Battle rifle: semi or full auto rifle in major caliber ( 7.62x51mm for example)

DMR: Accurized rifle in an intermediate or major caliber, usually with a magnified optic.

Sniper rifle: Accurized rifle, usually to a greater extent than a DMR, with optic in a major caliber.

This seems reasonable. The definitions obviously are a touch fuzzy and will vary somewhat by army but generally these days it falls roughly around here. For an actual "sniper rifle" in western forces for example 338 and 416 are regularly used giving effectiveness out to 3000yd. At those calibers and with that kind of accuracy and wanting to get every last bit out of the cartridge bolt is basically required, no desire to spend anything on a gas system.

    >battle rifle
A class of rifle that consists of a full sized caliber and detachable magazines usually containing 20 or more rounds

    >DMR
A designated marksman's rifle. Whatever rifle a designated marksman is issues. NOT a class of rifle because they're typically just a longer ranged version of whatever the standard issue rifle is.

    >sniper rifle
Whatever rifle a sniper is using.

    Battle rifle shoots big bullets.
DMRs have 18" barrels and are meant to be carried around.
Sniper rifles have 20"+ barrels, aren't meant to be carried around and hit really far.

battle rifle: can go through some light brush and still kill a russian conscript

DMR: can cover your machinegunners sector of fire while he reloads.

battle rifle: literal front line gun
DMR: gives I think it's a squad level weapon (not entirely sure) to let them address threats farther out
sniper: maybe platoon level? someone correct me on the shit. But the point is, it's much more specialized. DMR is less specialized

Battle Rifles are rifles capable of semi automatic fire that fire a full rifle round like 7.62x51mm.
Battle rifles are typically 4-6 MoA guns that are mass issued and typically shot using irons/without an optic. The big 4 "battle rifles" were historically the FAL, G3 and then to a lesser extent the M14 and AR-10
Battle Rifles also are specific guns that were used by NATO countries during the cold war. M1 Garand, M14, FAL, G3 and AR-10.

A DMR can be in intermediate or full rifle caliber. DMRs are also typically capable of semi automatic fire (there might be examples of bolt action rifles used in this roll, but I think that last happened in WWII/Korea). DMRs have optical sights with some mid level magnification. Something like 4x, though they could have better magnification. They also are typically 1-3 MoA guns.
DMRs are differentiated from Battle Rifles by the fact a DMR will have magnified sights and be more accurate.
DMRs are differentiated from Sniper Rifles in that DMRs can be used in a similar way to a battle rifle or standard service rifle if needed. IE the SVD was semi auto and had iron sights so someone could use it in a similar roll to an AK if needed

Sniper rifles can be semi auto or bolt action. They always have optics (unless you are talking about pre cold war, as there were unmagnified sniper rifles deployed in WWI and WWII). Sniper rifles are built to be shot prone. They usually are in a full rifle caliber or bigger. And snipers are usually used in a team with a sniper

    Battle rifle
    everyone gets one
    DMR
usually part of a normal fire team/platoon, but has a different gun than other members, or has the same gun as the other members, but with a better optic that has magnification
    Sniper rifle
usually part of a 2 man team with a spotter

You already have good answers, but here is a doctrinal answer:
Battle rifle: to engage distant formations
DMR: to engage distant individual combattants
Sniper: to unconventionally kill individuals with one shot

Battle rifle is for battle, DMR for designated marksmanship, sniper rifle for sniping. It's quite simple, really.
