This. It's like people have completely forgotten the actual history of the weapon.

I remember that hipowers and handguns website reading about how the only thing Browning contributed was the general double-stack. Saive had to wait for the patent on the Colt Browning designs to expire so they could make the HiPower.
also the biggest hint about Browning not creating it is he died in 1926 and the HiPower is from the mid 30's
The name of the pistol is right there in the filename, you silly goose. It is none other than the most venerable Lahti L-35 pistol chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. When fed with overpressured ammunition, the first fracture point is usually around the accelerator region.
>When fed with overpressured ammunition
Which includes anything modern
Not even Magtech is weak enough for it in the long run, which is why I have held off on buying one
I've heard that a lot but I've also heard opposite claims. It sucks that I haven't found any load data for how the war time pistol rounds were loaded. Maybe it's all just sitting in some obscure book somewhere in some collector's basement. But since I don't even have any reloading equipment for the time being, I guess a Parabellum would be a more sensible purchase before the Lahti.
Personally partial to my CZ, but in the end the only thing that matters is that it reliably puts holes in whatever thing you point it at.
The rest is personal preference
I think the P226 is pretty neat. Wild to see how badly its reputation has been downgraded due to Sig's business practices over the past decade. Was one of /k/'s favorite handguns at one point.
This thing is fun too.
P99 everyone seems to like but I've never shot one and they're discontinued.

Glock 17
Probably this one yeah. Sadly enough. But it werks.
I don't like glock but the glock 17 is -the- 9mm fullsize handgun
As much as I don't like Glocks, yeah, pretty much this.
There is only one answer, and it's in OP.
The colt SAA rechambered for 9mm.

SIG P210. Not even a competition
>lust provoking image

Most aesthetic one.
Probably the P30L or the vp9. Basically the best gun (usp) but with improved ergos.
The USP is very mid
In 9mm maybe, it’s the best .45acp.
HK45 is a improvement of USP 45
Better DA pull
Slimmer grip
better reliability
P226
it's the one the Navy Seals use, and they're the deadliest fighting force on Earth
only if it has the basic b***h anchor tattoo
Nice bait
