>Where's the footage then?
The US has sent well over a thousand Phoenix Ghost drones and not only have we never seen footage of them, we don't even know what they look like, not one verifiable pic of them. A lack of footage does not mean a lack of use, it means a lack of footage. If they don't release it, then you don't see it.
Footage is for moral purposes, if they can get the moral from showing cheap weapons then they aren't going to compromise the capabilities and tactics of the classified stuff.
>What happened to the Switchblades and the Produkt 305s? There's only footage of Lancets now
Not sure what a product 305s is but Ukraine has rarely released any of their drone footage that wasn't small unit commercial quadcopter stuff. The footage is probably embargoed by the countries that sent it. I don't know how the Switchblade 300 is but the 600 is basically a better Lancet so I imagine it will do fine, I hope they send thousands.
This basically. In the early days of the war the Ukies were releasing Bayraktar footage until Turkey told them to knock it off. The Puccians took this lack of footage to mean that 200% of Bayraktars had been destroyed xaxaxa*~~… and then the Flagship of the Black Sea Fleet got sunk while trying to target a Bayraktar lol.
The Product 305 is a Russian TV guided missile launched from Jets and Ka-52/Mi-28 choppers. There was some footage of them attacking Ukranian warehouses during the summer of last year
I suspect it's , but even with that you'd still expect some written feedback from somewhere. Speaking of
I heard the switchblades turned out to be too complicated to use and offered no advantage over other drones. Also lost connection a lot apparently.
Hearsay though.
, there was a thread before where an anon with a Ukie passport made claims on the general feedback of different NATO donations. For the switchblades, he said that the units that got them hated them and that there were one or two cases where they blew up in the tube.
Personally, switchblades do look like a GWOT era doctrine drone, when infantry didn't have an embedded "drone guy" with antennae, and hitting things with artillery was a lot more restricted compared to precision strikes from big and slow UAVs that enjoyed air supremacy.
Switchblade feedback was for some reason was always on extremes. There was one, now deleted, video of Ukrainian soldier showing off Switchblade and stating that they had 90% success rate with it and then other saying that it's complete shit
>Ukie passport
Protip, you can buy passports on alibaba for like $15. Nobody ever shows the inside on /k/ (duh), so you can get the fake ones and just show the front and people believe you. Not saying it wasn't legit but it's super easy to fake.
Switchblade 300 are genuine shit, especially for the price
Switchblade 600 is clearly overpriced as well, but they were barely supplied at all to talk about them seriously
Produkt 305 is a legitimate missile, also a prototype one, russians can't produce them
There are many times more kamikaze FPVs footage just from the last few months than there is lancet videos from a whole war
Alot honestly, like any quadcopter with bombs.
Switchblade is a expensive drone built to take out high vaule targets on the first shot.
For lower vaule targets you can afford to miss more as ability to spam it at any targer has more vaule.
Basically if you need to kill a specfic butthole you need a switchblade if you need to kill those buttholes you want something cheaper.

Switchblade 300 got used up, Switchblade 600 is being tested using Russian AA as guinea pigs

The one that was posted on /k/ deleting BUK

The controller for these things doesn't have a DVR so you need to hook it up to a special laptop to record footage so no one really bothers.

Reminds me of a year ago when people were saying there was a lack of javelin videos because they didn't work.
I suspect some of the anti switchblade extreme is russian shills going off about them because its a recognizable western brand.

Those FPV drones with RPG rockets strapped underneath. Since they're quadcopters they can hover and allow the operator to better find their targets
I wonder how many zBlack folk this kind of image have tricked in the past
The light poles seriously need some graphical work though Jesus those polys

Don't tell me anyone actually for the switchblade meme?
