Tie between welders getting btfo by child support, and electricians getting yelled at by the boss to go faster

      Anonymous

Electricians aren't miserable but they make every other person around them miserable. Fricking soft hand poofs that never pick up after themselves.

      concrete guys

Concrete guys are usually chill because most of them are migrant workers or some other brown race. But theres always one thats a complete fricking nutcase. Usually the boss or forman of the crew. Just fricking screaming at c**ts all the time.

Painters are usually miserable fricks. Being hungover every day doesn't help

Painters are actually just brain damaged because they inhale fumes all day and wash their hands with solvent. The copious amounts of pot and alcohol they consume definitely doesn't help.

For me its drain layers. The most dumb c**t sad sack bunch of fricking morons on the jobsite. They just rip shit and bust everything in their path and have no fricking foresight at all. I'm surprised most of them have survived as long as they have. Always late, never finish what they actually came to do and when you try and ask them anything they get defensive cause they actually can't talk to anyone who doesn't speak monkey like they do.

Residential repair plumbing. My bro (who was large with a large wife and porcine offspring with horrid diets which eventually killed him) had a shitpipe break beneath his trailer and they didn't notice because cool weather until the lake of buttlogs became large and fragrant.

Plumber arrives, dons cheap slicker (no PPE) and dives beneath then spends an hour fixing the pipe while lying in fermenting shitsoup. Bro trades him an aluminum truck box and he toddles off happy.

Now picture doing that for Section 8 housing or a trailer park. I'd turn to crime first.

Mfs are actually just a different breed of human if not human at all and just love playing with shit. Same goes with portable toilet management crew. Frickers will come to site, suck weeks worth of rancid turds out of the port-a-loo then stop and have lunch no hesitation.

paid a company to empty my septic tank, they sent a truck out to do the job. right off the bat I could tell he was a pro. he pried the lid open, and it fell inside. the lid to the septic tank sunk to the bottom. No problem, he said, and he jumped in head-first to retrieve it. He came up for air twice before he finally managed to get his hands on the lid, and bring it to the surface.
Some things I won't DIY, but if I did, I would have pumped that tank out first, and then worried about the lid later.

This. Electricians are miserable because they don’t have any friends. The natural enemies of the electrician are the plumber, the framer, the hvac guy, the painter, the day laborer, the welder, the pipe fitter, the concrete guy, the carpenter, the instrument tech, the crane operator and riggers, the safety homosexual, the electrical engineer, the civil engineer, the superintendent, the roofer, and last but not least the other electricians.

This. Almost every insulator I've worked around started their jobs involuntarily because they need to make alimony payments or support a drug/alcohol habit. Insulators work enough hours until they qualify for unemployment insurance and then dick around for a few months until they need to qualify for more UI hours. Their primary tool is a steak knife and numerous insulators have attempted to fake workplace injuries so they can get on disability benefits. Just sad sacks all around.

This is where I'm starting next week with a big local hvac company... just wrapped up trade school and found that places won't hire me for any more serious positions without at least a year of experience. Hoping I can stick it out for 6 months and switch departments in the company to maintenance or something, then weigh my options again once I've been there a year.

idk why this hasn't been brought up: drywallers (pedophiles, drunks, potheaded illegals) working in major cities unknown to the starbucks lovers.
flooring guys (refinishers, sanders, polishers etc) getting high on their product faster than a painter with their lacquer thinner. at the end of the day they're useless shaking drunks

I know it's not a trade in itself but management is always the most miserable by far

literally all of them are pretty damn miserable. trades is slave tier work.

just lift weights and get an office job. then you can be tougher than tradies and you can be around girls.

25y/o electrician apprentice here. I feel your pain. I know more about what I do than the 30+ year experience "elektrishun" that I'm currently paired with. He's a nice guy, but he's moronic. And most of my coworkers around my age are more concerned with their paycheck than they are with doing things in a professional manner. My bosses like me because I'm nice and I don't frick things up, and they know I make them a lot of money. 100's on all my grades.
I miss living up north, even though the people are generally more miserable.

This is part of why I dropped the tradie meme and found a different career. Almost every single person I've ever met in my field (carpenter gay) was completely fricking moronic and barely competent. In fact, I've noticed the boomers who talked the most shit were the worst carpenters.

Agi driver here. We get to kick back, work our remote control, and watch tradie gays work hard. It's so fricking easy I almost feel guilty getting paid.
