Yes there will be, because the ATF will simply enforce everything that hasn't been directly and explicitly shot down (i.e. The ruling has to explicitly say that the machine gun ban is repealed). And even then, Congress would just pass another law within 24 hours

Both the C7NLD rifle and C8NLD carbine use the same monolithic upper receiver from Colt Canada. The handguard is sized for the carbine, so the rifle needs a 5" extension to fill in the gap.
It has about as much in common as the FN ARs do to contract rifles. Which is to say, the operating system is the same but every critical part like barrels and bolts are different with drastically less QA/QC.
Is it the same with DD ? I'm no-AR euro, I can afford a single one, both DD and HK are 3000+ €. I've been told numerous times civilian HK416 QC and parts are shit. What about DD ?
