, we're going to training sessions 2x a week and he's more polite than most of other dogs we encounter every day lol
>That black bar
OPSEC first, good job anon
go back
You just want mascots animals and not something useful?
I agree anon. It makes no sense to only use dogs in combat when combat bears have been tested and proven to be effective.
poor mr. bear
sad
German Shepards are breed to be house dogs.
Belgian Malinous were not so don't make good pets.
Boomer dad got one when it was cool, thing is high strung.
Inb4 I'll be a better owner, you won't.
>you won't.
this
if you're considering malinois, don't
they need like a frickton of activity every day. One guy I met in a dog park told me he has to take his belgian for 3 hour trainings every day, otherwise he will tear his house apart.
>letting your dog on the couch
He was asking for it.
Dutch shepherds are that way too
My two need four hours a day but they're worth it, they corner squirrels in trees, sniff out groundhogs and chase feral hogs, the female one will fetch waterfowl for me too

I think the biting is more of an issue with malinois.
And I don't mean that they're like pitbull and just randomly kill people. Malinois dogs have this really weird instinct where they want to bite everything and they suck at holding back. Look up malinois puppies biting on youtube, they have a phase where they all storm towards the owner/breeder and just bite into his legs/feet and don't let go. That shit hurts.
It stops being so extreme after a while, but they still love biting shit, including you. Not with the intention of hitting or going full power, but still pretty hard.
I've got a dog who might have some malinois in her and she loves biting too, but she's a careful softie about it most of the time. Maybe it's just a normal shepherd, she's a mega mutt from Bulgaria.
Still loves putting my hand comically deep into her mouth and just moving the tongue back and forth whole occasionally chomping down though. She can do that for like an hour without getting bored.

have you tried it with your dick?
They're called Turkish Shepherds now you fricking biggott.
I own anatolian shepherds and think they're (along with other LGDs like great pyrenees) the best dog anyone could ever own, but they're not good military dogs.
Beagles are used as drug dogs in niche scenarios and I've seen everything from labs to shepherds to bloodhounds used by military/le search and rescue.
>tfw they mounted him
pure evil, rip war pupper.
