Why is everyone else down below just simply pretending it doesn't affect them?

I mean, if I were to hear an officer trying to find where the bottom of his magazine lies I would at least have a more lively reaction than simply staring like watching a video.

Why are people talking about those so often? Are they particularly good? Aren't there other models from the same category?
By the way, how does it work, is it CO2 powered?

      they are shit

even if they were 100 percent reliable ( which would be a dramatic first for a co2 pistol, but I suppose is possible) those paintball pepper rounds just don't work that well. the powder is just not persistent enough or present in high enough volumes.

the police ones seem to work OK for crowd control but they have. 68 caliber semi of full autos with hundreds of pepperballs on tap so they can saturate. these pistols usually only hold a few balls. often .50 call as well. which in terms of interior volume is ALOT smaller.

maybe if someone came up with an exotic pepperball filling. like a gas emitting sticky liquid or something. seems farfetched though.

        >like a gas emitting sticky liquid or something.
there have been counter-robbery paintball rounds that instead of paint or pepper juice use brightly colored ink that stinks real bad and is hard to wash off of skin. Basically sharpie ink with agents in it to stink to high hell. so you tag the guy on his way out so when you call the cops if he's not still on scene you tell them "look for the guy who's covered in fricking paint and stinks specifically like rotten strawberries with a hint of pina colada". essentially it's the same idea as a dye pack.

they werent very popular because the idea of retaliating against an armed robber isn't very attractive, and if they just cover up well they can simply ditch their clothes and be unaffected. being fundamentally still just a paintball they don't hurt enough to disable. dye packs also fell out of favor for similar reasons -- it just pisses them off so they come back and shoot you for your insolence, and don't reliably ruin all the money bad enough they can't just send it back to the mint for replacement saying it was involved in a painting incident (or simply use it at retailers that don't give a shit you obviously stole the money or just LITERALLY launder it)

in russia it's common to attack local hoodlums or political dissidents with this kind of stuff, usually green because of some wack historical reason related to old national flowers or something

Getting real for a minute, these things have their uses.

I live near Oakland. Won't say where, but close enough where we loose about a grand in stuff per month. All of our personal cars have been broken into at least once in the past year, all of our work vehicles get broken into every 2-3 months. Our warehouse has an entire pallet of just replacement windows. Our trailers get broken into nightly and homeless people from a nearby camp often float in to steal anything not nailed down. This creates a problem for our truckers, our fab shop techs and our site personnel. Thefts are split between local """youths""" and fetanyl zombies.

Previously, we'd just hose them off using recycled water. But this got expensive quickly and is contingent on moving around a big heavy industrial hose that isn't very mobile so it can't get between the trucks or close to the fence. The zombies eventually learned to disable the water spigot we used and actually turned it off at the street. So our fab shop guy, a big fat illegal racist mexican, started using bear spray. It worked out pretty well but the fentanyl messes these guys up so bad where they cannot feel pain. So he got a bat - but limited to arm and head shots as the local hospitals will report leg/pelvis/rib shots that impair mobility to the police as, in the state of California, you are only disabled if you cannot physically walk.

At this point he got a 20ga shotgun with beanbag rounds. First he tried a single-action, but hitting these frickers in the ass would prompt them to really attack so he quickly switched it out for an SA-20 which would do enough non-disabling damage where they would voluntarily exit or lie down and be dragged out. This was hard to control in the dark especially when drunk, so he swapped it for an SA-410 which worked much better, less ass kicking power but the better shots (usually to the shoulder, arm or glancing blows to the upper chest) sends a clearer message and enabled more of them to leave on their own power rather than a drag-out.

However, it's gutsy to use. OPD knows about it but won't prosecute since the gun is painted orange with a full size rifle stock and has "pellet only" painted on it. Also a very, very, very bright flashlight. This is enough, for now, but he wanted something more professional in case the insane SJW black qwueen prosecutor decides to frick him.

Enter the peppergun. Essentially a modified airsoft gun, it's all the sting of a beanbag round with all the long-term breathing trouble pepperspray brings. It is lightweight, easy to use with a single hand, and because it is NOT a firearm or a weapon he stands a chance in a court. It's become his go-to for zombie control and so far he has had 100% success in convincing them to drop our tools and exit our property without physical restraints on their body.

pic rel is not what we use but it's very close from an off brand chink manufacturer for a third of the price, and is also painted orange for safety. It can fire over 100 rounds per minute and a sustained burst can last up to 4 minutes (240 seconds) until the stock mag runs out. The stock Co2 can will only last about ~2 minutes on sustained burst but we have air tool cans that will last 4-5 mags depending on how gutsy you want to be. In terms of damage there is: permanent scarring, dented ribs, dented orbital bones, dislocated (although not broken) jaws, broken/missing teeth, broken fingers, lesions, minor non-lethal bleeding, and being unable to eat. Takes about 5-10 hits to take down a typical zombie with larger zombies requiring up to 15 depending on shot placement. Shots are always to center of mass and above the wasteline, but since it's low power an inadvertent face shot won't immediately break their face. It's much easier to use than trying to aim beanbags off the floor or into a safe body part and dragging them out and has become our non-lethal coercion device of choice.

this one Hispanic has hurt at least 50+ homeless black people this way, and he enjoys it. He'll target whites or any other zombie too but since thieves around here are black, they get shot more often. Fortunately the police are black too so when they ask for help they get the shit kicked out of them (but in a non-disabling way that would otherwise be reportable).

I've always wanted to see what a can cannon would do to a crackhead.

        >machine a thicker walled barrel
        >load up extra pissing hot blanks or have additional charge at the bottom of the can
        >fill cans with fiber and water and freeze them, alternatively start saboting railroad spikes, silver rods if dealing with vampires

or if dealing with NAPAs or non-domesticated porch monkeys, just switch out the can cannon for an actual barrel.

I think the problem is more that cans are just too light and have actively awful aerodynamics

like no matter how hard you throw an empty can at someone, you will probably do more damage to the can than the person once you get it fast enough to hurt the person
