Hoffman Tactical Super Safety. A DMCA proof Forced Rest Trigger or FRT meant to be used in semi-auto AR-15's to achieve a near full auto rate of fire while not being a machine gun. It is not a machine gun because it ks still one shot per pull of the trigger.
>It is not a machine gun because it ks still one shot per pull of the trigger.
It is a machine gun, with this rate of fire, a random ATF agent test firing it will not be able to consistently do one shot per trigger pull.
>rate of fire >trigger pull
Not included in the definition of a machinegun >shoot, automatically more than one shot, without manual reloading, by a single function of the trigger
The ATF's explicit endorsement of binary triggers (two rounds per trigger pull) and criminal action against short-reset devices (necessarily one round per trigger pull) demonstrates that the "single function" language is unconstitutionally vague
>If Agent Grug thinks it makes evil pew pew stick, it is in fact
Tell that to Alejandro Jimenez
With the chevron deference potentially being thrown out, the whole ATF “interpretive rule”-as-law may not be a thing for that much longer.
Already invalid when the ATF contradicted itself
I'm not an American, so feel free to discard my opinion, but the phrase in the constitution that guarantees Americans' right to bear arms is vague too. You should be more proactive about fighting for your rights and ensuring the government follows the spirit of the the United States constitution.
I understand that it's a chicken-and-egg problem of injustice - the government blatantly allowed your constitutional rights to be infringed, and I don't have a good solution, but you should stop pretending this is anything more than a short-sighted protest that fails to address the root of the issue.
How is that vague lol
>Not included in the definition of a machinegun
With a short-reset machinegun, if you pull the trigger, the gun will continue to shoot until you stop pulling it.
>will continue to shoot until you stop pulling
None of that is the language of the NFA

the issue is the government has figured out that they can basically do whatever they want and just deal with it in court later, then change a couple of words in the bill, rinse, and repeat.
There is no good solution aside from employing extralegal measures against politicians to expose their malice. Guns aren't the only thing that would benefit from this, but I don't need to tell you why that would be insanely difficult or downright impossible with the almost religious reverence the legal system has in the US.
The solution is to start shooting politicians. I'm serious. The founding fathers also knew it would inevitably have to happen because it's human nature to try to concentrate power. Hence, "the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants".
That's counterproductive. The tree of liberty grows in precarious ground, the United States and its founding principles are especially fragile in this world of enemies, internal and external, which it has cultivated over the past century.

Your mum was counterproductive when she gave birth to you. Death to tyrants, that's all.

ATF doesn't care if you know how to actually read the statute. If Agent Grug thinks it makes evil pew pew stick, it is in fact an evil pew pew stick.
