What the frick is John Halo holding in this scene? It looks like some fricked version of the SIG MPX but the mag doesn't look right.

That's that famas them Europeans love
SMG from ODST with Halo TV level of effort
Swiss B&T APC-9.
Jfc I think you're right. Fricking mind boggling how cosplayers make better looking props out of plastic and duct tape than a multi-million dollar film studio.
most of the guns from star wars were just as half-assed and they're the most iconic sci-fi weapons of all time
Even the star wars blasters made in the fricking 80's had more effort put into them. There was literally no attempt to make the guns in this show 'sci-fi' looking. The halo tv show even has the advantage of pre-established references in games while star wars only had novels.
>Even the star wars blasters made in the fricking 80's had more effort put into them
Some of them. Not pictured, the DLT-19, which is just an MG-34 without a belt.
they aren't interested in making a good show, they're interested in showing their disdain for a project that they think is beneath them
The directors said they didn't read the books or play the games, Legends is still better
No they didn’t
>legends
surprisingly good, love this short and the ODST one as well.
99% of the budget of ANY show now goes to writers and actors. Look at the props in historical shows like the Netflix Alexander show, look at the CGI in Masters of the air, look at the quality of guns and costumea in any modern crime ahow. The quality of everything is pathetic and blatantly grafted by studio israelites.
This is all true. Modern Hollywood is aggressively not nearly as interested in the actual creative/storytelling side of things as they were even 15 years ago, let alone compared to the 80s or 90s.
It's become a very strange capital growth scheme, where the participants want to make as much money as humanly possible, while also being lavished with as many benefits as possible. So the creative side is sucked dry to *try* to accommodate this weird, impossible game they're playing these days.
And that's not even factoring in the utter and complete rot of leftoid social justice shit. They've gone and *literally* hired tumblrinas and redditors to become screenwriters, just in case you've ever wondered why shows and films started to feel like shitty, usually self-insert fanfiction starting around ~2016.
It's all about passion, comrade.
B&T PDW with a amazon airsoft red dot
>John Halo
oh they *really* dont give a frick on that show huh
They don't actually call him John Halo, that was a joke, but they may as well have considering how bad everything else is
oh sorry for the confusion, I know John [Franchise name] is a common thing everyone does to refer to characters. It was more that, without being told the pic was from the Halo tv show, I would never have been able to guess what it was from. I probably would have assumed Reacher or something.
and, obviously his name is Captain King.
I just pretend nothing happened after Halo reach.
So production know they're not getting a 3rd season of this dogshit and just gave up?
I hope so because this show is a giant turd.
someone on /vg/s /hg/ said that it was spite and it makes sense in the context that 343 era halo does it best to piss on the fans.
>someone on /vg/s /hg/ said that it was spite
>The directors said they didn't read the books or play the games, Legends is still better
they really are all like this. that Avatar netflix show is another perfect example, just pure contempt for the property they're making an adaptation of. they're "fixing it" so its now for "grown-ups"
they are hacks that attach themselves to established ips in order to sell their own shit.people complained that master cheeks constantly took off his helmet in s1 so they took it to a new level by taking his armor off.for them its just a chance to rise up the ladder and get a paycheck.
That's the whole TV/movie industry now, it would seem. Do a remake/sequel/live-action adaptation of a beloved piece of media, do something artificially controversial with casting or direction to boost publicity, yell at fans for not liking the eventual low-quality product that is made, and ride it out for as long as you can. We keep seeing it happen over and over again, and idk why people keeping paying to watch this shit when a hatred of the core fanbase is a requirement for the scheme to work.
It doesn't even make sense because a lot of them end up getting burned when the next project they go to see how little effort they put into the last one. The bosses don't care why you didn't do your job right when they're deciding whether to give you another one.
I don't think they cynically do it like the other anon was implying. I mean why purposely sabotage a show for cheap outrage when fans will lap up even a halfassed effort? (Forward unto Dawn for example.)
They seriously believe that video games are bing bing wahoo for kids and they can improve it with the mature emotional modern story they've been waiting their whole "career" to tell. The property itself is just a vehicle to get a budget and people in the door and they think their long unappreciated talent will finally be recognized.
Of course the show flops because they're actually hacks and their ideas are shit - even to casual audiences let alone the fans. But that doesn't hurt them, they come up with a bunch of copes and move on to the next project.
>I mean why purposely sabotage a show for cheap outrage
Creative accounting.
>it's... le clever!
it's not, it's just rich kid nepo hires who don't respect anything and don't want to do the grind to the top
Didn't the game of thrones people flub the ending on purpose so they could run off and do something else? And then got canned from that because why would anyone trust them to do anything after what they did to GoT?
Yep
I don't get why he's not in his armor. Like, it's Halo. The whole point is a big green armored dude killing aliens. Nobody wants to see him outside the armor. How this managed to get a second season is beyond me
They should have adapted the original Vang/Starhammer books Halo was plagiarized from.
Why are you watching this shit? What the frick is wrong with you?
Because I'm a halo nerd cuck that's starved for content. I fricking love this franchise and can't cope with the fact that it's been raped and destroyed by gays and corporatism.
Tbh. I should've just stopped at the episode where one of the "Spartan IIs" visits another Spartan II washout who is a fat gay albino nig (not exaggerating btw, this is an actual character in the show) having dinner with his gay boyfriend on reach.
God that's so hot
cant even tell if sarcasm or just zog clownworld
A poet and a prophet.
soul
I can't wish for total nuclear annihilation enough. Death to the human race.
Is this the same episode that "command" takes away chief's armor as some sort of moronic punishment? He has to defend the base in his fatigues
good god. the covenant should have won.
Why isn’t he in armor?
Is that Master Cheeks?
I'm glad I never touched Halo after 4. That franchise is long dead.
I actually liked Infinite's campaign. Shame the company decided to not make any DLC
Story DLC you mean. They've still got a battle pass (lol).
Yeah Infinite felt a lot like CE which was good, story was kinda eh, Game play and how things looked was good
343 are lazy tards though, in the hologram flashback part, Cortana has the correct look but Chief has the wrong model of armor on for the time the flashback took place, God that pissed me off so much
I'm fully convinced at this point that pretty much every media company is just a money laundering scheme
John Halo
