Idk why but a few years ago ticks just stopped biting me altogether. Can wade through brush naked all day and sleep in grass and never get a bite. I get plenty of chiggers. I also have seemed to develop immunity to mosquitos although I still get bit here and there

i was traveling a summer or two ago living out of my van with my dog and woman over on the east coast (inland) and I think it was north carolina where I slept at a rest stop by not far from that underwater bridge and then i wake up and i feel this weird shit on me and bam i have two or three ticks on my body, and my gf has one too, pulled them off without thinking and then spent the whole day worrying that i didn't get their mouths out, shit was horrid
