I would have probably done something this stupid if I hadn't met the right people who showed me how to use another stick to keep it stable
Not living in tribes for the sake of our wagie overlords has been a fricking disaster for the human race
Literally, no one in my social circle looks at anime. And we're all white. We like Hunting, Fishing, Caving, even stuff like Formula 1. But what I do know, is that beans are obsessed with anime. Biggest consumer of anime is Mexico. So stop projecting, and just accept what you are, and keep consuming degenerate borderline homosexual chink propaganda.
>anime is not popular with gay
I have always assumed anyone who looks at anime was a flaming homo...is this not true? what about the gays that bring their little dolls on hikes- thay have to be completely gay

people watch anime for the breasts
gays rather overcompensate doing manly man things, because watching something cutesy might mistake them for a gay (at least in their mind)
He might plan to actually use it outside?
Wood stocks look nice, and that's it, they expand and contract much more with moisture and temp.
Probably doesn't mean much for accuracy on a flintlock though.
>ultralite: something take down probably a 22LR. >glamper: take your pick of 1000 dollar AR with another 2 grand of mods and attachments >primitivists: muzzle loader >bushcraft: .308 or .30-06 remington 700
People who can afford to go glamping do so. Everyone else does car-camping at a campground — that is, bringing everything they need to be comfortable in a vehicle directly to a prepared camping site with amenities on-site. Boomers will go in an RV. Backpackers don’t camp, they typically just hike and if they stay overnight it’ll be in a hotel or permanent shelter. Bushcrafting is an entertainment genre on YouTube and doesn’t exist irl — I’m sure there are people who try it as a fun adventure but I bet hardly anyone does it more than once thanks to the extreme discomfort.
I don’t know man. For me and my friends it’s all about the larp. Pack everything you need for a week in rucks, and just go out and hike, shoot, and camp. You get to practice some land nav, get good exercise, be away from it all, and if you want you can just pick a spot and stay there or pick up and move every day. It really is the best way to get the most out of the outdoors
Looking back it was probably unclear why I said that. It's not anything against officers, I wore it for a long time. Really I just hate the flight caps in general. Typically when on the road I just wore a ball cap on the jet, and went without a cover to the hotel. Glad you boys are having fun, just a personal greivance. What does your friend like about them that makes him want to take it out camping?
The cap actually belongs to me, my friend took the picture. It’s a couple things, 1) I saw a single picture of a non pilot/ non rescue officer attached to a rescue unit in vietnam and he wore the cap with ERDL’s and I thought it looked cool
2) I never wanted to be in the AF or in maintenance. But money and contracts kept me out of the infantry I fell in love with when I went to an SMC. So I like to wear it when I’m trying to stay sharp as a reminder that there’s supposed to be more to being an officer than spreadsheets and meetings

Originally, but not now. I took a week of leave en route after completing amoc a couple months ago to go larp with my buddy in the Corps. So these pictures come from that in the Pisgah. I get my shooting in where I can now that I’m stationed in Europe

I've not been to Pisgah, my wife really likes Asheville, but I'm not sold on it. Maybe I'll have something to look forward to next time we go. I won't ask you to doxx yourself, but I hope you are at a nice base in Europe (the maintenance guys in ramstein always seemed stressed out with how busy it is. )
anything new tech i guess
i like older style clothing but when it comes to tents, backpacks, and similar i use modern equipment most of the time
if i am camping on a mountain i will pack light
if i am setting up a multi week camp i glamp
I'm an absolute troglodyte: I am too poor for gadgets and gear, I'm not smart enough for all that bushcrafting, but I am tough as nails and love being outside. Absolute forest hobo.
odd blend of old and new tech, minimal. i use an external frame nylon backpack and wear mostly wool clothes, but the backpack is full of dyneema ditty bags and a silnylon hammock/tarp. so kinda stealth ultralight but not really concerned about ounces
Somewhere between primitivist and bushcrafter. Bring in the basics, mostly milsurp. Not a fan of new tech, that's all; nothing but personal preference. The "bushcrafter" in picrel is closer to glamping though, bringing his own chair, table and IKEA cooking utensils like that.
On the boarder midway between primitivist and bushcrafter and midway down on old tech
This is my Rendezvous camp for events if I bring it all. Usually I can strap on my bedroll, backpack, diamond fly, packframe and everything else and be like 40 pounds.
Primitivist
I'm not a camper though, i just like to build shit with sticks in my backyard.
My tool of choice is a hatchet i got from a gas station when i was 15
Slightly right of middle newtech.
Going snow camping Friday with mostly UL gear but I'll have two sleeping pads, a chair, tent, 10mm glawk and pre-made, fully hydrated food.
Only going 2 miles from the truck because we can find solitude easily when there's still 4 foot of snow on the ground.
Will be less than a half day's run for the cougars that are killing bipeds around here.
a happy one :3
gayper it is

How do grown white men in their mid 20s or even older know about chinese cartoon women shows? Are you guys trans? Or just Asian guys with low test?
a shitskin wouldn't understand

anime is not popular with gays, that might explain it

Anon please stop entertaining newbies.
PrepHole is an imageboard for anime fans who like the outdoors
Have you forgotten what website you're on?
glamping is fun, enjoying the best conveniences modern life has to offer with a beautiful view that you don't pay property taxes on is based
Just sleep on the ground like a man homosexual
the drunk one
Whichever one brings a gun?
If all then what guns are they using?
THEY ALL USE A COLT M1911 CHAMBERED IN GOD’S CALIBER ‘YOUNGIN.

>If all then what guns are they using?
old tech minimalist = flintlock
>synthetic stock on a flintlock
But... why
Because its cheaper and he had to spend money on homosexual shit like anime dolls
He might plan to actually use it outside?
Wood stocks look nice, and that's it, they expand and contract much more with moisture and temp.
Probably doesn't mean much for accuracy on a flintlock though.
>But... why
Because fiber optic sights look out of place on a wooden stock
Did you also get it on the midwayUSA sale for $180?
>flintlock for $180

A primitivist wouldn’t take a gun with him.
A primitivist would bring one of these
Frick you I do all four depending on what I’m in the mood for
I dont camp
>bushcrafter
>gear indulgent
Only if you count the stuff you make while PrepHole. Ultralighters bring more shit with them, it's just light.
Naturist, I own nothing and I am happy.

The waffle top is by far my favorite issued item. The strange part about it is that I never wear it at work. Just around the house and innawoods

Mega cringe. Glad he's outside though.
Someone’s salty he didn’t go to college

ultralighter because its literally more gucci prada fendi than glamping
Probably in the middle
I wanna be more gear indulgent and tech but im poor
I'm an absolute troglodyte: I am too poor for gadgets and gear, I'm not smart enough for all that bushcrafting, but I am tough as nails and love being outside. Absolute forest hobo.
Glamping I guess? I'm not gear obsessed and don't bring more than a sleep setup and a cast iron pot but I'm not exactly bushcrafting either.

I have:
Bushcrafter vibes
Ultralighter pack
Glamper tools
Primitivist mind set
Once again, I'm neutral
The chosen one
i dont really go with one side consistently, it really depends what i feel like
I will give you one hint
Ah, american, 300 lbs or more and a larper.

Fricking kek thats what i tought, lots of unpracticed information

Normally i dont care for slice of life stuff but this seems interesting. Is it worth a watch?
of course, it's an PrepHole classic
Yes, it's really comfy.
Started rewatching it yesterday while I wait for better weather, or more snow, whatever comes first.
Primitivist
I'm not a camper though, i just like to build shit with sticks in my backyard.

I don't feel like I fit in any of these categories.
I'm whatever sort of camper you'd call a 90's boyscout. Maybe Bushcrafter fits that best.
But I was also into the Wilderness Survival stuff, so that pulls towards minimalism.
I guess I'm an Old Tech centrist?
Somenthing between ultralighter and bushcrafter.
