holy mother of price gouging
these cost 13€ here and only carpenters and tradies use them and they are throw-away products, cheaper to buy a new one than spending time sharpening it when they get dull enough.
never seen one used for outdoors stuff.
okay but i still repeat it >outdoors >bring plastic cutlery
kys
morakniv is the cheapest knifes found in big boxes on the counter of the hardware store, they have shit edges and rip or saw the fish open more than cutting them, that sorry excuse of an edge they barely hold for an entire fish. you literally only see tradies or kids use them here and im conviced they only sell well abroad bc muh swedish quality while they are ikea knifes at best. there are so many much better knifes out there thats proper outdoors equipment, will hold their edge for 10+ years, is made from wood, steel and leather and will last so long you can pass it out to your son. and they cost less than the morakniv op posted.
morakniv is a cringe PrepHole meme.
holy frick you have no clue what you are talking about. out of the sheath they are some sharp knives and if you have any remote knife sharpening knowledge you can make them better in 5 minutes. it feel like you are confusing two different knives or some other mora. either way you are frickin dumb as shit.
>TLDR I work with metal as a job and do alot of outdoors work in the PNW and actually beat the shit out of my knives.

forgot pic. doesnt matter if you believe me. its real
when prices go really high like that on Amazon it just means "out of stock"
just get a 511 or a non heavy duty companion instead.
the normal companion has a much more useful sized blade, the heavy duty's too thick. yeah its cool that you can climb trees with a pair of the heavy duty ones but the normal one's better.
mora makes good high-end knives too but the one in the picture is the common $5-10 all-round knife that craftsmen use, they're not even worth the time to sharpen, why the frick is that site selling them at a 2000% markup?
Mfs in a mora thread b***hing about sharpening when a scandi grind is the simplest thing in the world to sharpen. Which is precisely why it works as a cheap camp knife. And whoever thought a mora was a good knife for fish prep needs to be bonked on the head; there's no saving them.
no knife can do it all moron, there are tasks only a thick blade, or a thin blade can do. and tasks for certain shapes. if you need two knives you bring two knives.
the 511 and companion mora is good because its 10 dollars, light weight, and does most outdoor tasks.
typical euro 4reigner moron.
none of them go outside.
look at the backpack thread they're unironically recommending each other xxLBE assault packs for hiking in.
you know the ones notorious among armed service members for being DOGSHIT that used to not sell for $20 on ebay.
look at the flashlight thread and they're completely oblivious to the fact that everyone hikes with headlamps now.
they're preppers, they don't leave the house.
there's a reason you never see this kind of gear in the wild (you don't go outside & everyone knows its shit for hiking)

Stop pretending to know shit and go outside.
here.
Preppers are a fat issue and hard to distinguish from people who (even try to) go outdoors, but I think a large part of this is also just consumerist bullshit and teens wanting to buy backpacks that look cool because 'wow MOLLE i can strap shit to this'.
People here buy stuff and never use it, though even if you're just a prepper you should at least get a bit familiar with your tools.
I still like traditional flashlights because they keep bugs away from my face, sorry
180$? Lol, that costs literally ten times less in Europe.
Mora knives have a shitass laminate structure with just a paper thin layer of hard steel just in the middle. That's what makes them so b***h to sharpen.
i'll give you some credit, i see a lot of chinks in 80's technicolor. >I still like traditional flashlights because they keep bugs away from my face, sorry

This. they don't want to delist the product, as that takes extra time to delist and then relist. Easier to just set it to $10,000
I want to buy it now just to put them in trouble

Because you post it around enough and if one person buys it, its worth it.
99 Swedish Kroner are something around 9-10 US-Dollar / Euro
