We're never gonna know for sure, but at least it looks pretty nice with a proper finish. How long do you think it'll be before we see a Russian version of picrel?
Read my first post, I'm just wondering how the Russian coating will hold up. That's a decade or more of damage on that F-22, isn't it? I'd be impressed if the Su-57s look good for that long.
Considering Russia was stupid enough to source parts and materials from NATO counties before securing their own logistics supply and then starting the "SMO", it'll be a tough call. Most of their new weaponry are overhyped garbage which was a huge let down for us ex. T14 Armata engine design is copied off German WW2 Tiger P engines..
Compare to F-22 and see that Su-57 is amateur tier stealth plane . He had no panels edges alignment to same angles. F-22 has. Every other US stealth has. J-20 has.
Russians? Never heard about radar edge scattering.
Considering how fricking big these things are, the fact that you can see the the sky between the gaps of the canopy means that this gap is at least half a centimeter wide on the *production version* - if you had a car shitbox car built to this standard, you'd rightfully freak out.
This sim found that the F-35 is less stealthy than the Su-57 in some bands, which makes the accuracy of the results a bit questionable. Not accounting for radar-absorbing materials and creeping wave return effect is probably the reason why.
Still, one thing it certainly shows is that exposed fan blades have a big impact on RCS.
I'll hand it to them. They at least sealed a lot of the panel cracks. I give them a month of field use (if they even see it) before most of it is gone and not replaced.
It's dropped bombs on some mooks in the desert. Any situation where it may have needed to fire was resolved by making the other aircraft frick off. At least part of the persuasion was because the thing they were threatening couldn't even see what was chasing it. It's like having the Hollywood-style sniper laser on your head. That is due in part to the weapons bay.

Is Russia going to return those tanks it redeemed or those billions it swindled from India previously first?
>upgrades your plane to true 5th gen
That is literally the F-22 solution to stealth.
This photo must have been taken by a microntelescope because the cross section is that small

I can't believe I forgot the pic and didn't notice lmao
posts a test F-22 used to simulate what happens when you don't maintain it's stealth coating for years just to deflect from the fact the Su-57 is shit

Well it’s a su-27 with body kit afterall…
And F-22 is F-15 with body kit. Only they did body kit right.
And an engine kit. And a new electronics package. And a brand new weapon bay.
went from Hillariously Large to Laughably Large.
Unless they totally redid the the design, especially the intakes then probably still similar to the Hornet's
Slapping on anti-reflective coating on a 4th gen doesn't suddenly make it stealth.

the compressors you can see in the intakes are a bigger deal than anything on the wienerpit. that alone completely ruins its frontal RCS
That rear visibility looks kinda shit
Production models are never as good as the prototype.

>01, with factory logo
>510
hahahahahahaha
The flush and finished plane was the prototype, the rusty woodscrew one is the actually delivered plane
considering the smoke trail, roughly that of a c-130
despite all its flaws, i can’t deny that it looks pretty sexy
hmm...
>AIM-9xs barely adding to RCS
Oh dang. What's the source for this?
I wouldn't worry about it.
How can we close the 0ghz gap?
>Implying the Checkmate is anything more than CGI models and copium induced delusions.
Got a working prototype yet?
Anything besides the plywood model.

remind me what happened to india's participation in the last russian """"""stealth""""""""" project, please?
>no one is buying your shitty trashcan f-35
Lmao how many people are putting in orders for ANY Sukhoi aircraft?
My babushka is responsible for at least 3 of those orders
So...how much is the US making on F-35 exports?
The U.S. doesn't need to make anything off them. They get a friendly nation that can repair their shit when needed on long flyover towards beijing
russian loves spackling paste, a lot

Neither does the Su-57. But the F-22 has an internal weapons bay while the F-15 does not.
why do they say the f-22 is a pure air superiority fighter, when its belly is clearly full of downward facing sensors?
It has a higher flight ceiling than most ASF jets so it can look from above
>Downward facing sensors
Those are missiles.
somewhere between a b-52 and f-16
>su-57
>5th gen
lol

lol like armatard except somehow even more delusional yet also more specific

what is this and why is it jagged
Russia's game engine is operating on last gen hardware.
i believe this is for the cannon, to allow it to air cool
yeah and T-14 saw combat in Syria too bro totally bro
>that AOA sensor sticking out like a sore thumb right behind the MWIR/DAS window.
Fully operational aircraft btw.
half the thread is crossed out posts about fricking jets
