Im sorry but even if I were a multi-quadrillionaire I would not spend $30K on a fricking semi automatic rifle. Just not cool enough to warrant it.
Hell I wouldn't even spend that on a transferable MG, id just start my own bullshit business, get an SOT and have all the MGs I want
That's an absurd price, and its only selling because there are people who legitimately think that's the best rifle ever made, and that KAC is the best AR manufacturer ever.
Yeah man, you being rich means that this gun is worth $30K. Congratulations, you've successfully flexed on us poors. Hey speaking of, why don't you show us your $30K rifle? Maybe lean it up next to your Ferrari too?
Yeah, a classic car would be much sweeter for that price point.
As cool as it would be, im more talking about just being smart with the money. At any level of wealth, dropping $30K on a toy is just silly. So is dropping $300K on a Lamborghini.
I mean do it if you want, but personally id put that money into actual assets, or just save it to give to my heirs. Donate it, something
Yeah I am. Post $30K rifle.
Hell, id be impressed if you could post a $3K rifle

$11K short, and likely bought at different times, making it much more manageable than $30K all at once or even $7K/month, but better than nothing.
All that said, id rather have either of those guns than the KAC, so I cant help but wonder why you'd defend a less capable gun, being sold for more than both of your guns combined.
That's what they charge the US DoD, they can't list it lower than that or else the fed will sue them for price disparity from their contract. Its the cost of the entire setup plus the total sum of warranty service including parts, it is not meant for the civilian consumer to buy.
If this is the case, its a bit more acceptable. Perhaps they only produce so few that that's the only way it'd be worth selling. Still though people pay wayyyyy over MSRP for KAC products, simply because they think it'll make them operators, and ive seen this many times in person. The one guy I know who owns the most KAC products, is also short, fat, and israeli. Not kidding

Brother, it doesn't matter. The same logic can be applied to virtually anything (e.g., 80-100k overlanding rigs, 13k watches, etc.). No one is saying you're gay because you don't want to buy it.

You think you won with that? Those are 2 separate rifles that are worth their value. It still doesn't justify dropping 30K on a fricking KAC DMR lol.

Those rifles are actually cool. The KAC isn’t worth 30k. Expensive things are nice and what you have was money well spent compared to the OP. This only proves OPs point though, as you have actually interesting rifles instead of an overbuilt AR.

that's a nice ballista, does the 308 barrel come along with it or is it a separate piece you have to purchase?
I've been out of the game for about 8 years. When I got out I was near the top of the food chain in terms of real world application of semi auto sniper systems, but in 2024 I am not current and informed as to what's not only available, but what's also performing at or beyond stated manufacturers promises. My default answer is and always will be: look at what CAG brings to the international sniper competition. They might not be the best match shooters against civilians with hand loads and moonlight as gunsmiths, but those dudes know what's the best at any given time and have the budget and freedom to use whatever the frick they want.
furthermore, observe the $30,000 rifle at 1:24 and tell me you want a gun so reliable at failing to feed after 20 rounds that you have to slingshot the bolt, likely inducing a double feed, because the gun's so gunked up and some fudfrick morons decided not to require the gun to have a forward assist.
I can't recall ever reading a single positive thing about these rifles from anyone who was issued one or had to work on them. I also remember armorers saying KAC is fricking horrible to deal with when something inevitably goes breasts up on one.
I was also issued this piece of shit and used it for 2 years, finishing a couple months ago. Didn't go to combat because it's the >current year but I can confirm the 110 still sucks ass.
That's what they charge the US DoD, they can't list it lower than that or else the fed will sue them for price disparity from their contract. Its the cost of the entire setup plus the total sum of warranty service including parts, it is not meant for the civilian consumer to buy.
Only boomers have this kind of power to make a moronic product like a piece of metal be worth 30k. No other group can artificially leverage a product such moronic heights of money except israelites and they are not into guns.
You could also just build an SR25 pattern rifle with a better barrel for around that price now that the clone uppers are being made.
None of this, of course, takes into account the cost of genuine FDE, which is made from a mix of WMD burn pile residue, Hussein family 24kt gold and Iraqi civilian blood.
>which is made from a mix of WMD burn pile residue, Hussein family 24kt gold and Iraqi civilian blood.
I bet I could get a color match done for like, $200.
That price should be for the full "deployment kit" not just the rifle. It comes with optics, bipod, night vision scope, suppressor, case, mags and other shit and in a hard case. If they are charging that much for just the rifle its a complete ripoff.
Nothing, it was bad enough that KAC couldn't even be bothered to give good guns to the US Military so they went to HK instead. It's the holy grail of Gunkopops
LMT absolutely mog KAC in terms of quality and innovation, and the premiums on their reference rifles is literally just the cost of the extra components.
And LMT reference rifles aren't homosexual replicas of a rifle which underperformed, made on different machines years later, to cash in on GWOT nostalgia, they're real current contracts in semi-auto.
I'm pretty sure this is an actual contract overrun/service marked rifle, comes with the pelican case, nsn marked correct optic, tool kit and suppressor. The "full kit". I could be wrong. They sold SR25 marked "clones" with incorrect markings for ~$10k for almost a decade, there are plenty of them out there.
The funny thing is they are really not great, full stock has known issues breaking, the sleeve suppressor destroys the hidden part of the barrel under it (finish burns off and leaves huge pits from corrosion), and they get so filthy they arguably need a forward assist. Grotesquely heavy. Aside from the GWOT collectibility it's an average AR10. You can get a new mlok one with a collapsible stock for $5000, like $800-1000 more than an MR762
You can build an unregistered AR-10 in the same caliber with a variable optic, thermal clip, suppressor, and folding stock for a fraction of the price.
With even just a scope or variable optic you have a weapon of the same effective function in power and range.
Would much rather arm multiple people for practical reasons than collect guns like artifacts or toys.
You can only use one rifle at a time, it is better to have many friends than many expensive guns.
Scarcity
>$8k a month layaway
If a dude can afford that layaway, he can afford 30k up front
Imagine having both the lack of impulse control and the patience necessary to buy something on long-term layaway
>ah yes thank you for the interest, goy. The principal? oh 100 went towards that.
thanks for your business
More like layagay
It’s for people who just want to play with it for a little while
Brand and being clone correct
any answer is pointless for (You) but go ahead and reply now about why it's totally your choice that you can't afford it and why its a good thing
Im sorry but even if I were a multi-quadrillionaire I would not spend $30K on a fricking semi automatic rifle. Just not cool enough to warrant it.

using your phone to golf clap at your own joke is not a new tech, big guy

Part and parcel for overrated guns
Do you cum when your dad fists you?

nah, if I drop that much it'll be on a cannon or something silly like that
I would just get a g3, do a
psg1 conversion buy 10 thousand rounds and spend the other 32000 on st judes teddy bear blankets
Other 22k* derp
Mechanic needs one for a quest.
Is this a stealth PSA thread?
Yeah. The KAC can't even manage a fricking 1MOA 10-shot group
Absolutely worthless outside of collector interest
Only boomers have this kind of power to make a moronic product like a piece of metal be worth 30k. No other group can artificially leverage a product such moronic heights of money except israelites and they are not into guns.

Hell, you can buy a regular sr25 plus the suppressor for just under 8k, throw in some quality glass and you’re still under 10
but not the right shade of baby poop brown.
That price should be for the full "deployment kit" not just the rifle. It comes with optics, bipod, night vision scope, suppressor, case, mags and other shit and in a hard case. If they are charging that much for just the rifle its a complete ripoff.

Sneakerhead culture weaving it's way into gun culture has been a massive blow.

Anything less and you might as well just have a nice day with it since it'll explode like that junk from palmetto state armory.
