It really is just sending a bunch of lead to one position, think of it as a one man volley. So suppression, accuracy by volume of fire, stuff like that
I saw a forgotten weapons video where there was a study that the skill of the marksman had less of an effect on whether someone sticking their head up briefly gets hit than the length of time they stuck their head up. Many targets don't give time to aim.
So they experimented with duplex and triplex bullets ( rounds containing multiple bullets ) that would give a higher chance of hitting the target. They settled on burst fire which does the same thing.
So you could use semi-auto with duplex bullets. Or just carry a shotgun. And get the same effect.
you caN drive a manual for a drive-by too though?

Wow it's the one and only example of full auto > semi I've seen out of this war again, what a surprise.
Chewing through ceramic armor
No.
Trench clearing. Also bunker and building clearing but those are pretty similar. It's also good for suppression and breaking through ceramic plates.
Are you saying ceramic plates don't break when you shoot them?
Why not?
fun
Mowing down gi’s as they try an opposed landing of your occupied country.
If it's occupied why would the landing be opposed?
Idk ask the French
Occupied by capitalist ideology comrade.
For fun and turf wars
Still hitting something in a moment of intense panic I'd say.
more boolet
For legitimate use? CQC defense/home defense. Nothing beats a close range bullet hose on an unsuspecting enemy from a fortified position
Best way to not have to carry a bunch of heavy ammo all the way back
fun
Walk-bys, walk-ins
It makes it easier to eat a hamburger. You don't have to shift or mess with the clutch.
