God works by Irish folktale rules, you just gotta have iron and he can't do anything.
"And the LORD was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron."

We all want to be the chosen one, anon
and to some extent, we are all the protagonist
but only because we act as one, with purpose, against the Master.
Nearly all of us do not have the power, but perhaps one of us does.
Therefore, each of us must try in turn.

No. That's a childish want and one who does not make peace with anything, as it's not attainable and will inevitably lead to disappointment.

Its an artifact of how we model the world. Again, why does any observed phenomenon inply that god exists?

Light is the fastest thing. Something has to be. If you could go faster, then YOU would be the fastest thing. But you can't...because you're not.

Refute the existence of human consciousness and conservation of energy and what that implies. If you will reflect deeply on it, you will realise you can't.

The existence of both does not imply god.

        Anonymous

        wat?
that's very easily explain in the context of conservation of energy
our consciousness is a combination of electrical and chemical impulses
those electrical and chemical impulses contain within them X amount of energy, which will then dissipate back out into the environment upon death thanks to decomposers

if anything, this is an argument for the Hindu/Buddhist wheel of creation, where everything is blended into each other in a series of karmic layers

The existence of both does not imply god.

Consciousness is not just the power or process by which we move and control our bodies, it is the very awareness of ourselves and what we are. This cannot be explained away as mere energy, or electrical impulses. Science currently has no explanation for human consciousness and self awareness, but it does teach us that nothing in the universe can disappear without a trace; energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be transformed. Thus, we come to a conundrum where we have something we know to exist, but cannot reliably explain or otherwise prove. Don't you think this implies something more than meaningless signals in our brain?

Is your logic just "I don't know" therefore god?

Not him, but an absolute qualitative fact such as the powerful subjective experience of Consciousness and Intentionality cannot be bridged by mere quantitative accumulation. That is, atoms in the void must always be seen as a mere part of an explanation rather than the entire thing. Natural Science can certainly find neural correlations between neurons and consciousness, but it would hardly be the full story. A philosophical materialist either goes full eliminativist and denies consciousness altogether or he lives a lie. It also seems that you imply Scientism in your response, a notoriously self-refuting position.
Are our minds open to Truth? Can they be trusted? This is something that an aspiring scientist must take as a basic axiom rather than something to prove. Philosophy is thus prior to Science in matters of the Intellect, and philosophy notes the necessity of a Supreme Being of utter metaphysical Simplicity from which all other things have their being. Deny this and you deny the ontological rationality of the Universe where there simply is no Principle of Sufficient Reason at the bottom of it all. But to let in even a little bruteness is to annihilate any trust we can have in Science, which is, more or less, the study and knowledge of things via its causes.

Atheism is a burned out ideology. Ironically Christianity, even though based on the idea of having an invisible israeli Santa living in your head, has a more solid ideological basis than atheism, since it is promoting a specific vision.

Ideologies that exist to oppose something are fundamentally inferior, since after that thing is defeated, they will enter an arms race of being offended over smaller and smaller leftovers.

Feminism is a prime example, being offended over men trying to teach them ?mandplainjng), or not wanting to smell their period runoff (free bleeding), in an arms race of moronation.

Atheists getting triggered over a church or trying to put Saran in the state capitol are similar

Or NATO which existed to oppose the Soviet Union deliberately causing regime changes and artillery attacks on Donbas to create a Russian threat to justify their existence.

God was an incredibly advanced artificial intelligence based in Earth’s orbit from an ancient forgotten time. It started failing in the late 1800s and died for good when it self destructed during the Tunguska incident as it had fallen out of orbit.

God is an article of faith, and cannot be proven or disproven. The only way to "kill" him is to kill all of his worshipers, which is basically impossible considering how many people worship the Christian God, and even moreso impossible if you consider the Abrahamic God to be the same entity, and any other entity that could be construed as "God." That's roughly 4 billion people, probably more. And even if you did kill all of the devout followers, the ideas are so widespread that the rest of the people probably have some idea of "God," or at least heard about him, so a group of worshipers could just spring up again.
That being said, some people consider places, animals, and other inanimate objects to be "God" or god-like. You could "kill" these gods with anything, really. Giant bear in the woods might be considered a guy to buy some people, and you could just shoot it, therefore killing it and killing "God."
