a combination of being deployed incredibly moronicly in Ukraine and their skills being significantly overrated to the point that they seemed to believe their own hype has made them an endangered species.
But is correct, Puccia can always just send new stupid homosexuals to stupid homosexual school for a week and call them VDV.

the original cubes were claimed to be holhol remains until it was located to Russia territory
Then they said it was slaughterhouse remains but the area is a chicken farm
Then they said it was meat for dogs, but there's no kennel in the area
Then one of the pictures of the cube showed a human liver and a foot.

I'm not surprise Russian are willing to do this.
Or even feeding their own soldiers with their own.

Look I find cubed mobiks as humouros as the next person but it doesnt make sense. Why would you cube the dead? Also where are the bones? If you werent aware people are filled with bones, or would you have me believe the russians took them out? So nah, shit aint mobiks. But I will still joke about it being mobiks.

The odds of it being abandoned animal refuse from a local slaughterhouse is about 99.5%.
At first I was trashing it for being a dumb meme but then I saw the absolute seething it caused amongst /chuggers/. Those "people" can be confronted with videos of Russian soldiers literally assfricking each other with little to no reaction.

            I say praise the cube

Ignoring the fact people claimed to see human faces and foot in the cube, the fact that the story changed several times throughout the day
            >This is Ukrainians turning their dead into meat
            >Then when it was gelocated to Russia it became 'discarded meat' - here is the factory as proof
            >Then the 'factory' turned out to be a chicken farm
            >Then the chicken farm turned out to be not active
            >Then there was silence for awhile until some Russian (I assume official) on telegram posted pictures of the cube being removed, the road being covered in white powder (disinfectant) and stating 'This was humanitarian aid for a veterinary clinic, it was liver and intestines for dogs'
Which seems awfully odd since it was nowhere near any of those kind of places and when Russian soldiers are complaining about lack of food, the humanitarian aid is going to dog shelters first?

Is it really beyond your belief that Russians could be throwing corpses into grinders for dog food or whatever as a way of making a bit more money? I mean if you're paid per meat cube and there are hundreds of bodies that are just going to be dumped into a mass grave because you can't afford to pay compenstation to the families so you say they're MIA, then why not? The bodies are just going decompose in the ground so use the meat. It's all mushed up anyway.
            >Why was it discarded then!?
You ask. Well, simple, they discovered there was obvious human remains still in it and decided to dump it in order to avoid being implicated in the entire thing.

Now that's a human foot blown off. The bone shape and insole curvature is unmistakable imo. The only problem is that the toes have been blown off, which to be honest if it's the corpse of a zigger riding a BTR when it hit a mine, or hit a mine itself, is not unlikely at all.

It's not hard to find, but I've never seen them using a shitty Novorussia flag that 1 or 2 inches. I've seen them using the big Velcro patches, but I've never seen an image of the small Novorussia flag in the arm of a mobik. But look what I found in pic related. So yeah, those shitty little flags exist and can easily be distributed and patched into uniforms. I think this kinda closes the case.

it's a pallet covered in some kind of rotten meat. Ziggers tried to claim it was Ukrainians. The original photos were geolocated to the middle of Russia, and suddenly they started shrieking that it was garbage from a meat processing plant (iirc there's only one nearby and it does poultry, which that does NOT look like).
So nobody knows what it really is, but memers started saying the cube of gross meat was chopped up vatniks being shipped home on a pallet and that REALLY MAKES THEM SEETHE

To be fair others said it was dead Russian conscripts. The original social media post with a number of pictures seems to indicates its waste from a meat processing plant. Whatever it was, it looks like it fell off or was intentionally pushed off a truck. The guy who posted it was understandably pissed and demanding someone pick it up. He was saying it looked horrible and smelled even worse.

                >invite the Russians in
there's the false asumption tho, the part of inviting ziggers into their country. i'm pretty sure most of them didn't invite russia and it was mostly done by fsb glowies like girk and disgruntled ukies like givi, motorola and other bydlo who were then seizing power, killing ukrainian loyalists and intimidating everyone who stood against them.
during that time anyone with half a brain simply dipped for west europe or usa and the majority of those who stayed was shelled by their russian allies who in turn blamed it on ukrainian forces, all the while also bringing in many russian citizens who would then larp as poor shelled locals in front if russian news cameras.
the only thing you can blame donbabweans and lugandis for is their apathetic passivity which led them to be taken over by russia in a time of general chaos and falling for fsb glowie propaganda afterwards.

Daily reminder that at the sart of the conflict the UkroBlack folk were claiming russians had mobile crematorium to burn their dead, now they say they smash them into meat pallets, in 2 weeks they will say russians eat their own dead because they dont have food left (but still UkroBlack folk wont be able to succeed in any counter offensiv because of everyone but them)

This, but unironically. The USSR was shipping aid(s) to africa even when their own peasants were basically starving. Blackphilia was a big thing in the USSR. Unfortunately the west tried to outplay the USSR at their own game and here we are now.

What a crock of shit. The only reason USSR sent anything to Africa was to fight Western influence and development. Russia is the reason much of Africa remains a shit hole and the fall of Rhodesia was nothing but a Moscow psyop.

In the cube, it's only the rotten fat and decomposed flesh that oozes out.

              Anonymous

              >why cube the dead
Because you can make more profit. Wagner had contracts to supply meat to the armed forces. Can't meet quota? Use mobiks. I'm not saying this is a common occurance, but some guy might have thought 'give it a try' and it failed so he went 'frick dump it' and it gets dumped. Some people pointed out a human face and foot in the image so unless that was edited, I dunno senpai.

There are plenty of reasons to do it. Russians were complaining their mass graves were being discovered by Ukrainians as they pulled back and this gave the Ukrainians an estimate on where they were based on the ground conditions and what direction they were going. If there is no grave or body, there is nothing to pay the families. So on, so forth.

As for the bones, it's quite possible it is inside but the gooey bits have oozed out. Who knows. As

              [...]

You ask. Well, simple, they discovered there was obvious human remains still in it and decided to dump it in order to avoid being implicated in the entire thing.

the original cubes were claimed to be holhol remains until it was located to Russia territory
Then they said it was slaughterhouse remains but the area is a chicken farm
Then they said it was meat for dogs, but there's no kennel in the area
Then one of the pictures of the cube showed a human liver and a foot.

said, why did the claim from Russia change so many times? Seems... odd.

We also wouldn't have assumed the mobik cube was real if the russians didn't tell us it was by trying to say it's what Ukraine was doing with their own dead, since they love to project.

The only thing that makes me think it still may be vatniks is how disgusting and shitty they are to their own people, so of course the least ceremonious way of dealing with their fallen would be one that is both heinous and dishonorable. But I mean, it's not like they clean up after themselves. I genuinely thought they just left their dead in piles and the Ukrainians were going to bulldoze their waste into the shitty trenches Russians built.

But their really isn't a bottom-of-the-barrel when it comes to terrible things people (Russians especially) will do, so it's possible it actually is a cube of dead vatniks.

This has a long tradition behind it. Stalin had like seven -- SEVEN -- divisions of paratroops when the Germans invaded. Did he use them to seize bridges and then demolish them and retreat, or drop them to help out local partisans, or anything that might have made sense? No. They were used as light infantry and destroyed in combat in a matter of weeks.

Uh.. No I know people who served in government capacity in Moscow in the late 70s and while the Sov's promoted brotherhood & racial harmony, behind the scenes was quite opposite. White russians, as a whole, have a natural predilection towards their own kind. Foreign students from Soviet backed regimes in Africa were generally kept separate.

I can't say with any educated authority if that behaviour still exists but given their history I wouldn't be surprised if it still did.

This, but unironically. The USSR was shipping aid(s) to africa even when their own peasants were basically starving. Blackphilia was a big thing in the USSR. Unfortunately the west tried to outplay the USSR at their own game and here we are now.

Hostomel is a fascinating battle because things went well for both sides, but it shows how dogged determination on the part of the Ukrainians and poor timing for the Russians decided the outcome. Turning what could have been a quick capture and Rusdian victory, into what we have now.
The fixed wing VDV units were stood down after the helo forces in Hostomel hit resistance. By any time they considered trying to land again, the Ukrainians were shelling the airport and scattering the Russians into the surrounding woods and towns. Where we got some of the first footage of Ukrainian TDF standing around burned out BMDs full of corpses.
The airborne operation went fairly well. It's just the main force which was supposed to link up never arrived. Which is always a risk in those operations.
Since then the VDV had been pressed into a light infantry role, where they tend to get slaughtered.

The timetable was impossibly optimistic. The main ground forces were never going to reach the airfield before Ukrainian artillery started shelling.

        Anonymous

The assumption was there wouldn't be any meaningful resistance. Which itself was moronicly optimistic. The entire operation should have been called of once the Kyiv convoy stalled.

          >The entire operation should have been called of once the Kyiv convoy stalled.
Putin would rather kill every man in Russia than admit defeat, and he's got a sliver of land that Ukrainians throw themselves at to no avail anyway. So he's just going to claim the special military operation was actually a rescue mission for donbas and luhansk and dare Ukraine to dislodge his men after saying Russians and Ukrainians are the same people being artificially divided to weaken Russia

            Anonymous

that sliver of land is being taken apart by just a few brigades they have almost reached the main defensive line and F-16s will take care of that

around bakhmut the defensive VDV battalions are suffering up to 50% casualties with over 100 dead each and one commander even became suicidal

Khrushchev was a genuine believer in gommunism, to the point that he got a lot of internal resistance for having the radical thought of "maybe we should focus on our economy rather than our military, because things are getting a little top-heavy". He believed that just a frickoff huge nuclear arsenal would be enough, and that the success of gommunism was so inevitable that he didn't think they needed to be too aggressive. He also spoke out in his secret speech against cults of personality and that Stalin was basically just a murderer.

Say what you will, the guy was a legit believer in the ideology and tried to put its tenants into various things like commieblocks and even was really into the idea of computers as a way to digitize their logistical networks and create a sort of moneyless economy, thus ensuring true equity. But he couldn't keep the internal politics of the USSR from devouring itself even back then, and after he left the gun-butter economic ratio swung super hard into the gun portion, and he couldn't make up for the fact that there was a lot of internal resistance to ideas. Combined with the USSR economy just not being competitive in precision engineering, cultural works (hollywood, music, radio), economic services (banking), and computing, none of his interests really panned out.

He is quite possibly one of very few Russian leaders to ever care, and the top commies seemed to hate him for it.

Got pretty fricked up in the early war. From what I heard from a Russian, the generals thought invading Ukraine would be just like 2014 and they could just walk in, because of this assumption the VDV (some of the most professional and competent soldiers in the Russian army) got their shit kicked in pretty hard. After the first stages of the invasion they went back to Russia to recuperate human and equipment losses, basically they're good soldiers got replaced with shit mobiks and their equipment replaced with shit (if replaced at all). The few VDV guys who survived are rather in higher paying jobs with Wagner, NCOs/officers in the VDV or are with the regular army guys in Zaporizhzhia.

It looks like several cloth bags containing meat were thrown in a bailing pressure, then pressed, them shrink wrapped after several presses.
I'm sorry it really looks like human bodies in uniforms thrown into bailing pressed in a stack pattern.
What is this thing? There wouldn't be a stack of meat like this laying around in the middle of a war zone. A dog or people would would eat it.
This could be people that would explain that. People would keep the dogs away and not eat it in a war zone with food shortages

This shit was rotting in the sun for days, maybe a week. Not even a dog would eat something that vile. It was also in a town in Belgorod, not in an active warzone.

The biggest flaw to me in the "it's mobiks cubed" argument is this.

One has to assume Russia cares enough about its dead soldiers to send them back to the motherland after their deaths. But one also must assume they care precisely little enough that they would put their bodies into trash compactors for more efficient bulk transportation. If they were to have burials for show, it would make more sense to pretend to bury nothing than to ship back cubified bulk remains that can't possibly be seen by the families of the deceased.

And hardest to believe of all, this also means Russia would have to be using pallets for logistics purposes.

your first failure is assuming basic human decency from the russian and assume it's for shipping back home.

I'm just wondering at what point it becomes more efficent for the Russians to ship their dead to a Warhammer 40k-tier hell factory where they get cubed and put on pallets, then wrapped, and then dumped on the side of the road somewhere as opposed to just digging a big pit and bulldozing them all in. It's gotta be some meat processing plant's offal, right?
