I've been using peltor 500 muffs for several years. They're pretty nice for the money, but heavy, bulky, hot, interfere with hats and hoods, etc. I've been in the market for electronic earplugs but most of them seem to have mixed reviews, giving me the impression that the technology just isn't quite there yet. Are any of them worth bothering with or should I just stick with the muffs?
