forwarded your post, along with the one with the VHS from another thread, to the FBI. Extremists connected with foreign terrorist groups have no business owning dangerous firearms. Enjoy your 6am wake up call.

Looks like a new Bushmaster ACR. Either from this year or last year when they resumed production. I'm betting it's last year's model since they have long wait times lately. Also why you got Wagner badge? Some dude reported you to the FBI for it.
I wish i worked 60 hours a week
t. non-union bus driver
I can afford all sorts of magical toys because of ridiculous amounts of overtime (there's a massive shortage of CDL operators out there right now, apparently it's gotten so bad that Biden signed some shit to temporarily waive the mandatory fed waiting period after getting your permit to take the cdl driving test) but I don't even have time to get to the range more than once a month tops.
No lie i have saved enough money over the last year that I could buy an entry level full auto if I wanted, but why bother if it's going to gather dust? To watch it appreciate? Might as well buy fricking stocks man.
>t. non-union bus driver
UPS local tractor trailer CDL driver here.
Or should I say, laid off UPS driver.
Union is fighting with company, so they're fricking us over in prep for the contract negotiations, they want us to be broke and desperate to settle for whatever they give.
Fricking sucks, I was happy with what I was getting, I'd get the weird 14 hour "push it to the limit" shift now and then, but otherwise it was out in 10 hours.
If I could find a local CDL A that paid similar, had regular, standard hours, and didn't have me running to the fricking worst places in the worst trucks I'd probably bail and sign on.
I kind of want to just bail anyway and go back to school for IT or something.
Being non union sucks bro. I get what you're struggling with but you don't get a better deal without the union backing you up, you get a worse one. The company is Black folk either way. Divided we beg.
That's true. I talk with the FedEx guys now and then who do the exact same job I do (shuttle trailers between centers), and they get paid like 25% less, have worse hours and bennies, and have to tolerate a whole lot more shit from management than I do. If my boss tells me to do something questionable, I tell them to frick off and call my rep.
I'm bent out of shape about the layoff but the union does make things better.
Also, if you've got Class A check UPSjobs.com now and then for local tractor trailer in your area.
I did dump trucks before this, and got hired off the street. It's honestly a great gig if you can find it in your area.
Normally they hire/promote internally from the package car drivers, so if you can handle a bus you're probably better than half their drivers right off the bat.

Have you considered.... forming a union?

Do it. I only do ~4 hrs of work every day and i work remote. Pay isnt spectacular at 20/hr but its as close as i can get to NEET life.
t. microsoft support engineer
What certs do you need to get in on that?
To be frank as a driver I was doing 33.75 per hour, but if I could work remote and maybe have more time to return to school, honestly I'll fricking take it
Frick UPS, jesus christ. Teamsters are fricking scumbags that do nothing in exchange for that $10 every check.
Im somewhat happier at fedex but theyre still pulling the same shit of cutting hours to the bone and trying to get 60 trucks a night processed with as bare minimum a crew as they can. and then they wont fricking train me on equipment so I cant do ramp duty and get more hours. Its fricking dogshit.
>Teamsters are fricking scumbags that do nothing in exchange for that $10 every check.
Which is why you file grievances my homie, I got around 2k writing up supervisors who worked on loading/unloading. But yes I do agree that UPS sucks penis. Worked there for 2 years until some bullshit contract expired and lowered my pay. I'm on FedEx now as well but its a literal downgrade in almost every aspect, minus pay. I'm working until I get the referral bonus and getting the frick out of there, warehouse work is NOT the move.
>Work for a pretty large ammo company. >Higher up. >Can still buy 1000rds of .223 for about 180. >Work 3-4 days during the week itself. >Flying out every weekend for some sort of show, event, business meeting. >Been home for one weekend out of the start of the year. >Purchasing firearms all the time while out of state on Gunbroker because I get bored. >Sitting on a metric frickton of ammo. >Never have a chance to shoot. >Never have a chance to go out.
Everyone always thinks the job is cool, but its like some sort of sick joke.
Absolutely not.
But being able to see neat shit all the time and being able to buy said neat shit but no time to actually enjoy it is a fricking wienertease I'll never get over.
Save money and retire young then enjoy the rest of your life someplace rural where you can shoot at all hours. I retired at 47 and life is good (except for my bad back, frick old age).
GENUINLY ME...right now working at lhr airside, i can see plane, i can admire it go woosh...but i'll always be stuck in this rainy shithole a brit gay...
I’m pretty grateful Locksneed and NASA turned me down, working for an oil company in a western mountain state and the hours and workload are nothing, the pay is the most I’ve made, and everyone here is an alcoholic degenerate. Feel like I struck gold. Might just vote for Biden since my life has gotten so much better.
I work on research ships for NOAA, so I’m technically a fed
Working here for the last four years has made me really hate the federal government, but being able to work basically my own schedule, get a shitload of paid training, and be able to smoke weed while still maintaining my sailing license has made it really hard to justify quitting and going back to the normal maritime industry. >pic rel from the other day
I worked with a bunch of NOAA guys for awhile at my old job maintaining electronics for the salmon fleets. I always thought it would be dope working on their science vessels, but I'm an uneducated mechanic
Here’s the sticky and a link to the Maritime General thread on /n/
Read the sticky though, it has all the info you’d need to start a maritime career as well as a company directory
I got in pre 2020. Only ammo I've bought since has been .22lr because of how expensive other ammo has gotten. It now costs about as much to reload for 9mm at today's prices as what you used to be able to get new .223 and 7.62x39mm for.
Many of you furry artists draw very well, I have personally reasearched that with tigress from kung fu panda or ah, so I've been told.
Purely for research purposes.
Reckon it depends on what yer looking for. Good pay, very good opportunities(commission in mil, flight nursing), can work in any state in the union and grad school is easy to get into.
Given it's a lot of bullshit, but if you got a good head on your shoulders and ain't mentally moronic(a woman), you're already ahead. Also, you will definitely learn more and begin to resent women.
What exactly would you like to know?
>what’s the fastest way to get into it? Should I go back to school? >how long does it take before you start making serious money? Is it hard to find entry level? >why does it redpill you on women? How’s the gender ratio? >what do you do in the day to day >how does the future look for the career?
>what’s the fastest way to get into it? Should I go back to school?
Community College for prereqs and transfer to either a uni for the program or a lot of CCs have programs themselves but many are associates level nursing degrees. Doing a nursing program at a larger college or uni usually net you a bachelor degree. Some bigger hospitals will take issue with associates level degree.
Prereqs=~2 years
program=2 years
There are also accelerated programs if you already have a bachelors. >how long does it take before you start making serious money? Is it hard to find entry level?
Serious? I dunno. I made ~90k first year. OT comes easy as frick too. Entry level jobs piss easy to get. But stick to large teaching hospitals and find a specialty you like. >why does it redpill you on women? How’s the gender ratio?
You are forced to hear them talk for an extended period of time. You interact with them all day, and many of them are in group functions. A large amount of RNs are hoes. 15:1 >what do you do in the day to day >Show up 1900:Get report >1930-0000:Perform assessment, give medications, make sure they're not actively dying >0000-0300: Check blood sugars, check vitals, make sure pt's ain't flopping on the floor like fishes >0400:Eat chow >0500:check vitals, get weights, make sure no one woke up dead >0700:give report >0800:shit shower shave >repeat x2 >how does the future look for the career?
So bright imma need some shades.
Futureproof. Regardless of anything that happens in the world people will need healthcare which means people need nurses. All this talk of automation is absurd and docs need us like Officers need NCOs. Plus if you're interested in the military, getting a commission is laughably easy and has some cool shit like CCAT.
Overall if you are serious about it get a PCA job. No commitment to any education and you can see how it is. I've been a CNA for 3 years and I am entirely burnt out and switching to an administrative role (I have an unrelated degree). Healthcare has been dog shit since Fall of 2020. I think its getting better, but very slowly. I imagine by late 2020s it wont be as shittly staffed.
This. Hospital/medical management is where the real money bloat in healthcare is going if you want the real golden teat. I knew managers making what most GP doctors did and executives making them look poor with what they made.

Half the reason I got out of the industry. That entire side going hand-in-hand with the pharmaceutical and insurance groups legit is disgusting, massive leeches for the most case.
My brother is a nurse and while the pay is good the work is shit. Fat drug addicted buttholes demanding insulin and free pills 24/7. Plus your female coworkers will expect you to handle every violent crackhead, PTSD headcase, and dementia patient reliving their abusive childhood whenever they pop up, you will be attacked by these people and cannot retaliate. Also get ready to deal with the guys from /misc/ who believe Covid vaccine (in fact, EVERY vaccine) is filled with mind-control nanomachines made by Bill Gates to destroy their semen and turn them into trannies, these people are real and bring their schizo shit to the hospital because nobody else will listen to their rantings in person anymore, also their kids are sick with diseases that should have been wiped out 200 years ago because surprise surprise they don't want Gates turning them into trannies so no vaccines for them either, please save them from measles or polio or whatever horrid shit they've allowed their spawn to suffer through because their parents should have been sterilized before they had a chance to have them.
LOL. Why'd you even reply to him? You're just putting a giant arrow on your post saying "I am a schizo. I am the person he's talking about." I swear man, you guys are too funny.
>also their kids are sick with diseases that should have been wiped out 200 years ago because surprise surprise they don't want Gates turning them into trannies so no vaccines for them either, please save them from measles or polio or whatever horrid shit they've allowed their spawn to suffer through because their parents should have been sterilized before they had a chance to have them
I've seen 10x the no vax kids come in from upper middle class left-wing families with their mothers talking about how they just don't understand why little Marley is sick, after all they've been vegan for years and the family iridologist said he was healthy.
>Covid vaccine (in fact, EVERY vaccine) is filled with mind-control nanomachines made by Bill Gates to destroy their semen and turn them into trannies
He doesn't know about Bill Gates.
I am Midwest no such thing as union here. My patients take IV dilaudid, IV ketamine drips and IV Valium all together and still complaining of 10/10 pain. That’s just the surgical ones. My mental and withdrawers are another story.
embedded codemonkey.
50 hours per week on average but it spikes up to "work basically when you're awake" levels about a month before product launch. unpaid overtime.
What kind of skills do I need to get that job? I might use the GI bill part time until I get a career change but can't stop working since I have to feed a little one
Pays great, I love flying, night vision is fun and I spent about $300 a check on guns & ammo. If I’m not under NODS at work, I’m running around with my own RPNVG, with my German Shepherds and shooting shit inna fields.
Senior safety engineer for a semiconductor fab. I do may be 8 hours of actual work a week, the rest is literally being paid to be able to answer difficult questions at the drop of a hat if needed.
I'm a plumber, mainly do water heater replacements and drain cleanings. Still living at home to save money for land so I haven't bought anything gun related in a good while.
To be honest man I've got a bachelor's and a sec+, but they didn't care about the cert. They do want me to pick up the solutions architect associate for them though
background in networking is almost a must. For competence. But that seems rarely required for sec guys these days, mostly just paranoia towards the people actually building and running your effing infrastructure.
>Cloud support
Truck driver anon here, how easy is this to get in on?
Presumably you need AWS' own brand of certs for this?
What certs do you need to get in on that?
To be frank as a driver I was doing 33.75 per hour, but if I could work remote and maybe have more time to return to school, honestly I'll fricking take it
Low level cloud stuff is hard to get into since that stuff is outsourced. Your best bet is house IT somewhere and branch into it. Expect munimum wage and depending on your boss, to be treated as a slave.
Experience and knowledge trump certs, but certs help you get passed the HR filter. If you can whiteboard stuff thats great.
I monotized the skills I developed in my youth. (doxxing and harassment online)
I do this for companies now to resolve emergencies.
"Anon, we need to get in contact with the supplier now, or we are gonna lose millions on this order"
look up company, find the highest ranking guy in it I can, find his personal cell phone number and address. If they decide to be an butthole about it I get to threaten every legal action I can make credible, and every credible action I can make legally.
"The supplier expidited our order, it gets here tomorrow. Good job anon!"
They call me an operations manger, I love my job.
It's a lot healthier outlet for this stuff too, and I've become a lot better person than I used to be.
I work when there's problems to be solved, which is very much not up to me.
In total I have a lot more free time than most people, but I have busier peirods too. It feels similar to creative work, in that at the most it becomes my whole life, living in airports and hotels and being on 24/7.
On paper I only make a 5 figure salary, but a lot of my compensation comes through bonuses and perks. The year I was doing corporate espionage type stuff I made a quarter mil on my bonus.
For getting into this kind of thing I cant say much. It's not exactly an industry.
The way I got hired was by already doing it. I scouted a place, managed to get lunch with the main guy, and then explained to him what all his problems were and how I could fix them. He hired me, I followed through, and I've been on the payroll since.
I'm in prison and watch violent offenders
actually an insanely easy gig for the pay, I just shoot the shit with joggers and walk in circles
I can relax around them cause they know they'll get fricked up by any supervisor if they touched an officer even on accident.
Mech engineer here. I'm all day drawing blueprint of agricultural and some mining machines. I should move from shiteurope to usa to get more money, but we don't have Black folk here.

how mich they pay you ?
I heard from my italian friend most euro city is chicago 2.0 + nafri but much worse
I used to do that. I was a UAW auto worker. The job was pretty good with pay and benefits; I made $32 an hour plus profit sharing of $10k+ per year. But I had to work around a bunch of dumb nogs every day.
fricking hell, "grey man" larpers are so fricking cringe. they stick out like a sore thumb where ever they go. most embarassing shit ever >i blend in to every enviroment by wearing clothes no one else does and acting suspicious in everything i do
That's the point. Their fantasy is that they'll blend in just enough that "sheep" and "wolves" won't spot them but fellow "sheepdogs" will and there will be mutual respect. They want to look "dangerous" and "tactical" but in a socially acceptable way. In their wet dreams they stop the mass shooter and then tell the police that they got it under control or something.
Nobody who isn't delusional dresses like that with intent to hide.
When I was on a cool guy security detail that was the de facto overseas uniform, except we’d go full secret squirrel and swap the 5.11’s for North Fakes or Carhartts.
C-17 Loadmaster. Upside is per diem helps pay for the larping. Downside is I’m never home to actually use it.
When I worked on the PSD we flew with the same crews on the C17, with the VIP module bolted in the middle and we’d fight over the litters on the side and chat with the crew and Ravens.
Same but making 380k. It's unbelievable how much people don't realize how valuable their data is.
Whats it like working on software development anons? Is it worth it? Is it something a 21 zoomer (me) can do with no prior computer experience? Been doing labour work since 16, would like to do something else instead
I do security operations for a fintech 40 - 50 hours a week. I could have bought a home but instead I spend my money on guns n ammo. I'm obsessed with guns, their engineering and all things 3d printed. I live extremely minimally to maximize capital for guns.
Here’s the sticky and a link to the Maritime General thread on /n/
Read the sticky though, it has all the info you’d need to start a maritime career as well as a company directory
>everyone ITT having decent jobs
I wonder if that's because only people who have interesting enough jobs to mention are posting, or if most of the poors have been priced out of guns.
I repair and deliver furniture, I also do warehouse stuff. I only make $65k a year but I live in the middle of nowhere in a flyover state so it goes a long way. Comfiest </=40hrs a week I've ever worked in my life. Thank God I got that bachelors degree!
I'm an engineer who works for a company that went full remote during the pandemic. We got bought out last year by some company full business grade coke addicts who are dumb as bag of rocks. Been working 5 - 10 hours a week ever since.
>what do people who can afford this hobby do for a living?
am LEOgay and also work part time at LGS. Overall I make a decent-ish living but it's my excellent credit that helps me afford most of my funs.
I worked for some major financial institutions in my country, now I handle the entire branch in charge of digitizing and storing key financial documents. I have 120 people under me, and I make roughly 8k€/month after tax in my yuro shithole.
I started acquiring guns when I made 3k€, though I really was on a tight budget at the time, guns are way more expensive than in the US, plus 200€ for the yearly licence and plenty extras here and there, but it was doable.
Construction Project Manager/Superintendent building multi-million dollar houses. It's cool cause I like building and working on crazy shit people ask us to put in their houses as well as refining how we build and always learning about new materials/products/tools. The stress will drive you to an early grave though but pays extremely well especially come bonus time. I also hardly spend money on gas or put wear and tear on my personal truck since I have a company truck. But yeah ultimately the job is being an extremely well paid tard wrangler and scheduler that occasionally has to get hands on.
I know, we hate you so..so much more.
Please figure out how to fricking patch. If you're a cable jockey stop using default snmp strings and get all your shit in cisco-ise with MFA.
this, unironically. friend has a multi-million(10+) company working with gubmint contracts and their firewalls get a few dozen attempts per day, 70-80 percent from uge chyna, rest from domestic US. my suspicion is that uncle spendy is trying to do damage control and internally roster what info has been leaked by breaking into the systems themselves so they can verify what is and what isnt a known unknown.
I sell mobile devices and service and shit for a retailer partnered with a major US cell carrier
Mostly just showing 90 year olds how to turn their brightness up but it pays the bills and buys bullets
Wagie poorgay, my only saving grace is that outside of rent I have very few expenses since I have very few hobbies and never socialize, plus 7.62x39 is still relatively cheap around here
This was me for over 10 years, I now own a nice house but still drive my rusty poorgay toyota and regularly eat spam because my brain is hard wired to poverty mode despite the fact im fine and have 2 years of pay saved. When you make it anon, and one day you will, don't carelessly blow your money and don't be me, just try be happy and secure.
Spam is like $4.99 per pound if you buy it in bulk at coscto. I don't have Spam because I'm broke, why do you? If I'm at Costco I'll get a couple rotisserie chickens because they're $4.99 for an entire cooked chicken, otherwise I get chicken for under $2/lb at a grocery store
More of a military contract company than civilian market. If you went to a 3rd world contract and convinced their government to adopt one then we’d could be business partners
>27 >oilfield >automation & controls >Maintenance manager for a frac comapny.
Learn some niche shit and work your way into a spot that people NEED you. Stop being fricking lazy.
NTA but I switched out of PE mid bachelors when the 2014 oil crash happened: lots of offers cancelled, students killing themselves, etc. The volatility of having your career determined by the price of a single commodity is brutal. I can't imagine what happened to that department when oil went negative kek.
I would recommend just taking a lap and minoring in CS: it's going to be far more valuable in the long run. >t. automotive ME gay
oil and gas came back because Biden Admin had to reverse its stance in order to go against Russia and capitalize on that.
its led to a massive shortage of qualified millwrights for turbines and heavy industrial equipment.
>just sold my failing business >have run it for 12 years, beyond burnt out >just turned 30 >no qualifications or degrees other than highschool >can't join military because some doctor thought I had ADHD a year ago (never took meds) >single
What the frick do I do? All I want is to move out of the city and live comfortably during the decline and collapse of society.
Society ist the decline of society, at least in the west. The further it degrades, the less likely it is to collapse. The decline of society happens precicely because people don't care enough for there to ever be a loss of control
I’m currently going for an associates in marking while working for a major banks auto department. I’m not exactly sure what to do with my degree once I get it. But hearing about all this cyber security stuff and tech is making me reconsider. I’m reasonably computer literate, what should I go for if I do decide to switch?
I got an office job and im a year away from six figs, so i can afford some entry level toys. 5 year plan is to build a pathan style ak with carved furniture and some specific traits, i have a guy and everything, but my libshit state banned everything so I must wait.
I know plenty of 65k/year bros from my old line of work who own guns, they just take them out on payment plans
^This. Live right and have much disposable income. I'm a poor cripple only netting ~60K but about 2/5 is fun money and I'm debt free with a paid off mortgage.
Buy cheap, DIY like a beast, don't live in cities.
engi for a car company, piss easy job that pays well enough, even better coworkers are curious about /k/ shit too and they appreciate my autism in a way i haven't experienced before
I'm poor as shit, I cheap out on what I eat so I can afford firearms. I also don't smoke, drink, or do much that requires spending money aside from buying a game every now and then.
Great gifts from patients, too. Been doing this less than a year and I've gotten a really nice bottle of champagne, many coffee gift cards, food, a knife..
Unigay. Parents pay for college, and since I'm a fricking leaf it's not too much. But I get part time jobs to pay for guns and other hobby shit, usually part time TA or other university work.
What's the job market look like for civil engineers?Thinking about moving to alaska and working for oil once I get my bsc.
I'm a sample size of one but from what I've heard from my dad who works as a senior manager at a local utility company, they are desperate for engineers. Granted you can make more working elsewhere, but the benefits you get from working with the city government are massive.
Alaska has lots of opportunities, not just for civil engineers but all engineers. I've actually been looking at job listings for mechanical engineers up there, thinking I may give it a go after I graduate.
Plumbers apprenticeship
It fricking blows, I've been working out of town for 3 months straight for $17 an hour crawling around in dirt and shitwater. I am desperately trying to get a foot in the door doing welding/metal fab somewhere because I fricking HATE plumbing. Also I've only bought 1 gun and gone shooting twice since I got this job.
Software gay for a big company with an office in the south, so I get good money and the ability to buy fun things (I even have constitutional carry). It's hilarious though seeing the sharp contrast between all the people who came from India and west coast being so scared of guns, while me (from the south) and the guys who came from Mexico going to the range together a few times a month and talking about them all the time.
cowards and those afraid of doing things for themselves hate guns. Gun ownership is a pretty clear cut divide on who you are as a person for the most part.
I wish I could do software stuff like you, but I don't have the head for it. I want to make good money, but I just don't have the headspace for software gigs.
I'm a network/server tech and I work for a certain telecommunications company. Get to travel to the remote locations that everyone else hates to go. It's pretty comfy tbh. I've still got mostly poorgay shit. Just got into this gig I have terrible spending habits. Recently bought a new Nissan and furnishing for the goon cave.
I have a couple of them. Heard complaints before I bought them but decided to try them out anyway. They both have a few hundred rounds through them without malfunctions. I keep them both filled with Underwood 147 grain JHP when I'm farting around the goon pad.
I have nothing against OEM mags. I have 3 17 round OEM mags that I've used quite a bit. I've been thinking about getting a couple big sticks because it feels like I haven't completed the glock ownership meme until I do.
I work at a firearm accessories company in customer service (although I don't talk to customers directly). Pretty boring and sometimes frustrating due to how moronic people are (customers, coworkers, and management). Actually work is easy and plenty of OT.
I've used industry discounts for most gun related stuff for the past 7 years.
>be me >go to school for Poly Sci degree, minor in Business >go to pursue MBA due to urging from parents, everyone says its a good idea >hard but I get through it, graduating in…. December 2019 >COOF hits >world shuts down for 2 years >no one hiring outside entry level salesman roles >finally get a decent job >quit after a month because its a 2 hour drive one way, i cant afford any rent closer, and the job is Excel Hell for 16 hours a day
The suffering is endless, bros. Dont go to college unless its STEM, bros. NEET now, barely make enough to go shoot a mag or two once a month.
I'm going to community college to get a degree as a general industrial electrician.
Feel like it's a good choice, puts me above the crowd if I want to work non union, teaches me everything I need to know to get into the union.
I think community college is a good option for people who want to get into the trades, even though it isn't necessary.
while tradesmen are based and generally always do well and are needed, there is money in offices, a lot of it comes from medical and dental benefits as well as job stability if you work in a shithole blue state, but if you do you probably can't own guns until you retire and leave, so it's a moot point.
I started business school when the pandemic hit. What a fricking disaster it was. The school couldn't decide whether to do hybrid classes or what, so more than half the enrollees ended up leaving after the first semester. Then the school had the audacity to ask for our discretion regarding their lack of decisiveness
EE major who just graduated. Got a job as a avionics test engineer. Im pretty nervous. The pay is $90k, which means I'll have alot of cash left over to hopefully cope with the high workload. My dream is to find a nice spot in the mountains to go shooting on weekends, but we shall see.
Currently a paper pusher, planning on breaking into IT. Would get into some more mechanical shit, but I am colorblind as *all* hell which already fricked me over various other jobs before.
Unionized city bus driver making $35 per hour. If i want I could work up to 70 hours per week due to HOS (Hours of Service) legislation. Any work done over 40 hours in one week is paid at 1.5x ($52.5/hour). $100,000 per year is easily attainable with overtime.
I fricked up my knee during basic, now I'm wage slaving in a warehouse, my body goes into shock every 2 day, but it pays ok, I need it to pay for my car, and a small place when I'm going to start gunsmithing school. Life is pretty shitty overall, gf is a headhache, but at least I get to paint warhammer models with the boys
Electrical Design Engineer.
Unfortunately I live in an eastern european shithole, so I only get paid around 18k USD /year. You can't name a single profession in the US that makes less than I do. Not to mention that far fewer guns are available here, and those that you can find cost 1.5-2 times as much as they do in the States, and the long guns are restricted to 10 round magazines. At least pistols can have 20 rounds. At least for now.
Don't you guys know some college kid that wants to leave the evil US to live in a socialist country in the EU? I'd happily trade passports.
I'm a certified forklift operator

thank you for your service

Everyone always thinks the job is cool, but its like some sort of sick joke.
If it's profitable then it's good. You're not going to leave to pump septic tanks in Section 8 trailer parks any time soon, are you?
Absolutely not.
But being able to see neat shit all the time and being able to buy said neat shit but no time to actually enjoy it is a fricking wienertease I'll never get over.
Save money and retire young then enjoy the rest of your life someplace rural where you can shoot at all hours. I retired at 47 and life is good (except for my bad back, frick old age).

I’m pretty grateful Locksneed and NASA turned me down, working for an oil company in a western mountain state and the hours and workload are nothing, the pay is the most I’ve made, and everyone here is an alcoholic degenerate.

Registered Nurse.
Easy and only work 3 days a week.
Should I take the nursepill? I know a chick who does it and she seems alright

Community College for prereqs and transfer to either a uni for the program or a lot of CCs have programs themselves but many are associates level nursing degrees. Doing a nursing program at a larger college or uni usually net you a bachelor degree. Some bigger hospitals will take issue with associates level degree.
Prereqs=~2 years
program=2 years
There are also accelerated programs if you already have a bachelors.
>how long does it take before you start making serious money? Is it hard to find entry level?
Serious? I dunno. I made ~90k first year. OT comes easy as frick too. Entry level jobs piss easy to get. But stick to large teaching hospitals and find a specialty you like.
>why does it redpill you on women? How’s the gender ratio?

So bright imma need some shades.
Futureproof. Regardless of anything that happens in the world people will need healthcare which means people need nurses. All this talk of automation is absurd and docs need us like Officers need NCOs. Plus if you're interested in the military, getting a commission is laughably easy and has some cool shit like CCAT.
It doesn't really sound like you sleep. Doesn't sound like you let patients sleep either.
Yeah, you make money off the misery of the sick and dying
Half the reason I got out of the industry. That entire side going hand-in-hand with the pharmaceutical and insurance groups legit is disgusting, massive leeches for the most case.
>What exactly would you like to know?
How often will I have to wipe an old man's ass?
Shut the frick up already you bore, go write a newsletter

I've seen 10x the no vax kids come in from upper middle class left-wing families with their mothers talking about how they just don't understand why little Marley is sick, after all they've been vegan for years and the family iridologist said he was healthy.

I maintain and fix security systems for TSA. Plus I get disability pay from the VA.

My man, did you need any certs for your job? I work cloud support at aws and I've been trying to get to the sec side
>Cloud support
Truck driver anon here, how easy is this to get in on?
Presumably you need AWS' own brand of certs for this?
To be honest man I've got a bachelor's and a sec+, but they didn't care about the cert. They do want me to pick up the solutions architect associate for them though
background in networking is almost a must. For competence. But that seems rarely required for sec guys these days, mostly just paranoia towards the people actually building and running your effing infrastructure.
Just my two cents, but CCNA is the best bang for buck cert ever. I went from help desk to making $75k as a consultant with it.
So you work on your own time? Does it pay well? I want to do something similar considering I'm a-okay with computers
Thats pretty cool anon.
man that's really cool

That's the point. Their fantasy is that they'll blend in just enough that "sheep" and "wolves" won't spot them but fellow "sheepdogs" will and there will be mutual respect. They want to look "dangerous" and "tactical" but in a socially acceptable way. In their wet dreams they stop the mass shooter and then tell the police that they got it under control or something.

>no qualifications or degrees other than highschool
>can't join military because some doctor thought I had ADHD a year ago (never took meds)
>single
What the frick do I do? All I want is to move out of the city and live comfortably during the decline and collapse of society.
Become a park ranger.
Society ist the decline of society, at least in the west. The further it degrades, the less likely it is to collapse. The decline of society happens precicely because people don't care enough for there to ever be a loss of control
Start a new business
how do you do this, how do you efven get a decent job I got no idea where to start in this shithole.
idk
I bought Bitcoin to buy drugs and forgot about it in like 2011
I cut grass.
I sell drugs
>I sell drugs
>not a single mini draco in sight

I’m currently going for an associates in marking while working for a major banks auto department. I’m not exactly sure what to do with my degree once I get it. But hearing about all this cyber security stuff and tech is making me reconsider. I’m reasonably computer literate, what should I go for if I do decide to switch?
IT software engineer for a major airline. I love the flight benefits but have to hide my love of guns completely
Do you also have to hide your love for fricking children?
I don't understand, why are you so mad anon?
He hates competition and should join the priesthood.
I'm literally (not figuratively) an arms dealer
can i have one?
I got an office job and im a year away from six figs, so i can afford some entry level toys. 5 year plan is to build a pathan style ak with carved furniture and some specific traits, i have a guy and everything, but my libshit state banned everything so I must wait.
I know plenty of 65k/year bros from my old line of work who own guns, they just take them out on payment plans
I make 35k/yr and have 20 guns. Budgeting is important and so is avoiding debt.
^This. Live right and have much disposable income. I'm a poor cripple only netting ~60K but about 2/5 is fun money and I'm debt free with a paid off mortgage.
Buy cheap, DIY like a beast, don't live in cities.
>65k a year
>payment plans
this is why you don't /k/onsooooooooom gun product
Medical device. I design million dollar medical appliances.
engi for a car company, piss easy job that pays well enough, even better coworkers are curious about /k/ shit too and they appreciate my autism in a way i haven't experienced before
I'm poor as shit, I cheap out on what I eat so I can afford firearms. I also don't smoke, drink, or do much that requires spending money aside from buying a game every now and then.
I work in a hotel.
I've gotten two coworkers into shooting (IPSC, archery) so far.
I fix jet liners
Radiation Therapist
100k a year to cure people's cancer
Easy job. Little education. M-F 8-5
Great gifts from patients, too. Been doing this less than a year and I've gotten a really nice bottle of champagne, many coffee gift cards, food, a knife..
what kind of knife
Also I've only bought 1 gun and gone shooting twice since I got this job.
relax, you guys only have to remember 3 things for your job anyways
>shit flows downhill
>wash your hands before you eat
>don't lick your fingers
Look for union pipefitting jobs
Join a union apprenticeship and your life will improve dramatically.
I chill with puppies all day.
Air Force gay and wife works from home, 150k+ net. Work maybe 30 actual hours a week making a couple excel docs and powerpoints lol
I used to haul fuel now I'm in management, less fumes and I make $80k annually.
I work at a gun store.
I very rarely shoot in my off time because a) I can't afford it and b) sometimes you wanna do something else without guns.
sad
I'm a network/server tech and I work for a certain telecommunications company. Get to travel to the remote locations that everyone else hates to go. It's pretty comfy tbh. I've still got mostly poorgay shit. Just got into this gig I have terrible spending habits. Recently bought a new Nissan and furnishing for the goon cave.
I love those pmags, so much lighter than the OEM metal lined ones. They're also cheap enough to hide randomly around the house/car.
I carry one as a spare with my G26 gen5
I have a couple of them. Heard complaints before I bought them but decided to try them out anyway. They both have a few hundred rounds through them without malfunctions. I keep them both filled with Underwood 147 grain JHP when I'm farting around the goon pad.
I ran hundreds of rounds through them with my ghm9. It's why I trust them with my life.
I have nothing against OEM mags. I have 3 17 round OEM mags that I've used quite a bit. I've been thinking about getting a couple big sticks because it feels like I haven't completed the glock ownership meme until I do.
gunmagwarehouse has a sale now for $37.99
Ah geeze dood alright let me find my wallet you convinced me.
Welding and being frugal to a point where it's probably sad
I work at a firearm accessories company in customer service (although I don't talk to customers directly). Pretty boring and sometimes frustrating due to how moronic people are (customers, coworkers, and management). Actually work is easy and plenty of OT.
I've used industry discounts for most gun related stuff for the past 7 years.
>I don't talk to customers directly
Good
>be me
>go to school for Poly Sci degree, minor in Business
>go to pursue MBA due to urging from parents, everyone says its a good idea
>hard but I get through it, graduating in…. December 2019
>COOF hits
>world shuts down for 2 years
>no one hiring outside entry level salesman roles
>finally get a decent job
>quit after a month because its a 2 hour drive one way, i cant afford any rent closer, and the job is Excel Hell for 16 hours a day
The suffering is endless, bros.
Based and tradesman pilled.
All these kids want to work in an office for 40 hours. That's not where the money is.
while tradesmen are based and generally always do well and are needed, there is money in offices, a lot of it comes from medical and dental benefits as well as job stability if you work in a shithole blue state, but if you do you probably can't own guns until you retire and leave, so it's a moot point.
Or become a tradesman and let the wife do the office work.
I started business school when the pandemic hit. What a fricking disaster it was. The school couldn't decide whether to do hybrid classes or what, so more than half the enrollees ended up leaving after the first semester. Then the school had the audacity to ask for our discretion regarding their lack of decisiveness
Manual labor. $40/hr. $83k/yr.
What's your position, I too am a laborer, been doing warehouse work for 2 years, need something new for a change
>hakim, draw me like one of your yezidi sex slaves
EE major who just graduated. Got a job as a avionics test engineer. Im pretty nervous. The pay is $90k, which means I'll have alot of cash left over to hopefully cope with the high workload. My dream is to find a nice spot in the mountains to go shooting on weekends, but we shall see.
Active Duty E9.
Get a commission.
Live off military gibbs in total shame of my inability to hold down a real job
> in total shame
That’s where you’re goofing up
Currently a paper pusher, planning on breaking into IT.
Cybersecurity grifter
I sit at a desk auditing my coworkers paperwork for roughly $30 an hour. This is the perfect job for someone with high functioning autism.
Oncology pharmacist
I fricked up my knee during basic, now I'm wage slaving in a warehouse, my body goes into shock every 2 day, but it pays ok, I need it to pay for my car, and a small place when I'm going to start gunsmithing school. Life is pretty shitty overall, gf is a headhache, but at least I get to paint warhammer models with the boys
bruh
ditch the gf
ATC, damn near getting into arguments with pilots on the daily
I cut down trees, it's pays ok but I've almost died a few times. Wish I could do something else but this is my only real skill
Pile these log to make a lodge?
maybe stop killing the planet?
idk
I cut down invasive species and dead trees, a bit far from killing the planet
Electrical Design Engineer.
Unfortunately I live in an eastern european shithole, so I only get paid around 18k USD /year. You can't name a single profession in the US that makes less than I do. Not to mention that far fewer guns are available here, and those that you can find cost 1.5-2 times as much as they do in the States, and the long guns are restricted to 10 round magazines. At least pistols can have 20 rounds. At least for now.
Don't you guys know some college kid that wants to leave the evil US to live in a socialist country in the EU? I'd happily trade passports.
plenty of those types in the west cost
Power distribution engineer.
Manufacturing, 12h days blow but having a couple more days off is good cope. I need to get into cybersec or something before I sig myself
I'm a digital forensics analyst
Why is there a pile of leaves next to your guns?
if you look closely, you can actually see camouflage wrap under the leaves. what's it wrapping? who knows
Holy based kit. What's that pistol up top though?
mark iv 22/45 tactical with an SRD22 can
I don't do anything
I just sit in indecisiveness about what to do
This sucks
