Not really off the street but a local thrift store has a free section. The other day I got a pair of Redwing steel toes my size. They were like brand new but they had thrown them in the free section because they had gotten rained in.

damn some free Redwings? That's a frickin comeup bro. I spent like 110 on some nondescript Doc Martens the other day, I still feel like I paid too much lol

Yeah they have cool shit in the free section all the time. Last time was a free dining table that's going to end up as my work bench

I feel like texas should have enough prisoners to emboss those.

Texas plates are the most soulless plates in the US now. They're so fricking ugly.

I found a literal pile of them at a corner once, had to be at least 70-100 of them. They're all chilling in my garage atm.

I got this old Craftsman jack from somenody’s curb. Popped a new seal in the piston and she’s ready to go for another 50 years. Made in Japan, I think it’s a rebranded Blackhawk.

    >What cool shit do you pick up off the street for free? I love these yellow boards, perfect for covering the deep
I made the mistake of letting my job move me to Europe so I got rid of most of my heavy furniture thinking it was a one way trip.
    > get laid off before visa turns to permanent residency.
Out of spite I made the frickers fly me back to America to the farthest west place I could think of. California. The neighbor I went to had a ton of rootless cosmopolitans who would leave their shit out for free like I did.
Here's a list of shit that I found:
    > Solid oak end tables
    > a weird ass flower lamp
    > multiple dressers
    > a chaise lounger that goes in front of the bed
    > Futon frame (bought a new mattress for it)
    > a network color laser printer
    > A great office chair
    And my personal favorite
    > a 32 inch LCD TV for the bedroom
    > A 52inch LCD smart TV
TV had a bad LCD strip which I repaired for 40$ best part? The previous owner was still signed into all of their streaming services. I haven't paid for any streaming services in 4 years and they haven't seemed to notice the shit I add and watch.

And the posts make great railing for a utility trailer. It's sturdy af and it already has holes right in it for ratchet straps

That makes no sense. If they have bullet holes in them there will be even less wind resistance.
