Do people just not like the looks? cylinder burn if you hold it improperly? Or do people not like it because their favorite youtube said they did not like it. (Ive shot my bosses 9mm version along with the .357 and both were accurate and fun) Not saying its the best wheelgun out there , just looking for reasons for the hate
It's mid and cringe

GET TO DA CHIAPPA
I'd give my left nut for a 4.5" model without a rail.
Main feature is basically a novelty for most uses
Better options for a similar price
Nothing really wrong with it, people just like other stuff better
Poverty Meatball
That fricking seam.
Italian metallurgy
The only person I know irl who owns a rhino is FtM trans. 100% serious.
Smith & Wesson raised the bar so high you can only copy them or try a gimmick to remain in their shadow.
Its alright but I do love my model 10
Revolvers just don't have much of a use anymore.
>inb4 someone posts those same two pictures and starts comparing KBs in a steel frame gun to those in an aluminum framed gun.
The issue with the Rhino is it's a $1000 revolver that carries that price tag due its uncommon, cool design rather than its quality. I'm not sure if they've gotten better, but my experience with them comes from a 2013 model, and a lot of the screws like to back out and the trigger is worse than what you would get from a Ruger. On top of that, finding one in real life is rare and not many people are going to throw a grand at a gun that different without getting to hold it first. I've been trying to convince myself to get a 30ds for a few years now, but from my experience with the Rhino vs. S&Ws and Rugers, the cool factor of the Rhino isn't enough to get me to spend $1000 on one vs other options in that price range that also have their own cool factor.
They are the nicest thing Chiappa makes, but that's not saying much. I worked at a range, and we had to send back our Rhinos more often than any other rental gun we had. Usually for small parts breaking, the hand or cylinder stop or some shit. They are decently smooth and pretty, but they are fragile as frick.
>they are fragile as frick
That makes me feel uncomfortable in ways I didn't know we're possible. It's like little wafers of metal instead of substantial parts like
Because it costs $1000+ new for some reason even though they were less than $700 5 years ago
If there's an overpressure round it takes the path of least resistance blows out into the trigger guard instead of through the topstrap.
This is a design flaw unrelated to workmanship. There is less metal there, so the explosion goes that way.
i like mine. smooth shooting and looks cool. I only carry it on ritual nights or if I need blessed bullets in case of witches. Too many witches in Topeka
It's objectively a worse revolver than a S&W with less holster and gunsmith (if you want a trigger job) availability for a higher price tag. Looking cool carries 100% of the sales. The quality level is on par with or worse than ruger. Plus it's a revolver.
50% of the people who hate it also would never buy any sort of revolver.
Big bore revolvers are a meme anyway.
So why not go full moron and get the meme revolver.
To expensive.
get a job, bucko
>get a job, bucko
I'll try to find some glowies to fund me
The rhino is the poor man’s Mateba.
aren't there only two mateba in the world
what? no
No. I own a Unica 6 and god willing I’ll own a Grifone in under a week
same vibes
ok that grifone is sexy af, feel like you could make a drop in conversion kit easy tho
Some cucksicle keeps trying to outbid me.
I WILL NOT BE OUTDONE MOTHERFRICKER
I don't even want it, but I'll make sure whoever does is paying out the ass
Moat of us will never know how it feels to shoot a semi-auto revolver. How is it? I'm most curious about the trigger reset and felt recoil compared to a similar size revolver.
I haven’t been able to shoot it yet unfortunately, but I’ve heard they’re quite soft shooting
Anyone trying to buy a mateba has to be willing to shell out AT LEAST $5000-6000. If you’re willing to play the game and bid higher than that you might just win on accident. A few auctions ago I forced the price up to $9000, but the guys autism was stronger than mine
this isnt far off. probably why I will get one
The snub and the 30ds are the only versions that don’t have the fugly seam. Regardless of safety, it just looks bad and it’s cutting corners for the sake of easier manufacturing.
For a gun whose only redeeming feature is looking cool, they refuse to make a version without rails ruining the silhouette.
Pic related is the only version that looks relatively good because they made it sleek, but it still has muh seam
needs better grip but other than that its sweet
>The amount of butthurt in this thread from know-nothing homosexuals who will never be rich or lucky enough to own a Chiappa.
Let the seethe flow through (You). Feel the seethe, let it control (You).
3/10, lacking in subtlety
It blows up in your hand, need to make thicker cylindrical cylinders instead of weak hexagon
