the only thing i can think of is dragging it up on a sledge, but thats gonna frick your stairs up
pay someone to help you, and use a dolly with that thing ratchet strapped to it

Yeah I was thinking dolly plus ratchet straps. Use gloves and maybe chalk. I’ve moved arcade cabinets up stairs and on ramps an they’re probably 200-300lbs assembled. I wouldn’t have anyone help you besides spotting or be up the stairs for a switch out when you get tired. There’s no escape if they’re at the bottom. Could hit up a local moving company for a quote. They must have to deal with shit like this. You could crane it or maybe there’s a winch setup for this

As a house painter, I've seen a lot of abominations, but whoever thought it made any sense to put a handrail with balusters instead of simple wall brackets right smack up against a wall is insanely stupid.

probably true. I apologize to OP for his moronic stairwell and wish him a happy future with his 360 lb sink.

That's the worst abomination you've seen?

          >That's the worst abomination you've seen?

not even close. we had one unbelievable staircase that was about 1 foot from an exterior wall that had windows down in that pocket. I painted some of it from up on the stairs, some by stretching into the pocket, and some from going outside and reaching through the window. I wish I had a photo because words don't do justice.

          >As a finish carpenter who has restored homes with a lot of dumb frick "improvements"

I was on a job once where an old house needed more furnace ducts. They ran one along the floor next to a bedroom wall, and boxed it in with 2x4 framing and sheetrock, baseboard, etc. What nobody seemed to care about was the access door to the faucet in the bathroom on the other side of the wall, which was 100% buried behind all that. When that faucet goes out, instead of a $200 bill, it will be more like $2000.

Entire first floor is 3 layer brick built in 1850 plumed and wired in 1918 shits been a pain, using run less wire switches and junction boxes to light downstairs, just got the shower up and running, had to cut all old galvanized pipe and lead shit out, Tear down ceiling etc, new toilet.... was supposed to be a quick 1 day job but it's om it's 3rd, all that's left is plumb for vanity and take it upstairs, fill these holes for now and seal everything.

Rent a forklift and use an upstairs window.

Or put a sheet of MDF or ply on the stairs, the sink on a heavy dolly with a strap around it. It’s probably the cheapest but you’d still need 2 people and there’s a pretty big chance of damaging it.

You COULD try to build a hoisting frame right above where your standing in but then need straps, hoist, and to remove the fencing on top floor.

Whatever you attempt make sure nobody is underneath it while you lift/drag it up.

If you're renting equipment to move it, it may be cheaper to just call up a moving company and tell them you need to move something from one floor to the next.

    Yeah, you're screwed.

What you could try is flipping it over onto a sheet of melamine board, anything rigid and smooth and try sliding it up. If you could lasso it and attach it to something upstairs with a come along, have your wife try to keep the slack out in case you slip.

Other than that I think your only other option is trying to flip it up the stairs.

Build a little frame and some skis and winch it up the stairs

      Anonymous

This, and you could use real skis if you find a set at a thrift store. Some carpet remnants between skis and stairs protect the stair treads.
A cheap boat winch with a nylon strap is ample for pulling it up the stairs. I'd bolt the winch to some stout steel angle then pad the steel with towels where it contacts any woodwork. Anyone foolish enough not to live in a ranch design house (stairs kill old people and are the reason they stop using the second or higher storeys of their homes) needs a permanent stairwell winching solution they can use for future moves.

Get yourself some 2x4's and 4x4's and make a palate. Then you just get some ratcheting ties and pull that sucker down. You can get some rope and hoist that fricker up the stairs. Watch out for the banister as a leverage tool. Might be easier just yanking it up there. Or else just get a friend to help you get it up. I would still keep a palate on it because those legs can bend from the move.

Even in 2 people dorm a double sink is considered a major win because people tend to get up and go to bed roughly at the same time. If you’re any kind of household, you don’t want to spend time waiting for the other person to finish. Brushing teeth in kitchen is hobo tier

    Remove drawers.
Rent an appliance dolly with straps and rubberized stair guides.
Drape a blanket over the dolly.
Flip the vanity onto its side with the countertop surface against the dolly.
    Strap it down.
Pull it up the stairs, taking your time.

Good chance you'll break the countertops and your wife will make you sleep on the couch for the next month but you won't have to pay movers or ask a friend to spot you or help LIKE A PUSSY homosexual WHO NEEDS HELP amirite?
