Dad gave me a .22 Cricket when I was 11. Took me to the range and it taught me to respect firearms. Is there a modern equivalent?

That kid needs a haircut more than he needs a gun.
this
dude looks like an elf
>And my FAL!
>dude looks like an elf
give him a Sako
Ruger 10/22 for little ones, a 16" or pistol AR once they get bigger
He's handsome enough for long hair. You'd be surprised at how much some women love a handsome face framed with long hair.
Gobblessim for not getting the mulatto perm.
Long hair =/= twink, this kid looks like he has a pair of doc martins in his closet with some gay's thinking jelly still in the treads
I was thinking the same thing
We know it's you, PT.
jelly
Why do people care about other peoples hair length. That’s some weird boomer shit.
I’d want long luscious hair if my biology allowed it.
>Twinks and FALs
My dream

It's scary how much that place looks like my gun shop. Why are all gun shops near identical inside? Fricking twilight zone feeling, ong
Slide thread, vatniks sure are busy distracting from their latest humiliation
Just got helped my gfs little brother buy his first handgun. Just a little rough rider on PSA for their big winter sale. Took him to the range today to shoot some regular .22 and some .22WM. He’s already got the itch to buy another. When he eventually ends up here please take good care of him.
>ends up here
God willing, that'll never happen. Remember,
>you're here forever
if you're old enough, buy a palmetto state armory AR-15 kit. it's the most plentiful and cost effective rifle ammunition in the country by a substantial margin, and as you shoot the gun you'll figure out if there's anything you need to change. the sig Romeo 5 is a great entry level optic that won't break the bank either. this is a good tool to learn how to use grown up weapons. have fun.
>sig Romeo 5
Great suggestion, I've got 2 and every time I get a new rifle I slap one on just to get a good feel for it
Kalashnikov.
>What firearm would you recommend to get a young person into firearms?
Winchester mod70 featherweight chambered for .458Lott
you ever heard of the term "cutecel"?
>is there a modern equivalent
For me the firearm tradition was passed down from grandad, I think the skipped gen is probably pretty common where I live. It was a part of life for our grandparents, then the boomer gen all moved into cities, became a lot more domesticated and didn't "need" guns. My folks are still a little uncomfortable about them. I had to get my license (Canada) to keep his guns in the family. As much as I hate our system, the need to get a license was kind of a right of passage that firmed up my understanding of the responsibilities involved, just doing the paperwork and junk made me take it more seriously, and forced me to grow up a little.
First hands-on intro to guns was taking my lads out with me to shoot a log out in the country. Few better bonding experiences than shooting things with the lads.
